Came to MOD pizza on a recommendation for gluten free pizza. When I arrived I saw that it is more of a fast food pizza place for personal type of pizzas, rather than a mom and pops type of place. They had only once size of gluten free pizza, which was a smaller sized personal pizza. For lactose free options, there was the vegan cheese, that tastes like daiya cheese. I got chicken, onion, and mushroom on my gluten/dairy free pizza as well (See attached picture). When you arrive you can order by application or at the counter. Then you wait at the table and pick up your order and bring it to your table or to-go if you want. Serve yourself. The gluten free crust tasted slightly better than the ones I typically have tried at other pizza places because it was a bit softer and sweeter tasting. The cheese was exactly like daiya cheese, which is ok, but I really don't care for it. It would be nice if restaurants started using lactose free (real) cheese that you can buy from any food distributor. The onion on my pizza could have been cut smaller and thinner, in rings from a mandolin, rather than chunks/pieces of onions. The price wasn't too bad either, but what else would you expect to pay for a small fast food pizza where you serve yourself? The attitudes of the staff were different. One person acted like they didn't want to chat, while another staff member was really nice and helpful. I gave this place 3 stars because it is nice to come to for a "quick" pizza, but not great enough to where I want to sit down for a quality family dinner. Things would be better if I could get a bigger gluten free pizza with real lactose free cheese, such as "Cabot" brand cheese, who makes a lot of their real cheeses without lactose. I suggest that you try out MOD pizza, but know what to expect before you get there. read more

Amazing customer service!! MOD pizza was delicious and amazingly helpful! I tried ordering online (through my computer google chrome) and I came across an issue with the payment option. I had a gift card and I was going to pay the remaining funds with a credit card. The computer system would not recognize the gift card as a method of payment. I ended up calling the location. The employee I talked to was so incredibly helpful and very apologetic! She was able to take my order over the phone and still have it ready to pick up and hour later (I placed the order around 545pm and was able to pick up at 715pm). She also offered me a discount for the inconvenience. She said I could arrive at 715pm and use the gift card and the credit card. When we arrived the business had a lot of safety measures in place because of COVID. It made me feel better. We got our pizza and was in and out within minutes! Such friendly and kind service!!! The pizza was delicious! We got a Maddy (cheese pizza) and a Mad Dog (cheese pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and ground beef). I didn't get photos of the pizza (we were starving) but I do highly recommend them! I can't wait to go back!! read more

We stopped at this location while doing some shopping in Greeley. It was Sunday, and there was a long line out to the door. This is a build-your-own pizza place and they do it very well. The prices are very reasonable for what you get and the ingredients are pretty fresh. There are so many toppings, you might have trouble choosing what you want. The possibilities are endless, from sauce, to garnishes, cheeses, and toppings. Pretty fun! On this visit, the staff seemed pretty disorganized and slow moving. I don't know how long they have been in business here, so it might just be the pains of starting out and getting in the flow. I love the pizza and the cheesy bread! I got my standard pepperoni, sausage, and pineapple...yum! There is pretty limited seating at this location and we had to stand for a minute, waiting for a table to open. I was surprised at the lack of decoration they have in the dining area, but it was reasonably clean and well stocked. We would come here again if we were in the area and would recommend coming to MOD if you haven't tried their pizza before. It is a good experience and it won't hurt your wallet. read more

Delicious pizza!!! Their gluten free crust is amazing. Though if you are celiac or highly allergic to gluten, I would say to go to their restaurant early and have them make your pizza as one of the first of the day. This way it has no cross-contamination with the gluten crust when it's the first one into the oven. read more

They completely left out the strawberries on the Strawberry Summer Salad; not a one! With much effort, found some Gorgonzola. Very poor salad for a place that promotes their salads as well as pizza. Something about the simple complexity of this place is where my boys enjoy to go. It's really not too shabby. I got dinner here Friday night, ordered curb side but ended up having to go in as milkshakes were ordered and it's always a thing. Doesn't matter, what does matter is they forgot one of the pizzas for a pizza salad. Not ideal. I didn't realize until I got home so we made do but I still called to provide the feedback. Unsurprisingly they offered to refund that portion of the meal, which I thought was fair enough, said my thanks and put it out of my mind. The next morning, I got an apology from the manager in my email stating the entire bill had been forgiven. That's how it's done right there, and that should be the core of Customer Service 101. This place is great! The kids that work here are always friendly and seem to be having a good time - even though they are busy, as this place is usually packed. The quality of Mod's ingredients is impressive, especially with the wide selection of toppings. Asparagus and broccoli make delicious pizza toppings! You can easily get your fill of toppings if you're on the trend of avoiding carbs (even though their crust is delicious). They also have a selection of teas and lemonade that are brewed in-house that are unique and tasty. As a truck driver, I visit friends around the country when I'm nearby and ask them to take me to the good places around the area. I was in Greeley all weekend and my buddy took me to Mod Pizza. I had never heard of it before, but when he described it as the Subway of pizza parlors I was intrigued. The restaurant was nicely set up and had a patio that I didn't take advantage of in below 32 degree weather. The pizza was awesome, but I didn't know all the options so I went with the "Mad Dog". I didn't want to hold up the line, but I got creative with the cheeses. The pizza was awesome, so was the staff, and so was the visit. Hopefully I'll find myself nearly Greeley again or this place opens more stores in the east, because we don't have anything like this in Tennessee. read more

We went here tonight with a friend. It was delicious and there's so many options; you could easily visit every day for a long time before having to repeat your order. It's also super fun since it's a build-your-own concept, so you can fully create the custom pizza of your dreams, though they do have options for the indecisive among us with a pre-selected combo. The staff was super friendly and I can't stop raving about the pizza. The shakes are really good, too. Love this concept of build your own pizza. You walk in and go down an assembly line of choosing pie size and toppings then pay at the end. If you're indecisive like me, you can choose one of their already decided pizza options and add from there! I selected the Tristan and added red sauce, spicy sausage, and garlic. I was most impressed by the staff's knowledge of the menu as well as their efficiency. There are probably 10+ pizzas on the menu and when I ordered the Tristan, they knew exactly which toppings when on it without a blink of an eye! Mod pizza is a great value. The product itself is pretty good quality for a quickly made "factory line" pizza, where the toppings are wildly variable. Love the customization (and my kids do too), and that I can customize a salad if I am trying to make the right choices from a health standpoint. The one sore spot with this location is that sometimes you cannot go here because the parking is awful. Too many in-demand restaurants sharing one small parking lot. read more
