My brother has an allergy to eggs. When the server brought out his fries and we saw they were battered, we asked if he knew if eggs were used to batter the fries. He said he didn't know the answer but he'd go check the ingredients in the batter. He disappeared for a moment and came back with the ingredient list off the box. He sat down with us at the table and let us read the ingredient list to verify that there wasn't eggs in the batter. We were grateful to receive this type of service! That alone was worth 5 stars, but the food was delicious as well. My family recommends the pork chop sandwich, the hamburger, the French dip, and the chef salad. read more

Papa T's - Pizza time ride adds to the family charm of this establishment - Burgers Near Me - Dillon, Montana

Thursday night special was great and price great. Salad was good but we asked for no fried tortilla bowl.

The restaurant looks pretty ordinary from the street. But we were tired and really didn't have the energy to look for some where else. Inside the large room seems dark. We were greeted quickly by a young girl with a pretty smile! Our meal came quickly. Enough food for 3 people! My fish and my husband's chicken were delicious. The fish lightly breaded and had mild taste, the chicken moist. All n all a very good meal ! Should we come back through Dillon again We would have a meal at Papa T's for sure! read more

Great food and friendly staff! My favorite sit down restaurant! Very clean establishment. Very nostalgic with video games and a juke box.

The atmosphere is great here! The gluten free pizza quite delicious. Most importantly we loved the staff. Orion, Kathryn and Kaylin were fabulous. Please try this spot I believe you will enjoy! read more

From pregame dinners when our college basketball teams visited Dillon, to family outings when our kids were little (and older!), Papa T's has something for every palate. The lunch and dinner items are affordable, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Plus, the owners and staff treat you like family. I HIGHLY recommend this stop when you're in the area!! read more

I've been coming here since a child with my Nana & Papa-- it's a family stop every time we drive through this area. Family friendly, open dining, games inside. Our usual order is a variety of different pizzas. read more

If you are headed through Dillon, make sure it's on a Thursday and stay the night. Papa T's has a Thursday special of Chicken Fried Steak that is hands down the best in the world. For around $7 you get a large order (which is MAMMOTH) with a huge scoop of REAL mashed taters and its all covered in gravy. Of course you get the Montana version of salad (iceberg lettuce with some carrot shavings), but it only makes you realize where you are. They also make a great pizza...try the Porky...yummmmmmmm. Another huge plus...they don't allow smoking...makes it great! Be sure to say hi to Evelyn and Tom and let them know what a great joint they run! read more

We are out of towners and are totally jealous! Wish our town had a papa t's! The place is amazing. i had the jalapeño burger my wife had the French dip, so we didn't eat the pizza . . . next time! So good and great atmosphere! read more

My wife is a Dillon native and says that Papa Ts is the most popular restaurant in Dillon (but it's a tiny town). We've gone there for pizza a couple times while visiting family and it is typical small-town pizza. According to the wife, their crust is their own recipe (a beer-infused type crust), but the rest of the pizza is pretty much out of a can (the vegetables definitely were). Get rid of the canned vegetables - go out and buy fresh foods for your pizza offering and maybe you'll have something. But they're a small town restaurant with no real competition that i know of, and many people love the place. The staff and service was good, but the food, pizza specifically, not so much. Will I go back? Probably - just won't get pizza again. read more

A civic service by a hardworking family that takes care of the town! The best and least greasy fried food you'll ever have...

As places to eat in Dillon goes, for the money, this is one of the best options, the food has been consistently, good and quick to the table, I don't always get my burger cooked to the temperature I want but that's not uncommon anymore. When I eat out, I eat there. read more

Papa T's is the real Montana cowboy eats. We stopped in Dillon for lunch and found this store front in the old down town part, away from the new chain places. Papa T's was once a saloon or bar of some kind, the old bar is still a prominent feature in the decor. It is surprisingly large once you get in the door. Many tables and a pool table all were busy at lunch. The old place has newly remodeled and updated clean restrooms. Several fast and courteous wait staff took our order and were knowledgeable about their menu. The lunch menu had a wide selection of items from salad to pizza to sandwiches. The bar serves a good selection of beverages. One large family with children were there. We had a good time and a good lunch. Everyone else looked like local ranchers and farm folk. Its worth a stop if you are in the Dillon, MT, area. read more

Without a doubt the best pizza in Southwest Montana and maybe even farther than that. Absolutely love this place!

Get the House Special pizza, it's the works and it's everything yummy piled high! Fresh mushrooms, bell pepper, onion, sausage, pepperoni... so much more. The jojos brought back memories of high school runs to the local gas station and were delicious! Our waitress was fabulous and helped us find some ideas to do while we waited on a truck repair. Everyone there was super kind, love it! read more

We were passing through Montana and needed lunch. Papa T's was the first place we spotted in Dillon. The service was friendly and fast, bathrooms were clean, and the food was delicious. I recommend the Papa T burger! Huge servings and good prices. Highly recommended. read more

Papa T's - Papa T Burger. Excellent and enormous! - Burgers Near Me - Dillon, Montana

Friendly staff, good food for the money. Best we've had so far on our MT vacay. Had a pizza and two different types of salads in our order and all of it was enjoyed. We left full and satisfied. Noticed pool table and games in the back but didn't go explore as there were kiddos already happily playing in that area. read more

Awesome for Dillon! Excellent prices, perfect for kids with arcade games and a small Carousel. Full bar and excellent drinks. Loved it, will be back!! read more

Best burger ever. Service was great, not too loud and the kids enjoyed playing the games while we waited to be served. The yelp directions seemed to be a bit confused so just stay on Montana till your by the Museum. It's just across and down the way. read more

One of the best French dips ever! Fresh baked bread, great amount of roast beef, perfectly cheeses, and excellent au jus!

