Beautiful restaurant with great decor and attentive staff. Unfortunately , my pasta was served so hot that it burned my throat. I filmed a short video 5 minutes after it was served, with steam, still coming from the pasta . I also felt a bit uneasy about the experience. I could not finish this meal after burning my throat after the first bite. While i cant say for certain, it made me question whether i was treated differently. I went here for my birthday dinner with my family and really enjoyed my experience here. It is on Park Avenue, which was a nice area to be around after dinner especially during the winter time. The service was phenomenal, the server was very attentive and helpful. They also gave us complimentary cheese from the chef which I thought was a nice gesture. In our group we ordered almost every signature item and everyone loved their dishes, with zero complaints. We got the tiramisu at the end which was presented in a whimsical way that my family enjoyed. The atmosphere is very nice, it had a typical fine dining setting. The outdoor dining area was beautiful, and watching the team make the pasta by hand really showed just how fresh everything is. Highly recommend to make a reservation in advance, it gets busy. My cousin invited me here for a girls' night, and every single dish was so good. They also offer a four-course prix fixe menu for $59! Naturally, we each ordered different items so we could sample as much as possible. It also came paired with a glass of wine with it which was nice! The showstoppers for me were the Burrata Caprese, with that unbelievably fresh pesto, and the Filet Carpaccio--the combination of capers, dressing, and Parmesan practically melted in my mouth. You must get these if you dine here. I loved the Gnocchi Verdi vs the Tagliatelle with mushroom. Both pastas were good, but you can't beat the gnocchi with their three-cheese sauce with prosciutto, walnuts, arugula, and fresh pesto. That combo is absolutely delicious! The tiramisu is not your traditional dish but it had good flavor and of course was so cute looking like a little pot with a plant. I personally preferred the lava cake taste wise. The pasta and food is fresh, each dish is amazingly delicious and creative in its own way while retaining the Italian flavor palette. Escalated Italian is what I would call it. But there's a couple stuff they can fix to be 5 starts, for starters was upset that their Lemonade came out in a Minute Maid bottle and although our server was overall good, she never came to check if we wanted more wine when our glass was empty and our waters were never refilled. We originally accidentally had a reservation for after the restaurant closed and they called us early in the day to inform us and helped us change the reservation to a better time. The restaurant looks gorgeous and the staff were very friendly and attentive. You can even see a chef creating the pasta by the window. The plating of all their food was beautiful as well. We received free focaccia bread w/ olive oil and a plate of cheese as well. I ordered the pumpkin ravioli and it was absolutely delicious! I loved the flavors and the 3 cheese sauce was perfect. I also had the tiramisu for desert and it was different than a traditional tiramisu and served in a fun clay pot. It had a few too many chocolate chips on top for my liking but once I scooped out a few, I loved it. The chocolate chips add a nice bit of texture to the tiramisu. I had a glass of moscato as well and it was very delicious and at a good price point. Even though the food and drinks were great, I hope they do consider changing the type of table cloths they use. Due to the material, you can still see stains from previous diners as the material is not easy to get into the crevices to clean. I did witness them cleaning it with a spray bottle after diners leave, but both the table next to me (that I moved from) and the one I stayed at still had stains. read more

I love Turci in College Park, so when I found out they were opening a location in Winter Park, I was thrilled. Their new location is gorgeous, with a lovely courtyard and stylish, intimate interior. Service was friendly, and I really appreciated how the chef sent out some complimentary cheese with balsamic vinegar as a little bite. LOVE that bread service is included here; the bread was super soft and delicious, but I found myself a little disappointed with the quality of their olive oil. It was very runny, and had none of that rich olive flavor that I would expect; it was also very pale in color. On the other hand, the main course food here was delicious -- everyone enjoyed their dishes and loved the fresh pasta. My Pappardelle Inferno was legit spicy and delicious. I loved the sauce so much. The pasta was delicious and had the right amount of bite and chew. However, it doesn't reheat well; we took home some leftovers, and reheating the pasta overcooked it and it was very soft. The outside seating area and entrance is really beautiful. The inside of the restaurant is a bit small our server was very attentive. We all ordered a different pasta dish. I got the penne burrata pesto, the pesto had good flavor and tasted very fresh. I enjoyed the burrata but it seemed a bit out of place because it was cold. I really liked the pumpkin ravioli, it was delicious! Again the burrata felt a bit extra on this dish. The lasagna was pretty good as well. This is my second time at