When I went to pick up my food at Pizza Street it was very unprofessional. I walked in and could hear a guy screaming profanities. When I got around the corner and was able to see the counter there was an older guy screaming at this kid (his employee) while another kid was standing there as well. When the second kid saw me he was trying to motion to the old guy to quiet down that there was a customer present. There are only a handful of reasons you would ever have to yell at a kid like this, and there is absolutely NO excuse for spewing profanities like he was. If you need to talk to an employee do it in a calm and professional manner. The food was okay and extremely high priced. Don't think we will return. Never want to see that lunatic again. read more

Lack of it for a better word---- not greeted, only 2 guys working here, and well the only reason I came was for the 1.00 pizza rolls on Sunday. I was told by a employee at the place I was staying to check them out so I did. Not to impressed with them.. for someone to open their doors up and be " in the weeds" which means behind in making orders.... not good. I don't know , but these guys are more worried about chatting than putting hand in dough and pizzas to go. Food might be good but not worth the hassle! Placed an order for delivery tonight. They completely messed it up. One of our double deckers was on the wrong sandwich. The other had no lettuce and the wrong cheese. Took over an hour and 45 mins to receive my food and when I got it the pizza wasn't right and completely cold! This business has just re opened last month. They were open years ago, but closed. Which was sad to see them leave. We went there for their belly o sandwiches, which tasted the same as years ago, DELICIOUS!!! The fillings were just right in the sandwiches. You can get a 1/2 of a belly o, or a full order, and there are many different sandwiches to choose from. You can get them hot or cold.This place was clean, and well kept. Food's good, but the service is terrible. Rude employees and you can usually add 20 minutes on to the hour or so waiting time you were told, unless you want to hang around employees that treat you like they're doing you a favor. Have eaten there for years, but no longer after tonight. read more

I don't live in Evans anymore but when I go back I always order the pepperoni rolls, the best item on the menu. If you've never tried the pie before I recommend the spicy chicken ranch or any belly O sandwich. As a former employee from back in my college days I would never hesitate to eat there and support a true local business with an above average product and has employed countless local teens over the years.