Excellent pizza!! A real crispy crust. Toppings were fresh and sauce had just the right spice. Friendly service. Took awhile to place our order. (We flagged down a waitress) but our original waitress came back and profusely apologized for zoning out. It happens. Tea was quite tasty. Would definitely stop in again. read more

I have sampled pork chop sandwiches all over western Montana. This is, by far, the BEST pork chop sandwich even over the famous pork chop Johns. The meat is juicy, the coating is so crispy, and there is a perfect balance of mustard and pickles on a perfectly toasted bun. DELICIOUS AND RELIABLE FOR MORE YEARS THAN I CAN COUNT. read more

Stopped in on Sunday afternoon while on the motorcycle. It was nice to see a restaurant open after a couple of stops in nearby towns which were all closed on Sundays. Anyhow, big open space with lots of tables. Although quiet at this time, I could imagine baseball teams having team parties here. They seem kid friendly. We ordered a medium combination pizza and although we asked for light mushrooms, they must have missed that part. Nonetheless, the pizza was good. We'd come back when passing through the area again. We appreciated them having a variety of food choices. read more

Below average, all the way around. Pizza wasn't hot, and nothing special. Reminded me a bit of the "Tony's Pizzas" you get in the freezer section at the store. My husband had a burger- soggy, produce wasn't fresh, and super plain. Service was slow, and everything was very meh. The only reason it gets two stars is for the mini jojo's. Really surprised this joint has such great reviews. read more

Pizza, fried chicken, sandwiches, salads... they have it all and it's all good! Love this place to bring the kid, video games and a ride to distract him. Great family place. It's loud, but it's supposed to be! Great beers on tap and drinks too. read more

After a friend recommended Papa T's for chicken fried steak we tried it. It was as good as my own and I've been cooking that with my southern recipe for decades. Do yourself a favor, show up shortly after 5pm on Thursdays, order the chicken fried steak dinner (served with mashed potatoes and gravy, side salad), and prepare to thoroughly enjoy your meal. It's a huge serving so we have leftovers for the next night, it's great not to have to cook 2 nights in a row. I haven't tried anything else they serve however the staff have always been great. read more

They close at least 40 min early every night, which is a major inconvenience to many people. Especially when you are one of the only restraints in town. This is very frustrating to locals. read more

Stopped here, as we often do for a late lunch while driving thru - Great small town comfort food in an historic old building. Low key family atmosphere - got to watch kids play on the mini indoor carousel while we ate. Someday would like to indulge in playing one of the arcade video games...! Love the photos of 4H & sports teams on the walls. Super nice staff & delicious burgers & fries. Got the Haystack & classic burger, as well as both regular fries & gems (tater tots) - yum. Nothing fancy, just easy access/parking & darn good food. read more

On our way back from Utah getting hungry needed a bite to finish our journey home. Anyway, we stopped in papa t place. And I have to say my compliments to the chef. The fried chicken was excellent. Of course I've had the fast chains for a quick bite but Im willing, the next time I'm in the mood for fried chicken I drive the four hours one way for this chicken. Also enquired about the tin ceiling. Low and behold this place was a former brothel. Love it . read more

You better be hungry if you're going to stop and eat the burgers are amazing our waitress was awesome and love the Montana housepitality. Oh yeah and the onion rings are about the size of a grapefruit post my boss bought me read more

Great Cheeseburger! Something about this place makes you feel right at home. Very spacious and friendly people. I was wondering if this was the hotspot where people from Dillon come to hang out. I bet everybody knows everybody here. I'll be back again for the Cheeseburger! read more

Sad to say but this place has went down hill after the loss of Tom. Food has become just food nothing to brag about. Have eaten there since it opened. Would hope Paul would get in the kitchen and make sure the family recipes are adhered to. With some changes it could be the best eatery in Dillon again. read more

Not sure on the food but service was really disappointing. We arrived for lunch. Waited for almost a half hour for our order to be taken. We were a group of four. A table of eight and a table of six that came in after us got both their orders taken first. read more

Typical small town restaurant.. The food is decent but I wasn't inspired to finish my sandwich as it was rather ordinary. They would do better with a smaller menu where they specialized in one thing. Service was quick and friendly. read more

Excellent food! I'll be honest I was skeptical when we first walked in! Got the mushroom burger and was totally impressed. All five of us enjoyed our meals! read more

Great food and cute fun atmosphere! We got pizza beer, and fried chicken...all amazing

Best place in town, this is where we eat anytime we come to town, which is maybe twice a year (for 15 years now). Quality of food and service never changes! Atmosphere is a bit strange, with arcade games, and pool tables in a big open room, but it's totally worth it for the food. read more

Pretty good stuff. So far not been disappointed. Tried a few sandwiches and a couple burgers. I'll be back again.

Easy in and out with our 5th wheel, we just parked on the street! Fast and friendly service! Asked for recommendations and ordered the cheeseburger with homemade cottage fries, not the best, greasy and under cooked. My husband ordered the onion rings and they were good. Cheeseburger was good. I recommend the place!! You will leave full! read more

I don't normally like BBQ Chicken Pizza, but this place rocks it! Also love their Taco Pizza! Yummy!