the location and I've also visited their sister location, Turci Pasta. The service is top notch, from friendly service to quick service. The food is the true highlight. I can confidently say, after having the lasagna twice now, this is the best lasagne I've ever had. We've tried many different appetizers and can't even pick a favorite. The food was very good and definitely the strongest part of the experience. However, the service and overall atmosphere did not meet the same standard. From the start, the ambience felt uninviting. The staff was polite but their interactions felt very forced, which created an awkward tone throughout the evening, something just feels off from the minute they greet you. A small but telling detail was how the clients umbrellas were handled on a rainy night, they were left outside on the wet floor and rain which felt careless and unprofessional. Also, be aware of the strict policies. Your credit card is held for the reservation, with a $20 per person charge if you cancel or modify within 24 hours. We were also charged a 20% "large party" gratuity for a table of five, which felt excessive and unusual. The manager's attitude was unhelpful and concerns were not properly addressed. Overall, the staff gave the impression that they did not want to be there. While technically polite, the service felt unnatural. In short, the food is good, but the service, fees, and overall experience leave a lot to be desired. I later read other reviews expressing similar concerns. Great food alone does not make a great restaurant, service and experience matter just as much. read more

Beef Wellington was delicious and I honestly couldn't finish both halves, so I boxed the other half for lunch to eat the following day. Their purple mashed potato was to die for, so deliciously tasty! Their moscato and complimentary bread was really good! Their pesto pasta dish was delicious as well. The negatives were that the service was awful, the waiter took forever to bring my wine and the bread as well, he was very inattentive. You can't add any meat to your pasta as an upcharge which makes no sense because authentic Italians always have meat in their pasta. Came for a date night and I'm glad we did! We made a reservation online (highly recommended) and were seated indoors. They also have outdoor seating on a very cute patio. The inside is small, and the tables quite close together -- I often felt the hair of the girl sitting at the table behind me on my back because of how close we were. Service was very prompt and friendly. When looking at the menu, we wished that there were more (or any) protein options for the pastas. The lasagna was easily the best part of the night. It was DELICIOUS and had my boyfriend hypnotized for days afterwards. Our main reason for coming here was actually the tiramisu. We had seen pictures of a cute little pot and were intrigued. If you are looking for good fresh pasta this is your place. I had the tagliatelle mushroom pasta which very delicious. The sauce was creamy and flavorful. My husband had the gnocchi verde which is also a very delicious pasta dish to choose from. The Luca salad was okay. It did incorporate lots of different flavors and textures. I've been to the Turci location in College Park multiple times and it's always an outstanding experience. My friend made reservations at this location in Winter Park to give it a try. The look of it is very fancy and has cool aesthetics from the moment you walk up to the outside patio. We had a table inside and at first they gave us the table basically right at the door. We asked if we could have a different table that wasn't directly at the entrance and with a bit of hesitation they did change the table, which we really did appreciate. The waiter was very kind and attentive, but at times we did feel we were being a bit rushed. We ordered from the four course prefixed menu for $59 per person. I believe it was a good deal and we got lots of great options to choose from. Starting with the bread they brought to the table, it was really soft and delicious, however, the oil that it was served with did not have any herbs and seem to be very light in color and that's not typically what you would see in an Italian restaurant. The first meal came, we ordered the Burrata Caprese salad. It was delicious and just as we had it at the other location. The next course was the bruschetta and the melon one was certainly the best one. For our main courses, we each ordered a different dish so we can try each other's. While the pappardelle tomato basil was very tasty, and I especially loved that type of pasta, the pumpkin ravioli was by far the best part of the entire experience. It was so flavorful, so delicious, the textures were pleasant, overall outstanding! For dessert, we ordered the cannoli and the tiramisu, and they ended up bringing over the gelato for my birthday. I was highly disappointed in the tiramisu because the one at the other location comes with a little shot of espresso to pour directly on top of the dessert and it is by far the best tiramisu I've ever had in my life. The one at this location was so disappointing, we barely even ate it. The cannoli and the gelato on the other hand were very delicious and I would highly recommend those! Overall, I had a lovely birthday dinner with my friend and we enjoyed some great Italian food, which is exactly what I wanted. First time visiting This spot and it