Road trip to Kersey, CO for a class and look what I found for lunch. At first glance it looked like a type of storage area and then I saw a sign that said pizza. Yep, here I go. As I walked in on the right side was a large kitchen area with employees hussling and this is where you order. Straight ahead was an open area concept for dining. The open area reminds me of a type of rented hall like B-I-N-G-O. I'm standing at the counter and an employee asked if he could help me. I told him it was the first time here and he showed me the menu and offered a few suggestions. One thing caught my attention for sure. He said you can order cream cheese on any pizza. I was like "shut the front door, what?" I guess its a real thing now. He said most peeps just have the cream cheese added to the top of the pizza like a topping. I added the cream cheese in place of the red sauce and then added shredded cheese and pepponi on top. He was like oh okay, cool. I was so excited to see and taste this original pizza I created. But, I'm still waiting and waiting. They were busy and I understand, then I see the pizza coming out. It looked so fresh, appealing and ready to indulge. The pizza was not disappointing at all. WOW! I absolutely the cream cheese on this pizza. So flavorable and inviting. It was a perfectly shaped, cooked pizza. Thank you for recommending this topping. I know why they are busy now. Great food . They also offer gluten free crust for pizza which was amazing as well. I definitely recommend this pizzeria and try the cream cheese as a topping or sauce. Good pizza, fair wings, very busy, inattentive staff. After a very long day of birdwatching, we stopped in at Kersey Pizza and ordered a pizza and some wings. No, you can't get thin crust. No, we can't make the pizza well-done. No, you can't have the sauce for the wings on the side. We got our number and sat down 20 feet from the counter. Oh, well... The people who came in after us got their food and finished, then asked us what we had ordered, since it must have been something special to take so long. I went up to the counter to check. "Your carry-out order has been ready since 10 minutes after you called." "We didn't call - you took our order yourself, a half-hour ago, and we've been sitting right there ever since." Not your typical pizza joint. I was kind of surprised when I walked through the door. Big open room with concrete flooring. There's a pool table, air hockey table, some pinball machines and kind of a skee ball machine that ate my .50 with no opportunity to play! It all looked a little run down. Kitchen is almost completely open to dining area, which isn't a bad thing just trying to give a visual of the place. I ordered a couple pizzas to go and the gal behind the counter was basically there just existing. No greeting. I was the one to greet her and ask how she was doing. Food was okay, nothing to write home about. I ordered a cheese pizza, pizza deluxe with pepperoni and sausage and a Philly cheese steak. While it was good it definitely wasn't worth $60!!! I really hate how they set up pay machines to ask for a tip! I wasn't really paying attention and hit the stupid 15%! On take out??!! Never! Where do I start? From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff in a clean environment. We placedour order, which was a couple of specialty pizzas, and they were ready quicker than we thought. They were cooked to our liking, cheese was melted perfectly and every ingredient was great. We have always had very good experience with Kersey Pizza. Today Brenda took the order for two calzones ( pizza pocket ). She informed me that it will take a while since there area couple of orders before me. She did not give me number with stand. When asked she said she will call out my name. We noticed that those who came after us were served pizza. We waited for 45 minutes and finally Brenda brings out two calzones in two separate boxes. When I told her that we are dining here and she replied that I did not inform her earlier. I reminded her that she did not ask and did not give me a number stand even though I had reminded her for one. Well. Grumbling she brought the calzones on serving plates. The calzones were baked very well but there was hardly any sign of mozzarella cheese. Also, it was loaded with jalapeno; we could hardly see any other toppings other than sausage. I informed Alicia ( part owner ) about these discrepancies and she made excuses for the staff but also said that she will have a talk with them. I really enjoy their single slice pizzas, sometimes they're consistent on how they make it sometimes they're not but I'm never disappointed. And now they've added Cannoli Cake and Lava Cake that is so amazing, a great choice if you want something different. read more

I was recommended to try this place by my husband, who is a truck driver. During a trip I joined him on, we decided to give it a try, and I'm glad we did. The food was fantastic! We ordered a pepperoni pizza, a white slice pizza, and a chicken bacon and cream cheese dish, and everything was delicious. We'll definitely be stopping by again when we're in the area. They offered us free chips or ice cream or more soda. we said no thanks. finally got our food 13 minutes later and after 1 bite, it was cold. Great bang for your buck. Largely consistently good. Because of its proximity to Greeley, they get a whole star for consistency alone. A bit pedestrian, but good at a minimum, prices are good, and so are portions. That said, if you like chicken, bacon, and ranch AT ALL, get the chicken Calzone, it is much better than the sum of its parts and COMPLETELY worth a drive from Greeley. read more

The pizza is a family fav, and the large feeds 2 adults and 2 kids with leftovers. The subs are great also. Fresh ingredients and good tasting sauce. Today, I ordered and waited at least 20 min maybe 30 min with no food. During this time the employees were coming out saying hi to friends and hugging them. I finally asked where my food as I been waiting and they had to find the order. The paper with the order was on the ground so it was lost. They wanted me wait again for food but i could not any more. I asked for my money back but they would not give me my tip back which I think is competently wrong. They should have given me my money back and a comp meal or at least all my money back. I was in Kersey for a my daughter's horse show this past weekend and decided to take them to lunch. Kersey, being a small town does not have much to offer in the way of variety, but we did come across the pizza place in town. Kersey Pizza isn't just a pizza place, they also make several subs. In fact, I'd venture to say the subs are better than the pizza. The pizza itself was pretty bland and the crust reminded me of cardboard, with very little flavor. we ordered the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken pizza, which may have been our mistake as the chicken tasted very processed. Service here was about as good as you would expect from a pizza place. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had. The friendly staff even brought our order to our table once it was ready. read more

The food is pretty good here. I like the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with jalapenos or the nachos. The pizza is also good too. The crust is nice and soft and they don't go overboard with the cheese. The dining room is always very clean and the service is good. We live close by, so I like to get carry-out orders. The dining room is awfully crowded on the weekends. I like that there is a pool table and old arcade style video games that I remember playing as a kid. That bit of nostalgia adds to the funkiness and small town feel of the place. Honestly the only reason I continue to eat here is because I work in the oil and gas industry and there really isn't anywhere else, and most of the time someone else went there and offered me a slice. I have only gone there one time and ordered a calzone and I watched the girls in the kitchen take the calzone out of the oven and stick it in the microwave. Ruined. It was now soggy and gross.
