Our office frequently orders Rosati's when we're doing lunch in the office. We found it because we have some people from Chicago so they know it well and love the Rosati's deep dish. The pizza is good! I'm not the biggest deep dish fan, so I don't really have much to compare it to, but I will definitely eat a couple slices of Rosati's deep dish. Although I have requested that we get some of the thin crust too, and that is delicious as well! It is a thinner crust, but it's not a crunchy thin crust This week, we also tried the little dough bites, the texture was interesting, but I really liked them! Just moved to the area and have eaten a few times at this place because it is family owned and service, ambiance and food are all fantastic!

I was looking for deep dish on national deep dish day when I came across Rosati's. Fun fact, I really thought Rosati's was a place only in Mendota IL, it wasn't until I found this place last week when I discovered this is a franchise. This location is actually just for pick up, but you can at other locations including the one in Mendota which have a full service restaurant and bar. I was greeted at the counter and it was only a 20 minute wait for this really tasty deep dish pizza. They make it the traditional Chicago style way with the sauce on top of the cheese. The crust was buttery and did not get soggy, even with all the ingredients on top. Very easy to order, reasonably priced and I did not wait long. The lady in the front who took my order was very pleasant as we chatted for a bit while my order was being made. I definitely will be returning for my deep dish cravings or when I miss my best friend in Mendota and need some comfort pizza! read more

I tried Rosati's for a family birthday gathering. One of the people celebrating a birthday loves deep dish pizza and Chicago style Italian beef so this seemed like a good spot to try! We ordered two thin crusts pizzas (plain cheese and a white pizza with fresh tomatoes) and a deep dish sausage pizza. We also ordered an Italian beef sandwich and cut it up into small pieces so every one that wanted to could try some. The people here were super friendly; it is more of a takeout spot with a small dine in area, and they let us take up two tables pushed together so we could eat in with our party of 9. Pizzas were ordered in advance since the deep dish takes some time and ready shortly after we arrived. The thin crust pizzas were tasty. Nothing super unique, but good. Those of us that tried the deep dish enjoyed it. The sauce was tasty and herby and the crust was a great consistency. It was a little light on sausage, but I didn't personally mind because it wasn't too greasy. The Italian beef sandwich was also yummy. Overall, this is a solid spot and I'd definitely order the deep dish and the Italian beef here again. I also want to try their wings! read more

I ordered a pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. When I got home the crust was about a quarter in thick, and I pulled back the cheese and there was 1 pepperoni and tiny pieces of mushrooms. Not happy with this pizza. read more

Visiting childhood friends that live 2 miles from Rosati's. Uber 30 minutes from Orlando getting hungry at 5pm. Called 2 other places that didn't deliver. Some of the best pizza in town! Can't believe I looked over this place for so long. Stopped by after hurricane Ian because they were one of the only places in the area that was open and I was so glad I did because I found my go-to pizza spot. I could not get over that cheese. The flavor of their cheese is what I always look for in pizza. The toppings are all fresh and large cut pieces, and the thin crust was perfectly crispy. I have been wanting to try here since they opened and last night was finally the night. This location is small. You walk in and there is a counter with a few bottles of giardiniera for sale. It would have been nice to have pizza behind glass like many pizza places offer, but this was not the case here. Off to the side is a small dining area. My order was for a takeout and I ordered their two signature dishes, their Chicago deep dish and their thin crust pizza. They also had a coupon for a free order of their pizza dough nuggets, so that was on the order. The pizza smelled great as I drove it home and made me look forward to my feast when I got home. So how was it? The pizza dough nuggets were a huge appetizer. They were also good. They come with a marinara sauce. Again, a good choice for an appetizer (free or not). The thin crust pizza was a loser. If I were to judge this pizza alone, it would have rated one star (and that would have been generous). This was our first, and LAST time to Rosati's. My wife got off work at 7, we decided we didn't want to cook and made plans to try a pizza place near our home, Antonella's. Unfortunately they were closed so we went across the street to try Rosati's. There was 1 light skinned black girl with icicle bear-claw fingernails by herself futzing with the register. We told her it was our first time and she pointed to a menu. She completed our order at 7:25 and told us for 1 White pizza 16" triangle cut and 1 Monster 16" triangle cut ($55) it would be 15-20 minutes. Fine. Paid. Ten minutes later, one guy walks in. Another ten minutes, another guy. Odd, no pizza yet but ok, she'll come tell us. I let it go. Another ten minutes, a couple and another woman. Then 20 minutes goes by and there's quite a crowd so she starts calling names and I watch as every one of these people who are obviously UberEats (no 40 year old Dominican man goes by Jessica) all get served and ushered out the doors to their econobox. I am standing there politely. She finally notices me and says, "He's cutting yours now." Ok, progress. Another few minutes and more Uber eats orders get pushed out the door. Finally she hands me our boxes. Pizzas in hand I ask her, "What is the standard wait time here for two pizzas?" "Oh, well, uhh, we go in order. So they called before you did." "We didn't call, we walked in and you said 20 minutes. It's been an hour." No lie, the guy standing next to me at the counter said, "Wow." The look on her face said it all. They backburnered our order and pushed everyone who phoned in ahead of us because we were stupid enough to sit there and not demand our money back. Well, thanks, but no thanks. No pizza, no matter how good it is or not, is worth an hour of being ignored, then treated like I'm completely incompetent. Guaranteed I am not the only one to experience this. Stopped by for lunch on Monday and had a cheese slice, shared a side salad, and had a couple fried mozzarella sticks. While i'm not usually a fan of eating in at a restaurant that is geared more for take out, we had heard so many good things that we had to try it. First the side caesar salad was reeeeeeeealllly good. . . shockingly so. It was so fresh, lots of fresh parm, and quite large for a 'side' salad. Definitely would come back even just for this salad. The fried mozzarella was good - not amazing, but decent. The single cheese slice was very good. It had a nice crunch on the edges and was good sized to the point that i ended up taking home the other half of the slice. Being from chicago every knows tavern style is the real Chicago pizza. Not the tourist deep dish this is the best I had since moving to Orlando. The sausage mushroom and onion thin was amazing. I am no fan of Chicago pizza, so I may be off here. The dough was basically 3 times the thickness of most pizza, the pizza had no taste. You know how usually Chicago pizza gives you super heartburn from spices this one had no taste. Which in my case was okay I didnt want heartburn and didnt have that nasty sauce sweet taste like unos. When I think of Chicago pizza I think of nasty unos. That being said, it was okay, if I compared it to Sams Wholesale pizza down the street Sams is better, says something. Would I pick it as a quick spot to go to, no. Some people like this, but no taste and thick dough not for me.
