Cute little Italian restaurant that had a very authentic feel to it and great service. It reminded me of some of the places I went to in Italy last year. It was nestled right in the downtown of Winer Garden. This felt like such a special place for a date night! The food was delicious! We started off with the bruschetta tomato and it was spot on. I love a classic bruschetta and it's hard to find one without cheese in the US (there were other options with cheese if that's your thing). I was so excited to order it and it did not disappoint. For our main entrees my husband ordered the pasta carbonara and I ordered my favorite pasta bolognese. WOW this is the best pasta bolognese I've found so far in the United States. The flavors brought me back to Tuscany and the pasta made in house was perfect! My husband enjoyed his dish but he is not as big of a fan of the large pieces of pancetta, but that is more of his own personal preference. We ended our meal with decaf espressos and dessert. My husband had the cannoli and I had the tiramisu. It was the best way to end our meal and we enjoyed every last bite. We are excited to come back and try some of the other dishes, the pizzas looked so yummy! Highlight: We had a table right in front of where they make their pasta. It was so cool to see it being made. My wife and I only get a date night twice a month, so we were excited to try this restaurant after a friend highly recommended it and raved about the homemade pasta. To start with the positives, we were seated about 20 minutes before our reservation time, which was greatly appreciated and honestly the reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. The focaccia bruschetta was also enjoyable--the bread was crisp and well prepared, and the mozzarella was excellent. The cherry tomatoes, however, were just average. Unfortunately, the main courses were a major disappointment. We ordered the Pizza Napoli and the pasta with plum tomatoes. The first pizza arrived completely burnt on the bottom, and the charred flavor overwhelmed everything else. We sent it back, but the replacement came out undercooked and doughy, making it inedible as well. The pasta had similar issues. The first serving was far too al dente, to the point where it was unpleasant to eat. We sent it back, and while the second attempt was somewhat improved, it still wasn't quite right. By that point, my appetite was gone and the experience had already been overshadowed by the repeated kitchen mistakes. In the end, we sent all of the entrées back. It's unfortunate because the restaurant has a great reputation, and we came in expecting a memorable meal. This is a cute little spot in Winter Park near Park Ave. It has outdoor seating which for me was a great option because I love dining al fresco. Our waitress came to greet us and told us the night specials. We decided to order lasagna and fettuccine a la puttanesca. I loved my dish, the sauce was tasty and the homemade pasta was delicious. My husband said his lasagna was a bit cold in some areas so he didn't fully enjoyed his meal. To end the night, we ordered a tiramisu and that was delicious. One of the best tiramisu's I have had. Overall, it was a good experience. A plus is that they make their pasta on site and if you sit inside you can actually see the pasta airing. This is a quaint Italian restaurant in Winter Park. The service was some of the friendliest and warm we have ever experienced. You can see the fresh pasta hanging to dry as you walk in. We started with the ricotta and red pepper bruschetta which was on a deliciously toasted bread. For mains we had the lasagna special and the fettuccine bolognese. We see people here all the time and we're very excited to try it! We sat outside and luckily the weather was nice. I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio and we got one of their bruschettas, some meatballs and pasta. We LOVED the bruschetta, my husband really enjoyed the meatballs but we both felt a little disappointed with the pasta. It was harder than we thought it would be with it being fresh. We had a few hours to spare before our flight back to Southern California and we came to this cute town. We were given a sample of pizza at the corner and told where the restaurant was. My daughter and I went to try it and all I can say was everything was amazing. We were seated by the pasta making area and it was so fun to watch how they cut pasta noodles and then we got a small pizza to share. It was fresh and the best we have ever had. We were there for volleyball tournament and when we left we talked to the nicest lady that was outside possibly the owner? For Easter this year we let my toddler pick brunch and wha excellent taste she has. For an appetizer and my daughter's brunch, we ordered a personal pizza -- via Napoli. She crushed it. She ate all but two slices. The rest of the table shared melon and prosciutto. Very refreshing. Pastas are a must. Go inside and watch the pasta being made from scratch. My husband had the tagliolini alla napoletana. Essentially the BEST marinara pasta around town. So fresh. So simple. Our daughter also enjoyed some of his food. I had the carbonara -- so light! My father the Easter special which was polenta and a stewed beef in a tomato sauce. My mother had bolognese. Of course a tiramisu to go! Everything was amazing. Came here with my friend while I was visiting in town and the pasta is fresh, homemade and divine! We were actually referred here from another location we were sitting at down the street by a cute little couple visiting from the Villager's. The flavors melded together so well. They hit the nail on the head with the restaurant name -- these definitely are Rome flavors! The taste of everything was amazing! The flatbread prosciutto pizza was a hit. The steak, and bolognese was great as well. I thought that my carbonara was however lacking in the Rome flavor that everything else had. It was extremely bland. It's a very intimate space right in winter park that has some street tables and smaller tables