Highly disappointed. My wife and I ordered a large Tuscan 6 cheese pizza with EXTRA cheese. Received a pizza that reminded you of cardboard. The pizza was over done... not burnt but close. The extra cheese was non existent... the cheese was so thin and very linear such that it reminded me of a frozen pizza. The taste was as you would expect near non-existent. From order to box was timely but does not offset the lack luster pizza we received. When looking for a cheesy pizza I would suggest going elsewhere. read more

Pizza is very sweet, even sweeter than store bought spaghetti sauce. Crust is chewy and doughey. Stuffed crust wasn't real mozzarella, kind of fake tasting. Wings were o.k. Garlic knots were fine. Jalapeño poppers were hot. It wasn't cheap and the pizza was way too sweet and chewy for our taste but overall it wasn't terrible. read more

Probably the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. After being charged twice for the same order, I called the Biddeford store, where I was told that they couldn't do anything for me until their general manager was in. However, I was directed to call their customer support line. While speaking to a customer service rep I was told that this happens all the time and that I should look again at my bank account because it is just a pending order. Which he was right, it was pending but as a separate transaction. The customer service rep would not let me speak to his supervisor, and continued to tell me that my bank would be able to explain this error on my part to me. I became extremely aggravated and hung up. I called my bank, and there I was told that the transaction was another transaction separate from the one I had already been charged for and they cancelled the transaction for me. The following day the general manager called to check in. I explained to him my bank resolved my issues and the customer support team was awful. And that was it. Needless to say I will never over food from any Papa Johns again. Side note: your delivery guy is always kind and has the best customer service, maybe the customer service team should take a hint from him. read more

They are the one pizza chain that will deliver out-of-area. Courteous delivery. If they feel they took a bit long delivering, they will send you a coupon for a free medium cheese pizza. The garlic/Parmesan breadsticks are wonderful - soft, chewy and full of flavor. The wings are variable, depending on how they are cooked. The wing sauce is tasty. Their brownie is a dream-come-true (but only if you like chocolate.) Now Papa has added what he calls a 'brookie'. This is a cross between a chocolate chip cookie and a brownie (think of it as a pie, where the crust is a chocolate chip cookie and the filling is a soft, warm, chewy brownie. Ooh.) read more

First time ever having papa johns. It was the only thing Open Christmas Eve. For that, it gets 5 stars. We were starving so it was definitely decent. However, am I missing something? Two pretty small large pizzas, one cheese and one sausage, ran over $26. This isn't Otto. It isn't even Portland pie or TJs. At dominoes, this would have been like 19 or 20. For the second time this year, I place that your phone call order to the Biddeford store. A gentleman, of foreign accent, could not understand that I wanted three pizzas, one large and two medium. I repeatedly told him what I wanted on each. He kept repeating my order several times of which I could not understand him. I told him this was a delivery order. 35 minutes later the delivery came, and I got two medium pizzas and that's it. After calling the store, they said that my order only had two medium pizzas. Of the four times that I have called an order in the last few months, not one delivery was correct. The pizzas I got today had grease seeping through the bottom crust which made it look more like a sponge instead of pizza crust. You could literally roll up the bottom of the pizza oozing With Grease Needless to say this is my final papa John's order. The quality of their food has severely decline in the last six months. Papa johns is very disappointing. The pizza is not good, the only reason i would ever order here is because dominos is closed or dominos wont deliver. I ordered a pizza online, and my phone had died so I called the store stating that my phone had died and that i needed to change the number, once i had changed the number I had unfortunately missed a phone call from the biddeford papa johns. I called them back and they refused to deliver to me stating that the driver didn't feel safe. Which is fair, once being a delivery driver myself I understand but when my pregnant wife needs food at 1am and you choose papa johns you hope they can follow through. They could not. I will not ever be giving papa johns my service ever again, seeming how these soft individuals will be eating my food at the store complaining about how awful i was on the phone and as a customer when i simply was trying to feed my pregnant wife. I order from the Biddeford Papa Johns quite a bit. I believe I've been ordering from them for probably about two years now (always for delivery), & I have only had one problem in that entire time. It was about a year ago when I had to wait almost two hours for my food when the delivery time was 30-40 minutes. The GM of the location took care of the problem & I have only had that one problem. The food is always good. Just wish prices could be better as I usually only order now when its 50% off. But they usually do have a lot of good deals as well. read more
