We wanted a good locally owned pizza place, and Arte Pizzeria fit the bill ... so well, in fact, that we went back a second night. The pizzas are handmade and really good, and the prices are fair. Everything came out fast both nights, which matters when you've got a 13-year-old and a 9-year-old at the table. But the thing my wife and I kept talking about afterward was the staff. It's mostly young people working there, and they were friendly, upbeat, and clearly invested in making the place feel welcoming. That kind of energy doesn't happen by accident ... somebody's running this place well. Great pizza, quick service, easy location, family-friendly. If you're in Loveland and want pizza from people who care about what they're making, this is the spot.

They don't make a unique slice for each order (like Fat Sully's does). So, if you are picky about your toppings, be prepared to buy an entire pie.

So I come in every Friday for the $5 pizza deal! (And usually every Tuesday for $10 Tuesday) And every Friday I order the exact same pizza! Thin crust, easy (light) sauce, pepperoni! And every Friday I come in at the same time, between 2-3 (store is never busy) rarely is there any customers there when I come in! And every Friday they tell me the same thing! It will take roughly 15-20 minutes until it's ready! When I get there, I am told that I can not get a pizza easy (light) on the sauce. That their pizzas are pre-made! First off, they are making pizzas all day, and I am guessing, but haven't pre-made them for the entire evening! Secondly I come when there is no customers, so not sure why it's so hard while their pre-making pizzas to put one together with light sauce! Third if it's my only choice to get a pre-made pizza, why lie to me and say it's going to take 15-20 minutes to make me a pizza with light sauce! Last week I was told by a the 2 (I've never seen them before) employees if I didn't like what they wanted to sell me, I could go buy my pizza somewhere else! WHAT?????? It appears these employees think it's their franchise! Like I said, I am not asking for a special (light) sauce during a time when their busy! They are making pizzas so their ready for the rush hour, so why they can't simply put light sauce on one of the ones their making is beside me! And now if I don't like it, I should go somewhere else! This particular Papa Murphy's Store seems to hire mostly high-school kids. As long as that mentality, lack of experience, & rude behavior doesn't bother you, then by all means, go for it. If you don't mind being treated like you are bothering them, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a place that declares it's in the right because their most popular pizza was the one they made (even if you ordered something different) , then this place will certainly feed your need to be like everyone else! If you don't mind the time it takes to get them to understand your order, not only after calling but again in the store, then this is your place!! If you would rather someone else choose for you what it is you want, then this Papa Murphy's is your perfect parent! If you don't mind being treated like just another number, you have found your home! I, for one, would much rather be treated as a guest, to have some bit of respect because it's me buying from their store that gives them a paycheck, and to be listened to instead of TOLD OFF. This used to be a good place. Something has changed and now the high school mentality has completely taken over. That's all right, I am sure there are plenty of high school people to keep their business going. I, for one, will not be joining that soap opera, what's most popular is what's best crowd. Served with tons of really good marinara. - And just so you know I lived in NJ for YEARS and am accustomed to NY style pizza so I'm fairly picky when it comes to pizza-ish foods, but this really was really good! I also got a pepperoni roll which was the size of my fist and cheap too. Like less than $2 bucks. It's a pocket of fresh hot baked pizza dough filled to oozing out the sides with ricotta, mozzarella and slices of pepperoni. Really good. I could very easily order just 2 of these, and call it a meal with an ice cold New Belgium beer. Also I got the Cheesy Ram Bread, which are 4 generously sized fresh breadsticks baked golden with tons of melted bubbly mozzarella cheese. As you can tell I ordered a little bit of everything so I could get a fair sense of how good this place really is.... Needless to say I am in a very happy carb coma on my couch right now. And even better yet, I had a $3 off $15 coupon, so this entire meal - which will easily feed me another meal and a snack tomorrow- only cost me $13 bucks and change... Big Thumbs Up!!
