Paid extra $0.99 for the corn , it had been cooking all day long it was all shriveled up and brown , I couldn't even eat it , I'd be embarrassed to place that in someone's order . The girl that took our order sounded like she hated to be there. Finally, while she was helping us, through the intercom, she said just a moment two separate times and it took 15 minutes longer to take our order. Then, when we got to the window to pay and get our food, she asked if I could open my window, at which point I waived at her with the arm I already had hanging out the window. We waited again for 15 minutes longer and when she did open the window, she asked us if we had already paid? We were the only customers at the Drive-Thru, as all the other customers had given up and left. I was beginning to believe she must have been filling in for someone else, when she finally gave us our food 40 minutes after we drove up. Poor, poor customer service. read more

Omg no no no no . Maybe ignorance is bliss . We have done take out three times . First time during Covid and I gave them a soft pass on some food being cold that should have been hot. And Cole slaw that was hot instead of cold. The other two take out times we ate at home. The drive up always packed and even though we live five minutes away none of the food held up. So today (Good Friday) we went for sit down. Floors filthy. Didn't see any tables being cleaned. My husband went into men's room. Seat dirty. No toilet paper . No soap. No hand towels. No ice in either pop machine. My poor diabetic husband had to drink sweet tea because the other tea was empty. Could have sworn we gave one coupon for a family fish and one coupon for a shrimp dinner. Only got twelve fish one corn one scoop slaw and a full broccoli side. I guess the fries were good. The pop machine needed cleaning badly. Didn't know the restaurant was not cleaned and man does that turn me off. Sorry it's a little drive but I guess from here on out we are a long John's family. read more

I have always gone to Long John Silvers. But one Saturday a couple weeks ago I want to try here and I was so impressed. So much food for a cheap price! This place was fast friendly clean, there was a person waiting on you just like a dine in restaurant. The loaded baked potatoes were so good! They are cheaper than where I use to go. I am now a Captain D's fan for sure! Eating here tonight I am so excited. Let's see how the take out is! Well we have just got the food. I was so looking forward to the loaded baked potato , this just broke my heart the bacon is ruined and now I can't eat the potato because I had smashed it all in the potato. Called up there to let them know to take the bacon off their line. They offered to replace the potato but I declined. So sad :( read more

Place sucks!!!I don't like posting much reviews but I get it,they don't want my business!My 2 piece fish look like a onion ring.Lady there said it was a new type of fish.The giant fish had 1 fish that I thought was a hash brown u get from fast food restaurant for breakfast.I couldn't believe it.That was my 2nd visit,the first was about 2 weeks prior.Food was fine but lady at register doesn't realize restaurants are a people business.There's 2 restaurants in walking distance that I will glad take from now on.Im still a fan of Captain D's just not this one read more

Service can be slow at times, but the food is what you would expect-decent, not gourmet. Their breaded fish is good with the vinegar sauce. I'm doing keto now so I skip the breaded fried fish and go for the lemon pepper or grilled tilapia or the grilled salmon, with broccoli and green beans. You can get a side salad too. Ordered the 2 piece dinner both regular and catfish, absolutely delicious. Hubby wanted the loaded baked potato and it was loaded, full of cheese, and he loved it. After we paid, hubby realized we didn't ask if there was a military discount and when food was ready, he asked when he picked it up. They said cash or a desert and he picked cheesecake. For a fast food restaurant this place scores high on great food and service. They even serve "real silverware " when your set down after you order. Some how I just can't get enough of their reg. old country fried fish and the slaw... but my all time favorite is the grilled whitefish . Its light enough to give the healthy food nuts just what they're craving without the guilt. This place is nice. It's light and clean in there. The food is always hot and fresh. Great selection of condiments. You eat off of a plate and have actual silverware. The tea is good too. One of my new favorite places in Paducah. read more