was a great date night ! I loved how it seemed sort of lowkey and a smaller franchise making it feel more like a private area. Really loved the service and everyone was very helpful, sweet, and attentive. The bread we get for appetizer is delicious with a plate of olive oil. I made a reservation at Luca Turci to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant is small with limited seating inside and some patio seating. So a reservation is probably a good idea. The wait staff was polite though there was quite a lull between courses. We were not in a huge rush so it wasn't a big deal for us. There is music playing low enough for conversation, but given the size of the restaurant and how close the tables are if you're next to a loud party that doesn't use their inside voices then conversations can be hard. The meal started with fresh bread. The bread was absolutely delicious. It was a highlight of the meal. Next we ordered a appetizer of burrata Fritta which was excellent. A classic Bruschettas that was fresh and the tomatoes were delicious. They made sure there was plenty of topping on the bread. Next was a carpaccio called sex appeal that was made with pears. We also enjoyed this dish. The disappointment came with the main course. My daughter and husband both ordered the duck and I had the beef wellington. Let's say I wouldn't go back for the main course. It was disappointing. The meat was not seasoned for the wellington. The side of potatoes while good didn't serve as a nice accompaniment to the beef. My daughter who loves duck didn't finish it. We tried out the new Luca Turci restaurant and really enjoyed it. They just opened in January 2025, and are the same folks behind Turci Pasta in College Park which we are big fans of. We were able to grab a reservation for indoor seating as it was chilly out, but we did see they have heaters outside. The host and servers were very friendly and attentive. This is in the former space where Braccia Pizza was. We were served warm focaccia bread with olive oil, and ordered some Chianti and sparkling water. For appetizer we shared the caprese salad and it was phenomenal. If you like pesto, get this and save some of your bread for it. For entrees we ordered the papardelle tomato basil and the seabass with risotto. WOW. Absolutely delicious. I'm so full typing this but still craving that risotto taste lol. Food is really delicious and the service was good. It's no fuss - very intimate space. Really, it's just small outdoor dining and one room inside .... But it's worth it. We had super early dinner reservations (4:30ish) so we were able to enjoy the nice outdoor patio and have a super lovely meal. We noticed around 5:15 things started to get pretty busy. Highly recommend making a reservation. They seem to book up quickly. I honestly love the pasta here -- it's homemade and you can tell. Bread is also delicious I think I still prefer their other location Turci Pasta on edge water because I'm obsessed with their tiramisu. Luca Turci was great, located right off Park Ave in Downtown Winter Park, Fl. We sat outside and the scenery was beautiful with so many string lights and canopy. They sat us immediately upon arriving and the server was attentive the whole night. We decided to do magical dining where we ordered off a $40 prix fixe menu that included an appetizer, entree and dessert with a $17 wine upgrade that included two glasses of wine. Our entrees were delicious with the duck and the pesto burrata pasta. The dessert was a tiramisu baked to look like a potted plant which was adorable, albeit pretty small. Overall the food was great, but my main gripe is how rushed we felt toward the end of our meal. The bill was placed on our table at the same time our dessert came with suggestions to wrap up soon which took some of the enjoyment away. For a restaurant of this level, you want to enjoy the experience fully. Plus we had a decent amount of time left on our reservation slot so we weren't overstaying our allotted time. social media drew me in and sold me. From the reel, post and tik-told, I wanted to love this place but sadly I didn't- if you want Italian in this area I recommend Pannullus around the corner. We went to celebrate my friends birthday and made the reservations 6 weeks in advance. As you know, Florida weather is unpredictable so I requested interior just to be safe. On the day of, we arrived a few minutes early on a breezy cool day. The patio completely empty so we asked to move our table outside. The hostess was rude loud and non-accommodating. As we sat inside the customer service continued to decline. Food: I've traveled to Italy several times so to continually tell me that this is authentic when I questioned any menu item was quite annoying. By the time I returned home I felt stuffed even though I at a tenth of my marinara pasta (best description-tomato soup with pasta) my friend barely ate their food as well as it was EXTREMELY salty. When we spoke to our waiter-again we were today that that was the authentic way- mind you my friend lived in Italy for years- hence why this place was chosen. The tiramisu was good! I woke up in the middle of the night vomiting, I spoke to my friend the next day and they said their stomach cramped all night and they felt terrible. We left knowing we would never return and walked past the still empty patio seating as only three people had arrived during our dining time. read more