inside. Larger parties wouldn't fit very well. This is a very cozy little spot with some absolutely amazing food. A bunch of their ingredients are imported from Italy and all their pasta is handmade in-house. Staff is very nice and they have a nice selection of wine and drinks. We came here to celebrate my fiancée's birthday, and they brought out a little hand written birthday card for her. Romes Flavours was a pleasant surprise. I don't eat Italian often due to the carb overload, but this place is worth it. I've been twice in a week and ordered something different both times. I do not eat meat and was accommodated with a vegetarian option that wasn't featured on the menu. I throughly enjoyed my meal. The authenticity shines with their handmade pasta, knowledgeable staff, and cozy feel. They offer outside seating which is a plus, especially for the cool nights we've been getting. I haven't had the chance, but they offer drawings for customers by an artist who seems to be there regularly. Just tip him! Overall, I would highly suggest this restaurant. My only concern is the one bathroom. The restaurant is tiny so it doesn't allow for multiple restrooms but if you don't mind waiting, it's a great place to try out. read more

This time we got the Tagliolini alla Napoletana and the fettuccine allá carbonara. Both were so good especially as the nights are getting longer and colder my craving for pasta is here to stay. The Tagliolini was so good. We didn't opt for a protein and it didn't need it. The pasta was so fresh and the sauce so light. The basil was a great add of sweet to the dish. The Carbonara was exactly what I was looking for. Deep and earthly flavors. The service was great and gave us great recommendations. This is a bit late, but we ate here for Valentine's Day dinner and the food and atmosphere was exceptional. Everything from the bread to the wine, to the ambience and the entrees, we were really impressed. It's very apparent that the food is authentic, especially because everyone who works there has an accent. Since it was Valentine's Day, I noticed they were offering free photos to couples when you checked in for your table, my fiance and I being two men were not offered one which was kinda disappointing even though I understand the hesitation not knowing if we're a couple or not, we did however get a photo by the end of the night. Service stated out wonderfully and our server was fun and charismatic, however another server opened our bottle of wine and accidentally spilled it. My fiance and I are both servers as well so we were totally fine and understanding but I could tell it effected the service afterwards because they seemed very nervous to come to our table which was a shame because it started out so lovely. My fiance ordered the pesto gnocchi and I ordered the pasta carbonara, both were delicious but I'd definitely recommend the pesto gnocchi, it was to die for. While I ordinarily get tiramisu, their Valentine's Day special was a chocolate mousse that we got and it was incredibly decadent and delicious. The restaurant itself was charming, but the service left much to be desired. One of our entrees never made it to the table, and after our food was delivered, no one checked on us for the rest of the meal. The pasta dishes were excellent--fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, the pizza was dry and underwhelming. For a party of two adults and three kids (including two teens), the lunch felt a bit overpriced, especially considering the service experience. We are locals and decided to try after we sampled pizza while walking the Ave. It's a cute and quaint little Italian spot with nice service. My only withdrawal was that it did not offer anything for small children . No small drinking cups, my 4 year old had a large beverage glass and had to use the fork which was quite big for her little hands ( she uses fork and knife to eat ). Also no kids items whatsoever. Portion size for the pizza and appetizers were great but the Alfredo was less than expected for a serving being I'm an also European and expected a bigger portion. As someone who has been to Rome, this restaurant was a pretty spot on experience. My partner ordered a sprite and he was given a glass of sprite imported from Italy. I had the moscato which I really appreciated. Both my partner and I got pasta dishes. He had the carbonara, which he found tasted very similar to what he had eaten in Italy. I had the Fettuccine Puttanesca, which was a new experience for me. It had a lot of strong flavors with the olives and capers. Apparently there is anchovy in there, but it's chopped up so I did not really notice (which I appreciated). The dish was also full of pepper flakes, so it has a bit of a kick, but I loved it. Everything was on the pricier side, but I would say the pasta was worth it. The portions are not massive, so both my partner and I ate everything in one sitting. We sat outside which was nice. I got a sample of their pizza from a vendor outside and decided to try their pizza. They said the bread and ingredients were imported from Italy so I had to try it. The pizza was really great fresh and delicious. The servers were paitence with us asking a lot of questions about wine and what pizza and pastas to try. The only one issues was they did not have real Napkins just paper napkins I had to use a lot of paper napkins and was super careful not to get my shirt dirty. My boyfriend and I were supposed to be going to Prado, but we were on a 45 minute waitlist so we decided to walk around and we came across Rome's flavors. I was pleasantly surprised that they had an open table as it was Saturday night. They took us right to a table and the service was very laid-back but extremely professional and unlike the reviews I thought the service was exceptionally fast and the food was amazing. me and my boyfriend agree that dare I say it this beat Prados. Not only was this food extremely authentic, but the water was even imported from Italy!! Everything house made. It was amazing. I highly recommend.
