Crust was thin and perfectly cooked, edges were thick and doughy. Mozzarella cheese was generous and sausage was really, really good. There were other toppings, but frankly, I can't remember what they were. I was mesmerized with the crust and cheese. Pizza sauce was thin, the way I like it. Our waitress, Sam, was great. Very attentive and always giving us updates as to when the pizza would come out. Now, pay attention... the place is very busy. We waited 40 minutes for our pizza on a Friday night so be patient. Parking is at a premium. Suggest you park across the street at the vacant gas station. Highly recommend without any reservations. Go early and enjoy the action. PS - Decor ... very cool pictures and posters all over the place. Mostly of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. Walls were covered with classics.

Just Hamburgers: Just okay…read more.. My cousin and I dropped by Just Hamburgers for a late lunch, lured in by the name and the promise of--well, hamburgers. Naturally, we expected a lineup of mouthwatering burger options. Plot twist: the menu was as barebones as it gets. Think "hamburgers or hot dogs" with little to no personality. No signature sauces, no quirky creations--just vibes and buns. I stepped up to order and was immediately thrown into a conversation about my shirt. (Fashion critique wasn't on the menu, but sure.) I asked about the burger size, and was told--deadpan--they're "flat." Well, that clears that up. Eventually, I was informed that a double is "about the size of a quarter pounder." Cool, I guess? I ordered a burger with mayo and chili, to which the guy replied, "That's odd, but okay." Look, either make it the way I like it or lock the doors, buddy--because this wasn't shaping up to be a five-star first impression. When my food was handed over in a paper bag with zero inquiry about dine-in or takeout, we just sat down at a dirty table and unwrapped our meal. What awaited me was the burger equivalent of déjà vu--basically a McDonald's cheeseburger in witness protection. To be fair, the food was fresh and hot. But the flavor? Aggressively average. We even debated swinging by a drive-thru afterward just to feel something again. That said, I'll give them this: it was oddly refreshing to see they serve real all-beef franks. A small win in a sea of "meh." Bottom line: If I'm nearby and need a snack, I might circle back. But I won't be making a pilgrimage for this one. Just Hamburgers lives up to its name--emphasis on just.

I placed an online order of Lasagna Rolls, a side Caesar salad, asparagus, and the volcano shrimp…read moreappetizer. The salad had quite a bit of water in the bottom of the container. I was glad that the salad was washed but it didn't seem to be drained or dried off at all. The dressing wasn't bad but was VERY anchovy heavy... so that paired with the bitter dark green tops of whatever lettuce was used made it unpleasant and difficult to swallow. The lasagna was decent. A little dry in the center of the rolls since it was just cheese and there wasn't enough bolognese sauce to even out the dryness of the rolled noodle and cheese. The volcano shrimp was great. Crispy exterior, good amount and flavor of sauce, and you get a good amount of them. The asparagus however? I paid $6 for THREE asparagus... they were the size of thick expo markers... which might make it sound like an okay price but they were soft and mushy at the top and woody at the bottom... and they were bitter. The best thing I had? It was the 2" section of crusty baguette and the shrimp. The service was good though. I didn't sit in and eat but I was taken care of quickly and my food was ready to go.
