When we're out traveling we always like to go to places we know that are consistent no matter the location. This Qdoba is no different than the rest of them and that's why we choose to eat it. I have to say this was the cleanest Qdoba I've ever been in. They were staffed with enough people to properly operate and the food bar was prepped and stocked with all their offerings. We both ordered pork bowls and the workers doled out portion sizes that we expect from Qdoba. The food was all fresh and tasted great, have literally nothing to complain about with our meal.

I'm no stranger to Qdoba, but this location has to be the nicest Qdoba location I've ever dined in. How do I love this Qdoba? Let me count the ways. 1. Location is conveniently located off of the interstate. 2. Super friendly and helpful staff that greeted me twice before I ever made it to the order counter. 3. The restaurant was fresh and clean...like spotlessly clean. 4. The food was fresh and delicious...it seriously seemed fresher and better than other locations. 5. Clean restrooms. Next time I'm traveling south to visit family, I'll be sure to stop in again.

I love the mini options that they have. The food was good and the service was fast. This facility seemed clean and welcoming.

    Cool aesthetic for a QDOBA

And at that time, the ice cream was great! A couple years ago that changed. I always ordered the waffle cone, but the ice cream was melting down the cone. First few times it happened, I was annoyed. Decided not to go through the drive through and go inside. Same problem. And it was both thr Murray and Paducah locations. The ice cream is NOT frozen enough. I started sending it back if it was dripping down the sides, but it didn't change anything. So I quit going to Culvers. A year goes by and I tried again. Same problem. Ice cream dripping down the side of the cone. Sent it back. No change. So, I won't be going back anytime soon. Why their ice cream is so runny and melted, when it wasn't always like that, I will never know. And it is a shame because the taste is top notch. Flavors are fantastic. But I want ICE cream, ice cream that doesn't run down the cone, or puddle in the bowl. If Dairy Queen can serve soft serve that does not melt, so should Culvers.

The moment its doors come into view, the world seems brighter, the air feels sweeter, and every worry begins to fade away. The ButterBurger is a masterpiece worthy of poetry. Each bite is a perfect harmony of flavor, crafted with such care that it feels as though the universe itself wanted you to have a good day. The golden crinkle-cut fries arrive like treasured companions, crisp and warm, always ready to make an already wonderful meal even better. And then there is the frozen custard--rich, smooth, and so unbelievably delicious that words struggle to do it justice. It is not dessert; it is an experience. Many places serve food, but the Culver's in Paducah serves memories. It transforms ordinary afternoons into celebrations and simple road trips into unforgettable adventures. Its welcoming atmosphere, comforting meals, and legendary custard create a combination so powerful that it lingers in your thoughts long after you've left. If restaurants could inspire love letters, this Culver's would receive volumes. It is the kind of place that makes you glance back one last time as you leave the parking lot, already looking forward to your next visit. In a world full of choices, the Culver's in Paducah, Kentucky remains a shining reminder that true greatness can indeed be found between a ButterBurger and a scoop of frozen custard.

I ordered the Double Bacon Cheeseburger, and it was enormous. The bacon was cooked perfectly, crispy without being overdone, and there was plenty of it. The toppings were fresh, the cheese was generous, and the burger was so big I couldn't finish it all. I wanted to, but it simply won the battle. One of the things that makes Parker's unique is the atmosphere. The walls are covered with horse racing memorabilia and photos. The owner is involved in horse racing, and the racing theme gives the restaurant a personality all its own. And don't leave without trying the ice cream. We had the soft serve, and it was absolutely delightful. It was the perfect finish to a great meal. This is the kind of classic American drive in that is becoming harder to find. Freshly prepared food, generous portions, local character, and a memorable experience. If you're passing through Paducah, Parker's is well worth getting off the interstate for. We'll definitely be back.

After doing some record shopping we asked "Where's a good place to go for lunch" and there was a unanimous "Parker's" from standers by. It was also, literally, about 3 blocks away. There's a menu board mounted behind the counter and they can hand you one so you don't have to squint your eyes to see all they have to offer. And this menu is ENORMOUS Parker's is a very cool throwback to the car hops of the 50s and early 60s. You can order outside on the speaker or go inside for the full-on experience. The inside is decorated with movie and music memorabilia and neon. Lots of neon. If you're eating inside you order at the counter, they give you a number, and you find a seat. The menu is hand-held/bar food. Burgers, hotdogs, onion rings, and fries, and a variety of sandwiches and a HUGE selection of sides. My wife had a mushroom and swiss burger, I had your basic cheese burger. Our sides were onion rings and fries. Our food was delivered hot, fresh, and accurate within ten minutes. My wife's burger/onion rings came on a basket shaped like a guitar. #AWESOME!! The food was tasty and delicious. I asked for tomato on my cheeseburger and they were able to add it, but was sliced probably 3/4 of an inch thick! It made the burger look a little lopsided, but it was still good. The staff was friendly and didn't look at me funny when I asked for a side of mayonnaise for my fries (yea I'm that guy). The dining room was authentically decorated, like I said, with vintage movie and music stuff down to the chrome chairs and the soda fountain seat with silver, twirly seats...even the floor tiles were like something you'd see in a movie from the 50s. Our first visit was a great experience and we had a lot of fun despite unrelenting rain. If we get to Paducah again, Parker's Drive In is definitely our lunch destination.

We stopped at this Taco John's when in Paducah for a weekend. It was a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all, so we were the only customers. We stood in the lobby for a few minutes before we were greeted and it was the manager who came up because the employees we could see were busy not paying us any attention. She took our orders and we talked for a minute and told us that they're collecting to help rebuild a church (church?) that was damaged in a recent tornado by rounding up our payment. I was intrigued by one of the local specials (a chicken ranch burrito, as I recall), so that's what I ordered, but with chips and cheese. Yes, Taco John's is known for their Potato Olés (ok, tots), but I prefer chips and cheese. Largely because if I have some Potato Olés I want to have MORE Potato Olés. The dining room was very clean and I was digging the overhead music (80s and 90s). The drink station could have used some attention. Our food deliver was about 8 minutes, and it was hot and accurate. I wasn't crazy about the ranch chicken burrito, to be honest. America's never-ending fascination with ranch dressing is crazy and I don't really get it, but I like it when well placed and the right quantity. This was a little too much ranch for my taste, but it was still good. I think next time I'll stick with my regular Taco Bravo. Add this to the list of Taco John's that I've visited!
