Highly recommend checking out Hala 845. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is attentive, and the menu offers a fantastic selection. Everything we ordered was delicious and high quality. read more

To be honest, I'm someone who has gotten 845 almost weekly for two years now. I love their food so much. But I don't understand what happened. Suddenly, they stopped using their 845 bags and switched to a brown paper bag. This normally wouldn't be a problem but I noticed a degredation in food quality around the same time. The chicken tastes... different. It's not good. It feels like they may have cheaped out on the meat they've been using. I love this place but I'm going to take a break until they fix this. read more

I've always been a fan of the chicken over rice, it's outstanding and I order it pretty often as a lunch meal because I work on the move in the City of Newburgh. Today, I accidentally placed my order online from Wappingers, which I wouldn't be able to pick up. Obviously upset but really concerned about double ordering and being charged twice, 100% my own fault, I called the Wappingers location and the man on the phone was like "oh nbd, we'll just phone it into Newburgh for you". It's a little thing but it makes a big difference in terms of service. It literally made my day. Thanks, 845Halal, but Newburgh and Wappingers, for making a damn fine meal and providing top tier service. read more

Just ordered this for the first time and it did not disappoint. I had the chicken and rice and it was delicious. Decent sized portion and meat was very flavorful. The only reason why I took away a star is because they were stingy with the white sauce. Based on prior reviews, I paid extra for additional white sauce and it was still not enough. I don't know about anyone else but when I order halal, it's all about that white sauce for me! Lol. read more

Pleasant service and food made to order. At the time they didn't have what I needed but within 10 minutes were able to get the Peri Peri Chicken up and running. Also a couple of good ice cream options along with a Jolly rancher slushy machine. read more

845 Halal is an amazing place to eat not only are they very friendly the workers and the owner but they give you huge portions of food for an amazing price and it's healthy for you. A lot of places don't understand their serving you unhealthy food and they charging you an almond leg, but at least here at 845 Halal they give you more than what you pay for. Great job guys keep up the good work. read more

Good food, good service. The guy working there was real funny and made us laugh. Chill vibe overall. I'll definitely go back.

I ordered from them for the 1st time. I kept it simple, chicken and rice and falafels. It was very good. Well seasoned. Mild-medium spice. The only thing missing was a sauce of some kind for the falafel, and the chicken and rice. It looked like it was going to be included by the photo, but my rice and falafel stayed dry. I will add it as special instructions next time. read more

Food is decent average pricing very clean dining room. Only issue is it's hard to speak to the cashier. They speak broken English and have a hard time understanding you. I ordered a meal over. The phone got notified that I had an emergency called them back to cancel the order, they said OK and called me a half an hour later telling me my order was ready, very bad communication read more

The food is good but the service could be better. I ordered food for delivery and when I came to pick it up part of the order was wrong. When I pointed this out, the person at the front counter said that my order was what I ordered. That seemed a bit unprofessional to me since I had partially ordered something else. I hope this improves. read more

brand new place on the block, had to try while picking up a grub hub order here. have to say it's very clean and organized on the inside, vastly different compared to others eat spots on Broadway. Got the royal Cheetos combo and a Jamaican beef patty, and my food was made to order, I did not see anything premade and slapped together in haste and all under 10 minutes too. chicken was tender and juicy, 845 sauce was zesty and savory, lettuce and tomato were fresh, bun was okay, wish it was toasted a bit, found Cheetos crumbs alright, but wish I had more and in larger crumbs. I do appreciate that wrapped your sandwich in tin foil and seal it in a clam shell container to go, pretty nice consider it stops any sauce from leaking out, plus perfect for if you want to eat half and save the rest. Beef patty was fresh hot and flaky, well-seasoned and spicy. My fries were crispy and lightly salted, not a soggy greasy mess. they're like an upgraded version of what three different Kennedys in city of Newburgh should be. will be back to try ice creams, jolly rancher slushie's and fried Oreos. high hopes and great vibes, :) read more

845 Halal - Chicken platter - Halal Near Me - Newburgh, New York

Best halal in the area. Do yourself a favor and get the 845 deluxe with chicken and lamb with a 2 piece fried chicken.

Chicken and Lamb over rice is good but the service sucks I don't know why people open up businesses in the hood if they don't like the people that live here. I asked one of the guys who worked there to put my salad separate because it was for work and I would be eating it the next day and he said he can't do it. I explained that it had been done before and he offered to put it on a napkin. I ask if he could use the wax paper bag like last time. He then refused and said he can't do it, and then lied and said he didn't have any meat or rice for the platter. I don't understand why we continue to give these people our business if they don't want it. read more
