Never knew this cute little place was there because it's a block off of Park Ave. Would strongly recommend making a reservation becuase it's a smaller place but they do have tables inside and outside. Inside, they even have someone making the noodle which was so fun to watch. We came for Magical Dining and everything we tried was so tasty. To start, we tried the Cesar salad (so good with plenty of dressing), bruschetta (was fresh but wished there was a little more balsamic glaze on it), and the pear carpaccio (didn't think I would enjoy this as much as I did, fresh pear that went well with the contrast of the blue cheese). For entrees we ordered the pumpkin ravioli (love a good seasonal dish and the 3 cheese sauce was perfect), tagliatelle with mushroom (personally I don't like mushrooms but the others love this dish the most), pappardelle tomato basil (the ricotta brings a very nice touch to a basic dish), and the pappardelle inferno (the server warned us it's hot and our group likes hot but it was much hotter than expected, not sure I would be able to finish the whole dish by myself). Having been to Turci Pasta several years ago and having had a great experience there, my expectations were a bit high. Unfortunately, my experience here fell short. We came for magical dining at lunchtime on a Sunday. Service was good, ambiance is fine, but the food was the biggest let down. For appetizers we tried the bruschetta (3 slices of bread with chopped tomatoes and onions) and the pear carpaccio (thinly sliced pear with Gorgonzola, very tiny pieces of walnut and balsamic drizzle), both quite underwhelming, basic. Entrees were a bit better with the pumpkin ravioli and the parpadelle tomato basil but it was disappointing to see that there weren't any entrees with animal protein in them -- I think it's reasonable to ask for at least one on a magical dining menu. Lastly, the dessert. While the tiramisu and the cannoli tasted fine, we were served 1 cannoli and 1 small tiramisu in a small (but very cute and creative) plant vase. I don't plan to return. I truly, truly hope others have a better experience here than we did. The food was great, but the experience unfortunately overshadowed it. Arriving at the restaurant was easy-- there was a street parking spot about a block and a half away. Our party was sat outside-- which was fine as the rain was winding down. However, once we sat, we noticed a few bees buzzing around... bees that had no concept of personal space. Unfortunately, I ordered a Sprite, which led to the demise of 2 of them... We came for Magical Dining, and I found the portions well-sized and delicious, though I'm disappointed the entrees did not have protein. Going back to the experience which sadly overshadowed the food, the bees were soon everywhere-- sitting on our plates, flying around, etc. I asked our server if we could move as a member of our party was allergic to bees, and they said no, and that there was no room inside. The bees continued to circle, and soon, one landed directly on me, and wouldn't vacate. At this point, anxieties were high, and the restaurant was very aware of our issue, but kept quietly walking by, and taking my undrinkable Sprite. At this point, I was in tears and asked the server if we could get the rest of our food to go-- we'd only gotten appetizers. They said yes, so we prepared to leave, but soon after the manager came by asking if we'd like to move to an inside table. We moved in quickly, grateful for the reprieve but still pretty shaken. We finished our meal inside, paid and were able to leave. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed by the way the staff handled it-- it was a truly scary experience. Luca Turci is a small restaurant right off of Park Ave. The dining room is cozy with a relaxing vibe. When we were sat down, bread and water was immediately brought to our table. The service throughout the meal was great. The food, however, was underwhelming. The bread was cold and dry. The bread was served with olive oil and it lacked flavor. We asked for balsamic and salt to add flavor to the oil and bread. For an appetizer, we ordered the classic bruschetta. It was very fresh but it needed salt. For my entree, I ordered the pesto pasta. While the pasta was freshly made, it was overcooked and mushy. The sauce was decent, but there was way too much salt. The pasta was also cold by the time it arrived at our table. The chef did send out complementary cheese with balsamic, which was appreciated. Overall, the food was overrated and it was expensive. I've spoken to friends that have also dined here and they agree. Bar Italia and Prato are much better options for Italian. If it wasn't for the excellent service, the star rating would've been lower. read more

BEE-WARE!! Let's start with the food was good. However this experience really left a bad taste in our mouths. We were scheduled for a 5p Magical Dining experience that was for the outdoor patio and although we asked for indoor we were kindly told no despite the potential for rain in the forecast. They would talk to us if the rain became a problem they said. That was fine and understandable. What was ultimately troubling was the warning that did not come with sitting on the patio. There is clearly a bee problem here as multiple tables had multiple bees flying around them. As someone, as well as someone else in our party, are deathly allergic to bees and it made it very uncomfortable to enjoy our meal. Ultimately we asked for our food to go which the wait staff said they would look into. The wait staff attempted to keep it light hearted with jokes however we were very uncomfortable and could not enjoy anything especially with bees landing on our food and beverages. After a few minutes and some painstakingly moments with bees landing on us, the manager asked if we would like to move inside. We said sure but this should have been offered from the get go as they could clearly tell how uncomfortable we were. We moved inside and frankly we could not truly enjoy our meal after this experience. And to top it off, nothing on the meal was comped (including a soda that had to be replaced not once, not twice, but three times due to bees getting stuck in the soda bottle!). So if you have allergies to bees, BEE prepared and bring an EpiPen and don't expect much from the restaurant to be able to accommodate all of those outside. This was definitely a Nightmare Dining experience and was far from magical. read more

