ordered late here since I was running deliveries. the counter guy was nice, but it was hard making an order since they were playing loud music in the back. got the meatball and pepperoni papadias and garlic knots. about a 15-minute wait, food was very hot and fresh once it was done. the papadia was amazing, I love the sightly brunt cheese on the crust, meat was good, but I would have loved more meatballs inside since it was mostly cheese. garlic knots where good, not too dough and they were not drowning in garlic oil like other pizza places do. overall, it was pretty good for a first try read more

The food was really awful! "My husband and l have tasted - traditional "Paella and it doesn't taste nothing like this, nor does it look like it! Very dissatisfied with the food of course, the service extremely bad. There was one waitress who kept running back and forth between tables/ serving snd cleaning supplies were left on top of the table/ Windex " Also- super expensive! If you want constipation, Diarrhea, nausea, heartburn or indigestion this spot is the place to be. From there awfully slow service. Terribly rude staff. It all ends up in a 3-4 hour trip to the toilet after eating this food!!! I gave it two stars because after eating here I had to call out the work the next day and was able to master my village to be so solid in the phone game Clash of Clans while sitting on the toilet! Being from New York it is very rare that I go to a chain place to get pizza this was actually my first time ever at a Papa John's. I still prefer the local pizza places over chain pizza places. I will explain below. I ended up coming here at 10 o'clock on a Friday night. This Papa John's location is brand new to the area located in a new strip mall off of N. Plank Rd. I pass this location frequently on my way to and from the city. Papa John's has a sponsor with major-league baseball whenever the Mets score 6 or more runs you can enter promo code and they give you 50% off pizza. Just so happens this past Friday I was coming back from the city and the Mets had scored six or more runs. So while I was on the train I decided to put the promo code in and get a medium pizza just to give it a try. There is a Pizza Hut about a mile down the road from this Papa John's location. So the fact that the Papa John's opened up a mile down the road from Pizza Hut had me intrigued to find out if their pizza really was better. While I was still on the train I went on the app I ordered a medium pizza I enter the promo code everything went through smoothly about 15-20 minutes later I arrived at the actual Papa John's location. There was only one other person inside waiting for their pizza. I'm assuming that they did not order the pizza online. I could see two delivery drivers that were outside sitting on the hood of their car. I went into the location and told them my order they had my order already to go I paid via their online service so everything was already completely paid for all I have to do is sign. The girl working behind the counter was very nice she asked me if I wanted paper plates napkins forks and knives to go along with a medium pizza. I thought that was pretty nice she did not give me about 10 plates a bunch of napkins and some forks and knives. The check in check out service was extremely quick fast and efficient. I still don't understand why people eat pizza with a knife and fork but it was nice that she included that anyway. As far as the taste of the pizza goes. I definitely think Papa John's is better than Pizza Hut and Domino's. It's also a little bit more expensive than Pizza Hut and Domino's. I personally do not eat pizza outside of New York and New Jersey unless it's a flatbread. I thought the pizza was pretty good. Sauce is more of a sweeter sauce. I still prefer my local pizzerias in the area to Papa John's my local pizzerias might be a little bit more expensive. But that's pretty much what I've grown up on. Overall the Papa John's experience was pretty good it was my first time at a Papa John's if you are in the south or on the West Coast I could definitely see why Papa John's would be your first pizza choice. In New York I think it is hard to compete when you're a chain restaurant and right down the road there's a local pizzeria. Personally I just prefer a local pizzerias. I would definitely come back to this Papa John's I would only come back if I had another 50% off coupon I do think 18.99 for a specialty pizza is a little bit expensive for a chain restaurant I can get the exact same thing at my local pizzeria and my local places hand making sausage and meatballs and other toppings. But I would recommend anybody coming to this Papa John's if you're looking to grab something quick. Check out service was extremely fast and efficient and I have absolutely no complaints. read more

Terrible food. Haven't had Papa John's in years so I figured I would give them a try since they have a new cheese stuffed pizza. Absolutely terrible. Sauce tasted funny and overall pizza just didn't toast good. Also had the cinnamon pull apart a which were burnt on bottom. Garlic knots were ok. Won't be back. Waited an hour for delivery from 10 minutes down the street. Called them, they said they couldn't find the address and tried calling multiple times. They didn't. Had to charge me a second time because they voided the order. However now I have two charges. Took another half hour for the pizza to get here. Needless to say it's cold. There pizza looks like crap. DONT ORDER FROM HERE!! Guy finger were 3 inches tall all yellow and green. Dirt all over nails under the nail as well. Half broken off. Touching the food without gloves. Made 5 orders without glows. Well as of right now I placed a order online and my card was charged twice. I have spoken on 3 different occasions with a manager. Twice with the female in the morning and once with the male in the afternoon. No one has even followed up on me. No one has even cared to have the owner or any one contact me with a way to correct this matter. It was my debit card either pull a $20 out your drawer or give me $20 in pizza. I don't mind whichever one but your not going to charge me twice and think it's okay. I would not suggest using the website if you want to place a delivery order. It didn't give me that option. So I called the store asking to have it changed to delivery or add the delivery charge to my order. So then I called the store and spoke with a male employee. The employee told me there was no issue in changing it to delivery. I asked him on multiple occasions is this a big issue because I can just cancel my online order and redo it over the phone with him. Of course he stated no issue had come up and when my pizza was delivered the delivery man gave me a free 2 liter to make up for the inconvenience. Which I assumed was just for the fact the website was being difficult. No when I grabbed my recent I had $21 extra dollars charged and he told me his manager said the extra charge will fall off on its own. It's now been 5 days. read more

Ordered from here twice online for delivery. So many choices and options that sometimes it gets confusing when you go to place an order. The first time we ordered our food arrived quicker than we thought and the pizzas were very good. It was the first time I had their thin crust and I actually enjoyed it better than their pan pizza which was a bit dry to me. This second time we ordered for delivery we were disappointed. Tried their wings - I didn't like them as they were mushy and a bit small - I did like the honey chipotle sauce though. This time we ordered two thin crust pies and one deep dish pie - well the thin crust pies were pitiful - the crust was peeling apart on the bottom and had a very strange consistency - like I was eating an apple turnover because the crust was flaking away and soggy. Also it appeared that they just dumped the toppings on the pie because some pieces were covered with clumps of topping and other pieces had none. The deep dish pie was better this time. We had started ordering here because the only Dominos in the area stopped delivering to our town. We may order here again in the hopes that its better - otherwise we will give up on this location. read more
