Truly extraordinary. Let me start with the service. It is TOP TIER. You couldn't ask for better…read morecustomer service. I thoroughly enjoyed the explanation of how the restaurant came to be. I also enjoyed the walk through of the menu and the different dishes/pizza ordered. My friend and I started with the Burrata. It was phenomenal. I loved the flavor of the balsamic glaze. The rosemary focaccia bread was superb. For pizzas we decided upon the Star Beckham and the Marco. I really enjoyed the star shaped pizza. The triangle crust was packed with a good amount of ricotta cheese. There was lots of toppings and some of the freshest ingredient pizza I've ever had. The Marco pizza was good getting to try the stracciatella cheese for the first time. The restaurant is really cute. Its an intimate dining room area and you can see into the kitchen seeing the pizzas cooking. I had a great time here and a great meal.

When most people think of a pizza date, eating out of a grease-stained cardboard box on your dorm…read moreroom coffee table with Netflix playing in the background comes to mind, but Mister 01 proves that even pizza can make for a classy meal. We were lucky enough to have a free meal voucher from my girlfriend's work, so we decided to spoil ourselves. To start, we had the burrata e crudo, and between the fresh cheese and the addictive rosemary bread, we were practically fighting for the last piece. The prosciutto was also spot-on, and unlike the pre-packaged stuff you get at the supermarket, it was perfectly marbled and didn't have any of the annoying stringy bits of fat that get stuck between your teeth. You can just tell that Mister O1 really cares about the quality of every single thing they put on your plate. Next, we each got the star-shaped specialty pizzas, with my girlfriend getting the Star Beckham and me getting the Star Carlos. Both of these pies blew us away with their flavors and freshness, especially with that creamy warm ricotta folded into the Star-shaped crust. Some people might not usually like pizza crust, but trust me, even the most vocal crust-haters will reconsider when they try a slice. Now, the extraordinary thing about Mister O1's pizza is that they take the traditional Romana-style approach to pizza -- thin, light, and crispy. Unlike the glorified sponges sopping with oil that you find at your local Pizza Hut, these pizzas were so light on the stomach that bloating is nonexistent, and some of my more gluten-sensitive friends have even been able to enjoy their pizza without any issue. If you're full-blown Celiac or vegan, don't worry; they've got vegan and gluten-free options too! To finish our night, we ordered the Nutella and banana calzone, and honestly, whoever came up with that idea needs a big fat kiss on the mouth. It was stuffed with ooey-gooey warm Nutella, and the banana slices were practically spilling out of it as we tore away at it. If I hadn't been full from eating my entire pizza in one sitting, I would've ordered another. If you have kids, be careful sharing this with them, because they'll turn into piranhas over this desert. All in all, Mister O1 has quickly become our favorite pizza joint near UCF, and I proudly give it five big booms of approval.

Still 5 stars since I can't bump it up another notch. They have their staples like Chicken Parm, Lasagna, Bolognese, Shrimp Fry Diavolo, Puttanesca , Piccata, Gnocchi, and a variety of delicious pizzas and appetizers. There are too many to name. This restaurant can stand on their own with their standards. Where they stand out is with their specials. The chef here is always innovating and trying some new dishes. I wish I could get a notification of what's on the menu each night. I've had some amazing surprises with the taste and presentation of these dishes. And when they have wedding soup (Christmas time), I definitely make sure I go. I feel like part of the family when I go here. They always recognize us and some of the staff even resembles member of my extended Italian family. They cook better than my Italian grandma (shhhh, don't tell her). They also just opened a sister restaurant (Amalfi) down the block so they're taking over Avalon Park! I've been here a lot and plan on going a lot more. Some of the best Italian food in Orlando! Overall the service and food were 10/10 especially our server Madison who's been there since the beginning and gave us A+ hospitality.

