It's a locals joint not fancy but adequate. Friendly helpful staff and a nice menu. Good offerings with indoor and outdoor seating. When a place specializes in wings you order wings. You'll agonize over whether wet or dry and which to choose. Save the sandwich or burger order for another time. The wings were excellent served with celery and carrots with either ranch or blue cheese dressing.

So many choices. I choose Poppin' Cherry and fried pickles

Fried pickles were really good, light batter, but not served with a sauce. Wings, humm, tasted like double fried, sauce was poured over them in the tray, not shaken for full coverage. I would suggest if you're going to do it that way to put the sauce on the side that way you can dip in it. Massive sauce choices. And pretty busy, alot of take out orders. Overall good, but

I went on the Fourth of July and went pretty out of my way to come here after seeing their menu/researching a place in the mountains. Was it worth the drive? Side note - I've had horrible luck with mountain food. Pros: - Dog Friendly Patio. I sat here with my dog and it was very enjoyable. There was a lot of space for her to walk around and it was shockingly cool for the Fourth. - Menu. I love the menu because I'm a chicken lover. This place hit that. - Food was fresh. Everything was fresh and hot. Nothing tasted frozen. - The absolute BEST Blue Cheese sauce I've ever had in my life. It officially ruined any other blue cheese for me. Cons: - None So yeah this place rocks. We started with the loaded mac and cheese. This was very different, but in a pleasant way. I've never had mac/cheese like this but it was tasty. The pulled chicken on top was delicious. Possibly the best pulled chicken I've had. The main was a spicy fried chicken sandwich with mango/habanero sauce. The chicken was pounded thin and I liked that. All the components of the sandwich rocked. Also, their fries were really good. My wife got the wings with fries. Now, I'm not a wing guy...I'm more of a chicken strip/sandwich guy. She got 5 Pesto wings and 5 Buffalo. They looked like they could be in a wing magazine or something. She said they were a 5/5 seal of approval. This place was worth the extra miles on the drive. I really, really enjoyed my food and I didn't feel bad after eating it because everything tasted fresh and of high quality. Definitely, my favorite wing/chicken place.

Big Papa mac and cheese. Just not good.

It's just not good. What else can I say? This is my third visit here, thought I would give it one more try. Today I tried the Big Papa mac & cheese. It wasn't even mac & cheese, it was ziti! The chicken had no flavor. The sauce wasn't creamy. Sadly, the jalapeno slices were the best part. I won't be back.

So glad to have a good food option out this way! The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, full of good info for ordering. The inside is adorable with these amazing slab and barrel tables . We didn't care for the music going back and forth between country and rap, but that's just our preference. We did takeout anyway! The wings and tenders were on point. Loved the sauces! The house pickles were delightful and full of flavor. They know what they're doing! We will definitely return.

Chicken sandwich and sauces are good, but I was charged $1.50 for "TOGO PACKAGING!" I've never been charged for to go containers. I ordered one sandwich and was charged over 10% for a box and a sauce container. I can't support this type of behavior so I won't be going back anymore.

A BIG Shout Out to Hustle Wings Co in Horse Shoe! Today our first time at Hustle Wing Co, located at 3754 Brevard Rd, Horse Shoe, NC. We went there for lunch. Located not far from Hendersonville and the Laurel Park area. M-Tues 11-8 Wed 11-9 Thurs 11-8 Fri- Sat 11-9 Sun Closed We love wings! We were impressed with their menu selections. Everything is made from scratch! I love that they put the descriptions of the 24 varieties of wings sauces and rubs. (They will also give you a sample of the sauces if you are unsure of the flavor and hotness). Their Bleu Cheese Sauce is delicious, thick and filled with chucks of Bleu cheese. The ranch sauce is tasty too! Their chicken wings are large in size, smoked and then quickly fried to a juicy and crispy perfection! We didn't order their burgers this time but we sat on their patio and chatted with a regular customer of theirs...a great guy named Terry. Terry had ordered their DOUBLE smash burger and it looked incredible! Using a knife and fork May be required, unless you can unhinge your jaw wide enough to accommodate the double burger! His fries looked great too. Terry says he eats there quite often. He also has a real cool Harley! Terry was a very nice and caring guy. He brought us over hand wipes. We had extra napkins on our table, a couple of times they started to blow away, so he got up and brought over something to weigh them down. Terry was opening the door for people who entered the restaurant from the side porch, greeting all customers as they came in.... and he doesn't even work there! How incredibly nice is that! He's just a super nice guy who really loves people, appreciates great food..and he loves this restaurant. He's a great promoter for this restaurant! We really enjoyed him. But back to his Smash Burger...we will definitely put their smash burgers on our list to try the next time. And there will be plenty of next times! I ordered their a small side of Fried Pickles with Ranch Sauce and the Mediterranean Wings. I expected the wings to be the usual breaded and fried pickle coins.... but, no sir'ee. These were breaded Pickle SPEARS! Their Mediterranean Wing Sauce is medium- heat and was so flavorful with Feta, Olives and Mediterranean spices. Yum-mo! My hubby, Terry Bozon tried their wings with Nacho Mama Wing Sauce which is a Roasted Garlic Cheese Sauce. He also a small side of Cucumber Salad with Tomatoes and Red Onions. WOW, that looked so good! He said both were delicious. Hustle Wings is much more than just chicken wings! They also had appetizers, sandwiches, wraps, large salads, chicken tenders, vegan and gluten-free options, desserts and a kids menu! Did I mention that they have a variety of 24 wing sauces and 24 dry rubs/toppings? Well....they have a variety of 24 wing sauces and 24 dry rubs/toppings! $6 wings with 1 sauce was only $9! Their small side choices: $4! Yes, I know, right! Generous amounts, reasonably priced and delicious. Made from scratch, guys! The owners of Hustle Wings are so nice and welcoming! Ready to answer your questions, they really care about their quality of food and their customers. They want to make you happy. We also had the pleasure of meeting their daughter JuJu and found out their food truck, JuJu Smash Burgers was named after her. How cool is that! They also cater! We will definitely be returning to Hustle Wings Co! We were very impressed with this restaurant, their food, the owners, JuJu... and also Terry!