But please make it make sense that my husband and I went with friends and he ordered a Caesar salad, and fettuccine pasta with some wine and a beer, I didn't eat or drink a thing, and the total was $126 for my husband alone. It is not authentic Italian food, which is fine, but be aware. The table focaccia was dry. The bruschetta was not authentic. The bread was soggy and in our opinion had too much balsamic drizzle. He also got the burrata which was served fried on the outside and came with ground beef in a sauce. The cheese pull was impressive, but again, that is not your authentic burrata. His pasta? He said it felt like the sauce could have been out of a jar. No animal protein either. The tiramisu was not enjoyable. Tiramisu doesn't have chunks of chocolate on top. And they serve it in a terracotta looking plant pot. It made the table question how they must clean them since those are so porous or if they just toss them after single use? They did bring out "tiramisu ice cream" in a martini glass with a candle for our friend since it was her birthday which was a nice gesture. She said it tasted like they called it tiramisu but it was normal Java chip. Yes, we went during magical dining. But the plates and meals were coming out so fast that it was odd. The outdoor dining area was beautiful, and watching the team make the pasta by hand really showed just how fresh everything is. Highly recommend to make a reservation in advance, it gets busy. My cousin invited me here for a girls' night, and every single dish was so good. They also offer a four-course prix fixe menu for $59! Naturally, we each ordered different items so we could sample as much as possible. It also came paired with a glass of wine with it which was nice! The showstoppers for me were the Burrata Caprese, with that unbelievably fresh pesto, and the Filet Carpaccio--the combination of capers, dressing, and Parmesan practically melted in my mouth. You must get these if you dine here. I loved the Gnocchi Verdi vs the Tagliatelle with mushroom. Both pastas were good, but you can't beat the gnocchi with their three-cheese sauce with prosciutto, walnuts, arugula, and fresh pesto. That combo is absolutely delicious! The tiramisu is not your traditional dish but it had good flavor and of course was so cute looking like a little pot with a plant. I personally preferred the lava cake taste wise. We originally accidentally had a reservation for after the restaurant closed and they called us early in the day to inform us and helped us change the reservation to a better time. The restaurant looks gorgeous and the staff were very friendly and attentive. You can even see a chef creating the pasta by the window. The plating of all their food was beautiful as well. We received free focaccia bread w/ olive oil and a plate of cheese as well. I ordered the pumpkin ravioli and it was absolutely delicious! I loved the flavors and the 3 cheese sauce was perfect. I also had the tiramisu for desert and it was different than a traditional tiramisu and served in a fun clay pot. It had a few too many chocolate chips on top for my liking but once I scooped out a few, I loved it. The chocolate chips add a nice bit of texture to the tiramisu. I had a glass of moscato as well and it was very delicious and at a good price point. Even though the food and drinks were great, I hope they do consider changing the type of table cloths they use. I love Turci in College Park, so when I found out they were opening a location in Winter Park, I was thrilled. Their new location is gorgeous, with a lovely courtyard and stylish, intimate interior. Service was friendly, and I really appreciated how the chef sent out some complimentary cheese with balsamic vinegar as a little bite. LOVE that bread service is included here; the bread was super soft and delicious, but I found myself a little disappointed with the quality of their olive oil. It was very runny, and had none of that rich olive flavor that I would expect; it was also very pale in color. On the other hand, the main course food here was delicious -- everyone enjoyed their dishes and loved the fresh pasta. My Pappardelle Inferno was legit spicy and delicious. I loved the sauce so much. The pasta was delicious and had the right amount of bite and chew. However, it doesn't reheat well; we took home some leftovers, and reheating the pasta overcooked it and it was very soft. The outside seating area and entrance is really beautiful. The inside of the restaurant is a bit small our server was very attentive. We all ordered a different pasta dish. I got the penne burrata pesto, the pesto had good flavor and tasted very fresh. I enjoyed the burrata but it seemed a bit out of place because it was cold. I really liked the pumpkin ravioli, it was delicious! Again the burrata felt a bit extra on this dish. The lasagna was pretty good as well. I wish we could review the food, but sadly we did not even make it that far. We had a 5pm magical dining reservation. We did not want to eat on the patio, but that was the only option available. We live relatively far from the restaurant so we left our house at 4:15. At 4:30 the restaurant calls us and simply tells us that because it was raining they were cancelling our reservation for the evening. The staff was polite but their interactions felt very forced, which created an awkward tone throughout the evening, something just feels off from the minute they greet you. A small but telling detail was how the clients umbrellas were handled on a rainy night, they were left outside on the wet floor and rain which felt careless and unprofessional. Also, be aware of the strict policies. Your credit card is held for the reservation, with a $20 per person charge if you cancel or modify within 24 hours. We were also charged a 20% "large party" gratuity for a table of five, which felt excessive and unusual. The manager's attitude was unhelpful and concerns were not properly addressed. Overall, the staff gave the impression that they did not want to be there. While technically polite, the service felt unnatural. In short, the food is good, but the service, fees, and overall experience leave a lot to be desired. I later read other reviews expressing similar concerns. I've been to the Turci location in College Park multiple times and it's always an outstanding experience. My friend made reservations at this location in Winter Park to give it a try. We asked if we could have a different table that wasn't directly at the entrance and with a bit of hesitation they did change the table, which we really did appreciate. I believe it was a good deal and we got lots of great options to choose from. Starting with the bread they brought to the table, it was really soft and delicious, however, the oil that it was served with did not have any herbs and seem to be very light in color and that's not typically what you would see in an Italian restaurant. The first meal came, we ordered the Burrata Caprese salad. It was delicious and just as we had it at the other location. The next course was the bruschetta and the melon one was certainly the best one. For our main courses, we each ordered a different dish so we can try each other's. While the pappardelle tomato basil was very tasty, and I especially loved that type of pasta, the pumpkin ravioli was by far the best part of the entire experience. It was so flavorful, so delicious, the textures were pleasant, overall outstanding! For dessert, we ordered the cannoli and the tiramisu, and they ended up bringing over the gelato for my birthday. I was highly disappointed in the tiramisu because the one at the other location comes with a little shot of espresso to pour directly on top of the dessert and it is by far the best tiramisu I've ever had in my life. The one at this location was so disappointing, we barely even ate it. The cannoli and the gelato on the other hand were very delicious and I would highly recommend those! I made a reservation at Luca Turci to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant is small with limited seating inside and some patio seating. So a reservation is probably a good idea. The wait staff was polite though there was quite a lull between courses. We were not in a huge rush so it wasn't a big deal for us. There is music playing low enough for conversation, but given the size of the restaurant and how close the tables are if you're next to a loud party that doesn't use their inside voices then conversations can be hard. The meal started with fresh bread. The bread was absolutely delicious. It was a highlight of the meal. Next we ordered a appetizer of burrata Fritta which was excellent. A classic Bruschettas that was fresh and the tomatoes were delicious. They made sure there was plenty of topping on the bread. Next was a carpaccio called sex appeal that was made with pears. We also enjoyed this dish. The disappointment came with the main course. My daughter and husband both ordered the duck and I had the beef wellington. Let's say I wouldn't go back for the main course. It was disappointing. The meat was not seasoned for the wellington. The side of potatoes while good didn't serve as a nice accompaniment to the beef. My daughter who loves duck didn't finish it. I would return for the appetizers. But, would go else where for my entree. And I know the restaurant is new and kinks have to be worked out. read more

