It has been many years since the last time I had a pizza from Papa John's. I always remember it as being good but a bit pricey. So a friend reminded me there was 50% off on Mondays and I decided to get a pie. I had a large The Works pizza which had the usual meat and veggies on it. It was ready within 15-20 mins after I placed the order online. That was fast. That's like the only good thing. I was pretty disappointed with the pizza. It was just not very tasty. I could not tell the difference between this and those frozen pizzas. I doubt I will get any pizza from Papa John in future. The price with the 50% off is very good though. It had been awhile since I ordered Papa John's, we made our own medium pizza with onion, cheese, jalapenos and also got their garlic knots which taste so good with their creamy garlic dip. Of course, the star is always their garlic butter. If you order it on Uber Eats, all of that comes to around $28 which is pretty affordable for 2 people. Their pizza was pretty fresh. read more

My husband and I always order from here usually have no problem. We always do it over phone my husband clearly said spinach Alfredo delight. We got a garden fresh pizza called to complain and they could not find the number at first then lady called my husband wrong name. They said they would give us a free Alfredo or $5 off next one. Our volleyball teams have big orders when we get delivery. We did a 12 pizza pick up order back in June which went well. We just tried a 9 pizza delivery order which went even better. Our players loved the online ordering. Creating their own pizzas. Phoned the establishment to confirm the delivery as we ordered well in advance. Everything ran smoothly and the pizzas were delivered on time. After speaking with them, I felt confident everything would be as requested. Which is not always the case with some places. In the past we have been left high and dry waiting with hungry and disappointed volleyball players. As a bonus to the service, Papa John's pizzas are good. Better than others. This order featured large pizza's with 4 toppings each. The players (aged 12-14) loved comparing which pies were the best. Price was good as the order fed 24 people for $130, with slices to spare. After trying four other establishments over the years, we have finally found our go to pizza place for this part of town. read more

Uhmmm pizza...uhmmm...online ordering pizza...haha I always order at Papa John's as 1) Its close to home. 2) Online ordering cuz I'm lazy. 3) its delicious. First off I've never had to speak to anyone, but I can safely say their online ordering system is very polite and timely. All their specials are online and you can add whatever toppings you like and it all calculates it out for you. Though one time I did add an extra topping and they neglected to put it on though I got charged. I will have to get that free next time. They got a negative star from me for that. I dig their pizzas. Plenty of toppings and cheese, they don't skimp out with little pieces of meat masquerading as a topping like at Pizza Hut. I think 4 slices of a medium pizza and I'm done. And they've got some pretty decent chicken wings to boot. Yummay! SERVICE: Online order. Driver's are fast & friendly arriving with your hot pizzas. PRICE: I'd say they are the cheapest, but they aren't expensive either if you go with their specials. 3 mediums of any of their listed pizzas for 35.99 isn't bad. I like Papa Johns. The service is excellent (run by a nice Chinese or Viet family), and the pizza choices are really tasty. What I love the most is that they offer the healthy "thin crust" option. Super Great Pizza on Vanness Avenue (opposite the Joyce-Collingwood SkyTrain station) is the closest competitor, and their pizza is too greasy and doughy (but some like that, and the amount of cheese on the pizza makes its a great value). The only beef I have with Papa Johns is that their jerk-piece of poo CFO has cut many of his staff's hours in the USA as a childish response to the implementation of "Obama-Care". Once again, not the most stellar Pizza, however, this is one of the closest to us, therefore, by default we choose this place. I don't think this is a bad place but they simply ignored me when I contacted them about the poor quality of my order. I posted a picture (I removed the pieces so you could accurately see the shapes I was dealing with). I'd ordered it square cut and instead they mistakingly cut regular and then square over top which resulted in a jigsaw puzzle. I get that people make mistakes, but my decision to return is based on how you treat your customers after the fact. And Since both the food and service was poor, I will not be back. read more

Finally tried this place since I ordered the Entertainment coupon book. Ordered 2 large specialty pizzas and am order of cheesesticks. With the coupon it came to 30 bucks. Delicious. The pizzas both came with a sauce each which was nice and they also put a hot pepper on the side which was quite nice. And I always do the weight test and it passed. I would rate Papa John 9 out if 10. Better than Dominos, Panago and Pizza Hut. Give it a try, they have specials. Why not? Enjoy. read more

I had a papa johns pizza once years ago, and it didn't seem that memorable. But this time, it ended up being one of the best pizza's I'd had in awhile! Now we come here pretty regularly. Everyone who works here is super nice and helpful. I had a kind of pain in the a** request last time, and they totally delivered! No pun intended! The dough they use is fantastic too, much like that of one you'd find in a higher end pizzeria restaurant. Every time we get pizza here we are so happy with the quality.
