The service was good, I ordered a special burrito and it was wonderful. Highly recommend the fried pork ! All that food for $13.

The service was friendly and helpful. The food here was absolutely delicious. I was surprised by the freshness of the meat and vegetables, of which there was plenty on my dish. The restaurant from the outside doesn't look like much but once you get inside the place has lots of living plants, is freshly painted and exceptionally clean. Oh and did I mention the prices were more than 25% less than the other local Mexican places? I will definitely be back. read more

This place was so yummy! We were staying out of town and wanted somewhere good to eat. We saw their Birria queso tacos on their Facebook, they looked so good so we decided to eat there. The waitress we had was very nice. We waited a little while for the food, and when it came out it was very fresh. It seems like they make all of their food very fresh, it was so hot! I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Fabulous street tacos!!' Order the green sauce, guacamole and carne asada :) Only recommendation, step up the chip game-tasted bagged :( Otherwise great! read more

We drove through Paducah frequently and have our normal favorite spots. My wife really wanted Mexican. As former California residents, I was super skeptical we would find anything good in small town, Kentucky but it was pretty good after all! The green salsa (a jalapeño cream sauce?) was really great. The tacos were good but need DOUBLE the toppings. They hardly had any meat. read more

I've used this business to cater in meals to 50+ at work. Always amazing but make sure you ask for gringo salsa too because most people can't handle the original around here it seems read more

Interested in trying authentic Mexican food I decided to see what it was all about. I was immediately greeted and seated whenI walked in by a friendly server. The aroma of good things cooking was wonderful. The air was clean and well ventilated which is something I appreciate. Questions about the menu were answered with a sense of pride in what they are doing here. I ate the Guarche and it fantastic. The flavors and texture different than the usual run of the mill. Served with delicious salsa and chips plus she suggested I try two other hot sauces. Both very flavorful! Definitely will be back! read more

We absolutely love to eat here. It is awesome. I love the chicken chimichangas and the prices are so reasonable.

I've been driving by this place's sign for a long time wondering if I should give it a try. It really doesn't look like much from the outside, but we all know that it's what's inside that counts. Let me tell you, what they're serving up on the inside is amazing. To start, the restaurant is super clean. They also have a small market on one side of the restaurant where you can buy ingredients that are common (and often hard to find in our area) ingredients in Mexican dishes. I ordered 4 tacos, one of each that they offer: chorizo, asada, pastor, and carnitas. The tacos are served with a traditional verde and rojo sauce. The verde is a smooth avocado/jalapeño sauce (my fav) and the rojo has a smokey depth to it. The chorizo and carnitas were my favorite. Each taco had a ton of flavor and I would order them all again. The asada was better than any I've ever had. They slice their meat very thin which allows the meat to cook to a crispy brown instead of the chewy texture you so often get. I also ordered a tall glass of horchata, it was delicious and something I wasn't sure I'd ever find in Paducah. The service here was great, super friendly as well. The price is more than fair for the quality of food. I'll be back and I'll bring friends with me, too. *Restaurant side is CLOSED on Monday's* read more

Truly a hidden gem in the Lone Oak area. Love everything that I've had there! Definitely recommend!

Best street tacos I have ever eaten. Totally worth the drive. The building doesn't look like much but the food was amazing. Cheesecake chimmis were alway fantastic! read more

We live in Southern California and we're back in Western Kentucky visiting family. Looking for some authentic food that reminds us of home.... we found it at Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant. Sorry my pictures aren't better, I started eating before I got the camera out. Staff is friendly and helpful. The place is clean and the food is yummy. Check it out for authentic Mexican food and good service. I enjoyed my company and eating the food more than I did taking pictures... pictures don't do the food justice anyway. read more

excellent food! had tacos, a wet burrito and a specialty tostada. all was tasty, quick, and hit the spot for real. 10/10 y'all!

Little hole in the wall place. Family owned. Food was ok. It was just missing a little salt. I felt it was a little bland. The cheese sauce was a little thin. But the portions were perfect. read more

Awesome. Stopped in while in town for business, looking for a good hole-in-the-wall Mexican joint. Guadalajara delivered. You know that when you go into a Mexican grocery mart that also serves food, and where you're the only gabacho in the place, that you're in danger--in danger of having some fantastic Mexican cuisine. I had the Chile Verde w/ Pollo (Chicken w/ green chile sauce) and it was great. Spicy as hell, but great, nonetheless. I had the corn tortillas with mine. Rice and beans were extremely good, as well. If you like spicy, ask the server for some salsa más picosa--it won't disappoint. Pick up some dried chiles on your way out, for the next time you make chili. read more

Most of the Mexican places in Paducah taste the same . This one is the exception. Try the Michoacan Tacos pastor they are awesome , great chilies poblanos as well !!! Service is a little slow but they are always friendly and the food is reasonably priced . I eat here at least three times a week . read more

Hard to find. But it's next to the bp gas station and hank bros hardware. Keep looking and you'll find it. Fresh guacamole with chunks of avocado- really good. Very reasonable prices. I had the steak fajita for dinner $10.95, and it was a good size serving. Get a free dessert on your birthday. Bill will be waiting for you at the register. Not fancy at all, but super friendly. It also seems to double as a small, Mexican grocery store. read more

I live I Paducah, and have tired all the local Mexican restaurants. Guadalajara is absolutely my favorite! The staff are always friendly and pleasant and have smiles on their faces. The menu selections are pretty consistent with other Mexican restaurants in the area, however, their execution is flawless! I've visited easily 2 dozen times and have never had a bad experience here. I've tried the Guadalajara Dinner, Pollo Jalisco, Burrito California and many other offerings, and they're all delicious! Give Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant & Tacqueria a try, you'll be glad you did! read more

Best Mexican food in all of Paducah hard to find but it's right beside Hank Bros. hardware.

The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. The building was a little hard to find using GPS because the restaurant doesn't face the main road. Would have given 5 stars but the outside and inside looks a little rough. read more

This establishment is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The restaurant is tucked away next to a hardware store and isn't much to look at, but it is clean, the staff is friendly and the food is good. Also, it is very pocketbook friendly. The salsa and guacamole is fresh and delicious, and my meals have always been tasty. read more

Came here to eat based on very good Yelp reviews. HUGE disappointment. Food was average at best...salsa is the same old overly salty jarred stuff you can buy in any grocery store. Food was bland but do have to agree that guacamole was better than most. I think the total lack of seasoning ( chili powder/cumin/coriander etc.) of any kind might have been the main problem? Biggest surprise (besides trying to find the place tucked away behind a gas station, next to a hardware store...no street sign nor directions from map link on Yelp) was that because there is a school down the street, they aren't able to serve alcohol thus no margaritas, no beer, just plain old water, iced tea or pop. Definitely won't be back, sad to say. read more