We tried out the new Luca Turci restaurant and really enjoyed it. They just opened in January 2025, and are the same folks behind Turci Pasta in College Park which we are big fans of. We were able to grab a reservation for indoor seating as it was chilly out, but we did see they have heaters outside. The host and servers were very friendly and attentive. This is in the former space where Braccia Pizza was. We were served warm focaccia bread with olive oil, and ordered some Chianti and sparkling water. For appetizer we shared the caprese salad and it was phenomenal. If you like pesto, get this and save some of your bread for it. For entrees we ordered the papardelle tomato basil and the seabass with risotto. WOW. Absolutely delicious. I'm so full typing this but still craving that risotto taste lol. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu because it's the coolest looking dessert I've seen in a while. Very creative. Also, I love that the restaurant has photos of all their items. Beautiful restaurant with great decor and attentive staff. Unfortunately , my pasta was served so hot that it burned my throat. I filmed a short video 5 minutes after it was served, with steam, still coming from the pasta . I also felt a bit uneasy about the experience. I could not finish this meal after burning my throat after the first bite. While i cant say for certain, it made me question whether i was treated differently. Overall, the ambiance and service was strong, but more care with food temperature would have improved my experience. read more

Food is really delicious and the service was good. It's no fuss - very intimate space. Really, it's just small outdoor dining and one room inside .... But it's worth it. We had super early dinner reservations (4:30ish) so we were able to enjoy the nice outdoor patio and have a super lovely meal. We noticed around 5:15 things started to get pretty busy. Highly recommend making a reservation. They seem to book up quickly. I honestly love the pasta here -- it's homemade and you can tell. Bread is also delicious I think I still prefer their other location Turci Pasta on edge water because I'm obsessed with their tiramisu. Overall though, it's a really romantic and pretty place to dine. I'd love to go back sometime. The mushroom dish is phenomenal. (And rich!) read more

Luca Turci was great, located right off Park Ave in Downtown Winter Park, Fl. We sat outside and the scenery was beautiful with so many string lights and canopy. They sat us immediately upon arriving and the server was attentive the whole night. We decided to do magical dining where we ordered off a $40 prix fixe menu that included an appetizer, entree and dessert with a $17 wine upgrade that included two glasses of wine. I started with the burrata which was delicious, and got the pumpkin ravioli for my entree and tiramisu for my dessert. The food presentation was immaculate. read more
