A lot of cafes in and around the greater Asheville area have a similar vibe. Small, hip, no frills, friendly and welcoming. You'll notice all the framed rave reviews on the wall inside and the website boasts its 16 year reign as #1 restaurant in Brevard, and the menu definitely lives up. We started with the Bavarian Pretzel (which was actually recommended to us by the server at the chocolate shop across the alleyway.) It was very much the right way to go. The pretzel is adorned with several meats, slices of cheese, picked veggies (the pickled okra is amazing!) and some dipping sauces. You could come just for this, a few drinks and maybe another app and have a wonderful time! However you'd miss the delicious entrees. I got the Brunswick stew which was heavenly. My son loved his cedar plank salmon, said it was one of this favorite salmon preps he's ever had. The ambiance on the patio was pleasant with the hanging plants. The restaurant feels like a hidden gem as you have to travel one of the side alleys to find it. But locals seem to have no problem finding their award winning fave. If you're visiting town, this restaurant is definitely a winner. Plus there are some great shops to stroll nearby before or after.

For dinner I had the southwest blackened chicken Cobb salad which was very good as well. Prices were a little up there, but not too crazy. The restaurant was nicely appointed, comfortable and they have a separate room for their bar.

Never been so happy to be "hustled" in my life! First of…read moreall, I have to thank my daughter Lauren for turning me on to this place! She RAVED about it a few weeks ago and loved it so much she did a Google review on it! I have to say she was "DEAD ON" with her review! ( Go look at Google Reviews if you want to read it). As I am a native New Orleanian it's hard to impress me when it comes to food in general. I am extremely particular about most food I eat, and chicken wings are no exception. Too many people think that when you're from New Orleans everything you eat has to be loaded with cayenne pepper or salt. (They're completely wrong by the way, but that's a story for another day)... Anyway, even with Lauren's recommendation of the place I wasn't expecting a whole lot. At best I thought that they might have some flavorful chicken; I was also hoping that it wouldn't be dry. In short, this place blew me away! They have taken great care to create sauces that tease and delight your pallet, from slightly sweet blends, to burn the lips off your body (if you like that sort of thing), ! Seriously, there is something for EVERYONE here! I had a couple of different types of wings. I love sauces, but I'm a big fan of dry rubs as well. The lemon pepper here is better than any. I've tasted anywhere! I also had the Poppin Cherry wings, which if I'm gonna be honest, I thought it might've been way too sweet for my pallet, but surprise! They would just right, sweet with a nice kick at the end! I also had the Jammin jerk which reminded me of the Caribbean. The Peach knockout wings fooled me, because although they started off tasting somewhat sweet, but as soon as you got a good bite the heat hit you back of your throat! All in all, I think I tried six different sauces and one dry rub. None of them disappointed as evidenced by the pictures below. In addition, they have to be some of the sweetest people above that since I've been here in North Carolina. The host is wonderful, and she even gave us some advice on other places to try while we're here. I also got a chance to meet the chef, and it's clear that he loves what he does as evidenced by the way his food tastes and the way he talks about it. I love me some people that love what they do, and this young man does! As we speak, I'm on my way back to Hustle to get hustled again! Don't miss out on the spot, especially for you locals! Oh, I almost You be doing yourself a grave disservice if you don't go, try it!

The first thing I noticed was that you order at the register and then to the end of that counter you have the drink station and the condiments and all that other good stuff. The menu had a small but good variety of options. There were shareables, tenders, smash burgers, chicken wraps/sandwiches, and wings. I decided to go with the wrap and got the Asian chicken wrap. My mom and I sat down and the food was out in 10 minutes. My wrap was warm and pretty flavorful I would say. The chicken was grilled in a sweet sauce that kind of tasted like teriyaki, and it came with lettuce and tomato in it. As my side I decided to give the Mac and Cheese a try. I would say that the mac and cheese wasn't too impressive but it also did surprise me because it wasnt like your average bright yellow mac and cheese. So I would definitely try out another side when I get to come back here. Overall I enjoyed my visit at hustle wings. The service was good, the food was good. If you're in the area and want to try something new give this place a try.

I'm not sure the restaurant could help much with that though. Our waitress was super fast, attentive, and friendly. We had a TON of questions about the menu, and she was patient and friendly while answering them. Our food came out impressively fast and she made sure we had drinks filled. We ordered the cheesy bacon grit balls, and my fiance was a little nervous since he's not a fan of grits. They were absolutely fantastic, and we both liked them! Them! They had a rich cheesy flavor with very slight hint of bacon. They were smooth and creamy and deep fried to perfection. The glaze on top was a great touch as well to cut some of the richness. David ordered the Flat Rock Panino, and he was really pleased with the flavors. For me personally, I thought the pizza shell they used to form the sandwich was pretty hard, almost cracker-like. Not seem to mind though. The chips that came with it were unimpressive and not super crisp. We were really disappointed because we wanted to try their signature Burger, but it was not available that night. I ordered their special of the brisket ends. They were fantastic. The sauce was great, and they truly melted in my mouth. They were so tender! I thought the onion straws were great as well. I was a little disappointed with the corn because it wasn't what I was expecting. I'm not a huge fan of peppers, and that was the predominant flavor since it had red and green peppers mixed in it. The cornbread was good, but it was much closer to a cake texture. Overall, I think we would definitely go back! It was a fun atmosphere with friendly people and food that left us smiling and full.

We ordered their Thursday night pizza specials, both of them. The veggie pizza was delicious - a great blend of flavors with the heirloom tomatoes, pesto, goat cheese, and drizzled with a balsamic glaze of sorts - totally dreaming of another bite ! The pulled pork pizza, not so much. My S/O saying, the bbq sauce was just a bit too sweet needing something to jazz it more.
