They also have a creative slice of the day and customizable personal and full size pizzas. This is the kind of place that makes the pizzas and keeps the slices warm. I'll split this into two parts, taste & price. The Hawaiian BBQ pizza was the featured pizza, so my wife and I each ordered a slice. Yum! Totally delicious, and I generally don't even like pineapple. On this pizza, it worked well. My other slice was Supreme; it wasn't nearly as good. Part of the problem could be that it sat too long. My wife had Pepperoni and said it was "just okay" and that it was "kind of rubbery". About price: no prices were posted on the chalkboard menu, so we literally had no idea what anything cost. We assumed, incorrectly, that the pizza of the day (Hawaiian BBQ) would be offered at a discount. I also must push back against the "tip before service" model. Fear of what might happen if I didn't pay a preemptive tip made me write one in. Fear should not be a factor when dining out, and a tip should always be a reward for good service. read more

I've been a few times and I will say that The Lox, if you are lucky enough to get staff who are aware it is one of their menu items, is especially tasty. The service makes it one of those places you have to mentally prepare for before going. The staff don't know their menu, so you'll need to point to what you want to order. Expect a 45+ minute wait for a thin crust personal pizza. Don't expect clean tables or chairs. Which makes me avoid going in because if I see that I start questioning the cleanliness of the kitchen and second guess my choice to eat there. Trying to place an order ahead by phone is problematic. It takes several tries to reach someone (even if it's not busy). The staff don't know their menu so unless it's a premade slice of pepperoni or cheese, it'll take some convincing to get the individual to have a look at their menu. Don't give up though, because unless you've got no where to be for quite a while, you'll definitely want to call ahead. read more

Late last night, my spouse and I needed a very late dinner and Slice 'N Roll was open. We'd been meaning to check it out for a while so my spouse called and placed our order. A lot of the time when I get pizza, it's drowning in sauce so I order light sauce, which I did this time but my spouse didn't and their regular sauce looks pretty good. We both got build your own personal pizzas. I got feta as my main cheese, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, and artichoke hearts. My spouse got ham, mushrooms, and black olives. I wouldn't order my toppings together again but it was good and we'd like to try it another time. My only knock would be the edges of the crust were pretty burned. read more

But the wait from the ordering to receiving food was as slow as a snail's pace, we ordered before a rush happened and ended up getting our food after the rush ended and the bar cleared, and once food came out; it started out piping hot & within minutes became a cold, rubbery pizza pie. I ordered the Chicken Pesto personal pan pizza & Cheese Bread as an appetizer. And personally; the pizza was mid as it comes. And the cheese bread was dripping in grease. Met this great couple when i was talking about ordering pizza for my staff with my bartender. They said not to try the place i wanted and try them. I left them my number and didnt expect anything more. Today at 530 they showed up to our restaurant with two extra large pizzas and two specialties. Let me tell you something!!!! This place is so cool! With there being so much in downtown Loveland, I never know what to try, but I'm definitely glad I came here! The drinks are amazing. I had their margarita and the "oh! she salty" on their drink menu. Both were very good but I had 2 of the latter, so do with that what you will. The girls bartending were super sweet as well. There was an issue with my pizza (the size as well as toppings) but they cleared it up asap and it was well worth the wait! Being from the Chicagoland area, I've had a really difficult time here in Colorado finding a pizza place I genuinely enjoy. This is hands down my favorite so far! Not too saucy, great crust, and honestly pretty greasy but in the best way. Not sure what the issue is here. I've come here three times and every time I've been completely ignored by the bartender. The first time I was patient and when I was finally acknowledged I ordered a beer and a slice of pepperoni. The third time was my last as the food was meh and the service was unfriendly. My opinion of the food is it's pretty ordinary and boring, much like the ambience and music selection. I wanted pizza for lunch, and since we were on 4th St. in Loveland, this place was very convenient. My dining companion noted that there seemed to be more beer choices than pizza choices, and I got the feeling that this is place where young people can go, have a beer, have a slice, and watch football on multiple TV screens. As for the pizza, and I am a NY pizza snob, I had a Supreme slice. (When I asked the guy who took my order whether they had roasted red pepper, he looked rather confused and said they had "bell pepper." In fact, the Supreme slice had bits of yellow pepper on it.) Aside from the toppings, the pizza was tasteless. The dough didn't taste like anything, and there didn't appear to be any herbs, such as garlic or oregano, anywhere on it. The tomato sauce didn't yell "tomato" either. The crust was suitably thin and the slice was greasy - two attributes of NY pizza. And it was a very large slice (for $5). Will I be back? "No." I would head out of downtown to Arte Pizzeria. read more
