Restaurant was welcoming, clean and authentic of Mexican culture. Their mural was a warm welcome and reminder of my parent's hometowns in Mexico. The staff were friendly and attentive to us. The owners came to our table and had a friendly chat with us. The food was authentic in flavor and presentation. Their tomatillo salsa was a perfect accompaniment to my Molcajete Azteca. They have traditional Mexican drinks available, (Jarritos, Mexican Coke) and Mexican candy available for sale. We are Mexican and truly enjoyed their traditional food. My friend joining us recommends the Michelada. :) We will definitely return here if we find ourselves in Paducah again. read more

Jose the "manager"was very rude and did not attempt to make my order correct. Per the menu I ordered pollo loco. In the description is said chicken cheese and rice. When I received my food, it was a grilled chicken breast and when I asked for grilled chicken the manager declined my request. He stated that he could not "reuse" the food. Why would food be "reused". All I wanted was to receive sliced grilled chicken and was denied. This restaurant deserves a negative 5. I will not be back and do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very poor customer service from Jose. The worst restaurant in the city. read more

Best Mexican food in town in my opinion. Although most Mexican restaurants are pretty much all the same, this one seems to be a step above the rest. The service is almost always great, with a few of the servers being very friendly and welcoming. read more

We were quite impressed with the food. I had the Chicken Enchiladas that had a delicious sauce and came with some of the best guacamole I've had at any restaurant. Wasn't what I expected in Paducah Kentucky! The food was great but the staff was so friendly and family-oriented. They kept joking with our table and ended up sitting at our table at the end of the night and talking about family and culture. Really respect how they treat their customers and their own family. I just stopped in for something to go to take back to my hotel. I asked for the Burrito Mexicano with beans instead of pork. This burrito had several vegetables listed in it's description. I paid for my food and went back to my hotel. When I opened it, the container had beans wrapped in a tortilla covered with lettuce and some sort of milky sauce. It was soggy and there were no vegetables at all. It was awful. I was tired and hungry from working 10 hours out in the sun. I had already gone to the grocery to get my lunch ready for tomorrow, since I'll leave the hotel at 6 am. When I called to complain, I was not yelling but I was very insistent it be fixed. I want a refund. However the man on the phone said I should stop yelling because he was "only the middleman". He told me I had to bring the food back in order to get a refund. Even though I purchased by credit card he claimed there was no way to give me a refund without bringing the food back and coming in person. I'm appalled at their lack of concern. There was no apology, just a request I bring the food back. They absolutely can give me a refund without me coming back. If the charge shows on my credit card it will be disputed. read more

We have always really liked Los Garcia. Considered it one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area. Tonight was not an indication of that. The service was terrible, we had to constantly ask for refills, we had to ask for our cheese dip no less that 5 times, ask for parts of our meal that they didn't bring out, and the food was sub par once we finally got it. Some things we never received. The staff seemed more concerned with one or two tables in the restaurant than all of their customers. Grant it there were 12 of us but even for a large group, the lack of all around quality during our visit was very disappointing. We did not feel that the staff was concerned or in a hustle to take care of anyone. read more

Took my kids one 2 and 5 here. Food was good but half way through my meal my5 yr old has to use the restroom. So I take my 2 yr old and 5 yr old with me. Don't want to leave a 2yr old unattended at the table. Get back and they cleared my table. Say something to them and they play the I don't understand English card ... Really!! There are several Mexican restaurants in Paducah but Los Garcias is our absolute favorite! They are fast, friendly & delicious. The owners are very personable & work right along with the rest of the staff.
