I ordered the Double Bacon Cheeseburger, and it was enormous. The bacon was cooked perfectly, crispy without being overdone, and there was plenty of it. The toppings were fresh, the cheese was generous, and the burger was so big I couldn't finish it all. I wanted to, but it simply won the battle. One of the things that makes Parker's unique is the atmosphere. The walls are covered with horse racing memorabilia and photos. The owner is involved in horse racing, and the racing theme gives the restaurant a personality all its own. And don't leave without trying the ice cream. We had the soft serve, and it was absolutely delightful. It was the perfect finish to a great meal. This is the kind of classic American drive in that is becoming harder to find. Freshly prepared food, generous portions, local character, and a memorable experience. If you're passing through Paducah, Parker's is well worth getting off the interstate for. We'll definitely be back.

After doing some record shopping we asked "Where's a good place to go for lunch" and there was a unanimous "Parker's" from standers by. It was also, literally, about 3 blocks away. There's a menu board mounted behind the counter and they can hand you one so you don't have to squint your eyes to see all they have to offer. And this menu is ENORMOUS Parker's is a very cool throwback to the car hops of the 50s and early 60s. You can order outside on the speaker or go inside for the full-on experience. The inside is decorated with movie and music memorabilia and neon. Lots of neon. If you're eating inside you order at the counter, they give you a number, and you find a seat. The menu is hand-held/bar food. Burgers, hotdogs, onion rings, and fries, and a variety of sandwiches and a HUGE selection of sides. My wife had a mushroom and swiss burger, I had your basic cheese burger. Our sides were onion rings and fries. Our food was delivered hot, fresh, and accurate within ten minutes. My wife's burger/onion rings came on a basket shaped like a guitar. #AWESOME!! The food was tasty and delicious. I asked for tomato on my cheeseburger and they were able to add it, but was sliced probably 3/4 of an inch thick! It made the burger look a little lopsided, but it was still good. The staff was friendly and didn't look at me funny when I asked for a side of mayonnaise for my fries (yea I'm that guy). The dining room was authentically decorated, like I said, with vintage movie and music stuff down to the chrome chairs and the soda fountain seat with silver, twirly seats...even the floor tiles were like something you'd see in a movie from the 50s. Our first visit was a great experience and we had a lot of fun despite unrelenting rain. If we get to Paducah again, Parker's Drive In is definitely our lunch destination.

Food is good. No complaints. Taste of their ice cream is great. However, when Culvers first opened…read moreyears ago in Paducah and Murray, I had already had their ice cream elsewhere. And at that time, the ice cream was great! A couple years ago that changed. I always ordered the waffle cone, but the ice cream was melting down the cone. First few times it happened, I was annoyed. Decided not to go through the drive through and go inside. Same problem. And it was both thr Murray and Paducah locations. The ice cream is NOT frozen enough. I started sending it back if it was dripping down the sides, but it didn't change anything. So I quit going to Culvers. A year goes by and I tried again. Same problem. Ice cream dripping down the side of the cone. Sent it back. No change. So, I won't be going back anytime soon. Why their ice cream is so runny and melted, when it wasn't always like that, I will never know. And it is a shame because the taste is top notch. Flavors are fantastic. But I want ICE cream, ice cream that doesn't run down the cone, or puddle in the bowl. If Dairy Queen can serve soft serve that does not melt, so should Culvers.

Burned tbe chicken, put straight powder on one chicken biscuits and nothing on the other. No soda in any of the 2 machines in the dining room. Floors were sticky nasty. Rude service from employees. Second trip over, I ordered on the app hoping to get faster service for 2 sausage egg biscuits. Waited past the pick time to give them plenty of time. Went in for their skip the line and mobile pick. There were 2 people at the counter. I said when I walked in I was there to pick up the mobile app order. Waited another 30 minutes. Some cashier looked like she was half dead walking or should I say scooting her feet. Another younger guy walked past me 7 times ignoring me when I kept telling him and the old lady that my mobile should have been ready over thirty minutes ago. They had to make the biscuits. 45 minutes since placing an order that should have been ready! Not to mention it was on sale 2 for $5 And 20 biscuits stacked up in the stainless steel order slide behind the counter. Lady that had been waiting longer than me for dining in bacon biscuit kept walking to the counter to ask if it was ready and looked disgusted by the whole thing. Oh and the day I waited over an hour, I came at 6am when no one was there. And made me late to get ready for work! If you want hot food the same day you order it, don't go to Hinkleville Rd Hardee's in Paducah, Kentucky by the mall area. Find somewhere else to eat breakfast.
