Pizza Hut has always been my favorite out of the big chain pizza places (The Hut, Domino's, Papa Johns). Their thin styles are always delicious, crispy, and good. My last pizza was the Tavern Style which is very similar to the Thin N Crispy and I like them both. I ordered my favorite trio of toppings (pepperoni, onions and olives) and they did a great job on this pizza. It was delivered via DoorDash and got to my house pretty quickly. Oh, I almost forgot about the spicy marinara... wow, it was great and packed a nice Italian punch (like Rocky but smarter). Donato's is the best chain of them all, but since there are none near me (what happened Winter Park?), Pizza Hut is the best choice for chains. With that being said, local pizza parlors are good to but sometimes the prices are just too high.

Honestly, if you did not know about the businesses on this side, you would never see them. While most of the traffic is on East Colonial Drive, unless you turn down the road off of East Colonial Drive, you will never see these businesses including this Pizza Hut. Still, this particular location is convenience for the residents of Bithlo, Christmas, Chuluota, and anyone driving along East Colonial Drive on the east side of Orlando. Is the pizza great? Well, it's Pizza Hut. I consider these National chains like Pizza Hut, Domino's, Little Caesars, and the rest the "fast food" of pizza. I mean, they provide a reasonable facsimile of pizza with the consistency of a national chain. They also do have decent specials. All in all, I am going to give this Pizza Hut location three stars.

And I think they programmed their beverage machine (now just 1 instead of 2) to not put as much syrup as a cost serving measure. I tried a few different drinks and they all just tasted watery. The only good thing is their burgers... the JBC is still king although it was more of a king on the 99 cent menu back in the day. Oh, their breakfast potatoes are great too. Their cookies and sweet treats look good as well. But you're not here for the Chips! Their subs are the reason you go to the shore. They slice their meat and cheese when you order and it goes right on the sub. They have hot subs too in the form of chicken and steak. These remind me a lot of Charlie's subs and they have various forms of each of them. The Chicken Philly is pretty good and the white American cheese melts nicely. I may try with provolone or Swiss or maybe even bring my own Raclette to see if they'll put it on (I doubt they will). If your sub seems lifeless, give it some CPR! That's the insider term for their Cherry Pepper Relish and it pumps a lot of flavor into that sub. It's difficult to get a sub without it. Try it with mayo too and watch it transform into a vodka sauce looking stream of flavor. It hasn't been open long as of this review, but so far after 2 visits, the staff is friendly, the bread is fresh, and the subs are what you expect from this chain. If you like your subs thrown together and messy, hit the Wawa next door.

By this, I mean that it is a reasonable facsimile of the great pizza you can get at some of the great independent mom-and-pop pizza joints, but these national chains are more concerned with consistency over quality. All in all, this particular location of Marco's Pizza offers a decent enough pizza consistent to Marco's Pizza. There are better options, but this was close enough and it ultimately did the job it was intended to do.

I let him know I'd wait outside in my car and return in the 15 minutes for my order. He came out to ask me a question about my order to clarify so he did it correctly, which was another huge bonus for me. Then before my order was even due he ran it outside to me. The extra mile he took even when he was obviously very busy makes a difference in how I view the level of service. He was outstanding, I wish I had gotten his name. Pizza was delicious too. Marco's Pizza is a national pizza chain and while it may not be as well known as Pizza Hut, Domino's or Little Caesars, Marco's Pizza has definitely grown since it was started in 1978 in Oregon, Ohio by Pasquale "Pat" Giammarco. That single location has grown to over 1,100 locations across thirty-three states, as well as having locations in Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. The pizza here is definitely recognized as pizza from a national chain, so you will not stop in your tracks and state to the Heavens and regret every moment of your life that you missed out on the pizza from Marco's Pizza, it is also not the worse pizza that you will ever have. Pizza from a national pizza chain is what I consider the fast food version of pizza and while it will never be stellar, Marco's Pizza was a quick option to grab while I was with a group of friends. With that being said, I will give it four stars. Not the best pizza, but definitely the worst and it was a convenient place to grab some pizza on a Sunday evening.
