We snagged some late lunch slices on a Monday afternoon (Loveland, CO) for take out. Service was friendly, answered questions & offered suggestions. It's wonderful they offer purchase by the slice. We tried 4 varieties and every one was unique and delicious. We had: Classic NY Pepperoni, Sweet Gino (focaccia crust), Deep dish with cheese and bacon, and the Wiseguy. 3 different crusts with savory toppings and some a hint of sweetness. The deep-dish had the least toppings but the crusty cheese on the bottom of the crust made it delicious! The Wiseguy was really nice (hint of sweetness) and the Sweet Gino tasted reminiscent of Italy and I loved the crunchy focaccia crust. Absolute Yumminess. I heard the pepperoni was tasty also. Unfortunately, I have to rewrite my review of this place after Mike begged and pleaded with the community for us to come back and give him another shot. Decided to order an extra large pizza $40 with tip online since our young son decided he needed to go to sleep early and we didn't want to cook. Pick the pizza up 10 minutes earlier than online told me to come and it was already sitting there waiting 7pm not 7:11. When I got home I realize that 90% of the pizza was burnt. We ordered a half-and-half pizza and the toppings were on five of the six slices. My wife's a vegetarian and doesn't eat meat and the pepperoni was on two of her three slices. I also didn't realize when ordering an extra large pizza. You only get six slices instead of eight you would think that would feed more people. I called the store to see if I could get a refund since I wasn't interested in eating their pizza anymore and was told no I could get a credit instead then they checked with the owner Mike and he didn't even have the decency to come to the phone and say anything to me instead they told me I may see a refund within one day so now I have to figure out what I'm gonna do for dinner and I'm short to pay for that dinner. Again, really appreciate Mike taking the time and the opportunity to speak with an unhappy customer. These guys are the real deal. All the ingredients are of the highest Italian, old-school standards. The use Marzano tomatoes to make their sauce. You can't get more authentic than that. We wanted to add onion to our pizza and we were told they do not add to any pizza it's as on the menu only! Then the pizza we wanted to order was going to take a minimum of 45 minutes to make. It's obvious they just want you to order their premade slices and not order a whole pizza. The pizza was nothing special, way too much sauce. There are no blinds or curtains on the windows so you get blinded by the sun. It is also not really geared for a larger group as we had to move tables to accommodate our group of 7. The flavor is good, the topping/cheese/sauce ratio is good, the crust is good. But I imagine it would be better hot. I ordered delivery and while I understand that will cause some heat loss, it was so cold the cheese had stuck to the box and pulled paper up when I grabbed the first slice. According to the order tracking it was only in-transit for like 10 minutes, so unless it rode on the hood of the driver's car it sat for a while after it was made, as it arrived ahead of the estimated delivery window when ordering. Since you can buy by the slice, and they're not cool with changing up toppings, it's not unlikely that they make the pizzas in large batches and that mine sat for a bit. Being honest I was pretty skeptical about bison on a pizza but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and flavor. The service was great for me too everyone that I met was warm and welcoming. Tried to get food here on Valentine's Day, and I placed an online order an hour before I wanted the food. Came to pick it up and the food was not ready (ok it's a busy day) but then they accidentally burnt the pizza, and they said it would take another 45 minutes to bake a new pizza. We couldn't wait so we asked for a refund instead which they agreed to. We did take the meatballs which were ready (and delicious). However, I called back two times over the next week inquiring about my refund, and was promised it would be taken care of but I never received it. I finally gave up, and I likely won't be back. We love the pizza here. Any of the slices that you choose that are displayed are usually ready pretty quickly. If you order from the menu it takes a bit longer for the food. We have been going regularly for a few weeks now and the food never disappoints. The only downside is the indoor seating is very limited. Once the weather is warmer there will be a good amount with their patio, but sometimes we stand to eat. read more