Last night, we decided to treat ourselves and ordered them through DoorDash, insanely expensive, but based on their food years ago, well worth it. It wasn't worth it. Not. At. All. We ordered two pizza, cheesy garlic bread, the pasta trio to split, and their chocolate cake and lemon cake, enough food to last for days. Everything we ordered came, no issue with that, but all of it was ice cold. Not lukewarm, but ice cold. We received our order in less than 40 minutes from ordering it, ten minutes drive from store, so there is no explanation in the world why the food was this cold. We started with the pizza, limp, paper thin dough, no flavor for the sauce, crust, etc. but somehow it came with a weird aftertaste. The cheese garlic bread was just soggy dough with a slice of unmelted cheese on it. Now, for the trio pasta, the Alfredo was literally just a children's side of Alfredo pasta, the chicken parm was an old piece of dried out, slightly burnt chicken, smaller than a deck of cards, and the lasagna was clearly frozen, and all of it was tasteless. We ended up throwing it all away after a few bites and I ended up getting sick. The chocolate cake was previously, and recently, frozen, old, and somehow dried out at the same time. The lemon cake was obviously frozen, and again, recently, and it was not good. The food was horrible, cheap, tasteless, and seriously, how does tasteless food leave behind a bad aftertaste? How is this even possible? Absolutely will never get their food again. Not worth it.

Very old-world-Italian-esque. We got seated in a nice corner and got started. I started off with an order of Bruschetta (Toasted bread topped with marinated tomatoes, garlic, basil & a sprinkle of shredded Parmesan) for the table. These were the best I've ever had. Nice, thicc chunks of toast that were actual toast and not just crackers. Also, the pieces of tomato were multicolored and very well coated with that garlic, basil, and Parm. Seriously, the best I've had. Very good stuff. For my main, I had the Veal and Shrimp Parmesan (A classic surf and turf: Breaded shrimp & veal, lightly fried, topped with marinara and baked with melted mozzarella). Wow. This thing was a spectacle. The veal and shrimps were very well pounded thin and very nicely coated with a seasoned breadcrumb mixture. Fried crispy, tasty marinara, tasty melted mozz. Just another great dish. Overall, if you specialize in national chain Italian places, definitely step outside of your comfort zone and come to mom 'n' pop places like this. The quality different is astounding. I loved it here. I'd come back.

While their…read moremenu did appear to have some pretty decent options, I did not order any food because I was simply there to pass the time as I awaited my appointment at a neighboring salon. So, sadly, I cannot speak to the food, and for now, my rating will remain squarely in the middle until I have the opportunity to try their food options. With that said, my rating is also in the middle because the service was SLOW, SLOW, SLOW. While it was dinnertime, the restaurant itself was not super packed. I opted to sit at the bar and sat there for about 10 mins before anyone serviced me. Had I known it would have been that slow, I'd have gone to the restaurant next door. Again, I just wanted a beverage as I waited for my time to pass for my hair appointment at the salon in the same shopping plaza. By the time I got my house glass of pinot grigio, it was time to pay my tab and go to my appointment. So, much of the time was eaten up in simply waiting for a bartender to service me; I was a little put off. In fact, they did not find anyone to service the bar area until it was about three of sitting there. Anyways, despite that, the staff was actually very kind. They did apologize for the wait, but you know what they say about first impressions. While I won't be letting this deter me from actually giving them a proper try, I will keep this first experience in the back of my head. Despite this, the venue is spacious. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating. The bar seating is limited, but they have enough. The environment seemed lively and very family-friendly. Also, pricing is GREAT! Their entire menu is very reasonable - so that is a plus! It is located in a shopping plaza, so there is more than enough parking. Again, I'll be back to give them another try and see if they are able to sway my opinions any further.

This was my first time at Tratto and I already have made plans to return. My plans include trying another new-to-me pizza combination but no promises. I might get the pesto and mortadella on repeat for the foreseeable future. The pizzas can be ordered in Thin crust or Detroit style. I ordered my pizza as thin crust which was exceptional and my dining partner ordered a Detroit style with pepperoni and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm usually not a ratatouille girl at all, but THIS one? Whew. The burrata on top took it to another level--creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced. I'd go back just for that alone. Now...the Detroit-style pizza?? Where has this been all my life? We got the Spicy Pepperoni and I'm still thinking about it. The combo of crispy edges, fluffy crust, hot honey, and goat cheese was unreal. At this point, I feel like I need to book a trip to Detroit just to compare lol. We also tried the cheese wheel pasta--flavor-wise it was just okay for me, but the tableside presentation was definitely the highlight. It's one of those dishes you order more for the experience than the taste. Paired everything with a bottle of prosecco, which made the whole night feel a little extra and very much needed. And shoutout to Zack--he was a great waiter. Attentive, friendly, and really helped make the experience smooth from start to finish. Overall, great vibes, solid food, and a fun dining experience. Definitely a spot I'd come back to--especially for that pizza and burrata situation.