Pattaya and Chili infused Java sauces.

We have a new favorite restaurant ya'll, seriously. This is our second time, the first time was takeout. We loved the fried pickles, they are spears and full of flavor. The breading is great and doesn't take away the taste of the pickle. This trip we tried the fries, the are crispy and have a great seasoning. Each time we got the tenders basket, great crunchy breading and the chicken is done perfectly, not dried out at all. But the sauces, Lord, the sauces. THEY LET YOU SAMPLE WHATEVER YOU WANT!!! It's a sauce flight!! Boom! All of them are incredibly flavorful and truly epic. So far we have tried Poppin Cherry, Stimulation, Pattaya, Mediterranean (chunks of olives and feta), and Chili infused Java (yes, you can take the coffee). They have a parking lot which makes it easy. You order at the counter and they bring the food to the table. The staff is really friendly. They have 3 dining areas, one of which is outside but covered (can't wait to bring our cat during warmer weather). There are video and claw game machines in another section.

Wow! this place is amazing!! Stopped by for lunch today with my hubby, and they did not disappoint!! Best chicken wings in NC! They have so many amazing flavors and the smash burger was on point!! The staff is super friendly, the restaurant has fun games and amazing decor, very clean! I can't wait to go back!

Our order for this new place. Can't wait to try new wings!

It's a bit of a drive from the N Rigby entrance to the the cookhouse but a beautiful ride with green fields and a stunning view of Mt. Pisgah. We were greeted by a hostess who brought us to the porch in the rear. The first thing I noticed was the sound of many voices to both sides. It was more obvious upon entering that there were multiple groups seated at both sides along community tables. We were seated in the middle of the table to the right and chose to sit across from each other. Our server, Kara, was pleasant and helpful. We ordered from the brunch menu we were given by the hostess. I ordered the scrambled egg bowl and enjoyed the best tasting egg flavor I've had in a long time. The greens, pickled onions, feta cheese and other vegetables complimented the dish perfectly. My partner wasn't sure about ground lamb ( since there are several renditions of it) but took a chance with the lamb burger and was glad she did. The fries that came with it we shared; they were crispy as we like them. She ordered a virgin bloody Mary and enjoyed it. That said the Worcestershire sauce flavor was quite pronounced and it might not be to everyone's liking. We have had several lunches and brunches over the last several days and this was the least $. I think we adjusted to the sound level after a few minutes and did strike up a conversation with some folks who came in after we did and sat nearby.

The atmosphere is cozy, low-lit, and perfect for date night, a celebration, or honestly just when you want a really good meal with phenomenal service. It's not huge, and judging by how packed it was when we arrived, I'd definitely recommend reservations. We had one of the later seating times near closing, but the place was still buzzing. There's even a second room with a gorgeous long bar that gives off upscale neighborhood hangout vibes. Service was flawless from the start. We were seated immediately and had water in our glasses within minutes. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and somehow had us in and out in about 40 minutes without ever making us feel rushed. That's an art form. Drink-wise, my boyfriend was happy to find some local beers after our brewery-hopping adventure earlier in the day. I ordered a cocktail that sounded good and asked if they could make it spicy... maybe throw in some jalapeños or something. They didn't just accommodate, they elevated. They swapped in a spicy-infused spirit, and it paired perfectly with my wood-fired roasted corn pizza topped with cilantro and jalapeño crema. Absolute flavor bomb that paired perfectly! My boyfriend's meatloaf with mushrooms and mashed potatoes was equally impressive. No notes, just clean plates. We started with the ceviche, and it was outstanding. Fresh, bright, and so flavorful that we started dipping our homemade pita into it. Speaking of the pita, that was honestly my only minor miss (and it wasn't even a miss lol). As a carb enthusiast, I wanted a little more salt and flavor, but that's nitpicking in what was otherwise an exceptional meal. Hearth & Herron is the kind of place every small town wishes it had. Thoughtful food, top-notch service, and an atmosphere that punches way above its weight class. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in Hendersonville and recommend you do the same!

In the kitchen, the husband was cooking up a storm, making sandwiches as fast as he could. Cincinnati, St. Croix, and Mexico city are represented. In general, the restaurant has a great feel. I order one of their versions of a reuben, they had a few different takes, this one seems the most like a classic. It was delicious, great decision. Good amount of meat, kraut, tasty dressing, nicely buttered and grilled rye. I opted for the slight upcharge and got fries with my sandwich, they were nicely crisp on the outside and very tasty. Because of how busy they are it was difficult to get a drink refill on this hot day, but I helped myself to one, and that was fine. I have no way of knowing currently the state of affairs at this business, because downtown Hendersonville saw a large amount of flooding. I hope that they escaped great peril, or if they had damage, are able to recover and re-open quickly as the area digs itself out. #WNCStrong
