She then shares those images with you right on the screen and tell you all that you want to know about the state of your eyes' health. Now it's $25 extra out of pocket (which I can claim from my FSA), but to me it's worth the money for the convenience and superior (permanent) info. Apparently, some of her patients are opting not to have their pupils dilated; they'd say they need to have their full sight for work or something, say they'll come back, but, too often, do not. I got the sense that she took a chance leasing this expensive machine primarily to improve the care that she could offer her patients. I think that's very admirable. Let's hope more of them with take her up on the offer. I sure wouldn't want to mess with my eyes over $25.

Do not go here if you're looking for chalazion or stye removal/surgery, I made an appointment here…read morebecause it says on their website that they do the procedure to remove chalazions and when I got there they said they actually didn't and just did it on a very specific kind...which makes no sense. The doctor was nice enough and prescribed me more antibiotics but told me everything I already knew about my chalazion. Now I have to call an ACTUAL Oculoplastic surgeon to remove my Chalazion and it's going to take a month longer than I thought it would.

Dr. Chriss has recently performed ReLACS surgery on my right eye and will be operating the same on my left eye in two days. I am completely satisfied and have every confidence in successful outcome. The wait was minimal and I was in and out of the office in less than an hour. Everyone form the front office to Dr. Chriss was helpful and understanding. I had to call to reschedule my follow up and again, it was no problem and I was able to get in a few days later. I honestly thought that I was going to see a great doctor but it only turned out to be a nightmare.

Dr. Sedwick has been my neuro-opthalmologist since 2014. She is a very well known and respected…read moredoctor among her peers and is involved in many academic and journal publications. That being said, she is not the bubbliest/warmest doctor there is, but she is extremely knowledgeable in her area of expertise. I am thankful, as she basically helped in saving my life, and I mean that in a literal way. Whenever she has been wrong, she admits it and when it is time to try something else or call someone else for help, she does. Her office runs like a well-oiled machine, thanks to the assistance of her office manager, Karen. The office per-se is really (like really) small, so they book only one patient at a time, and their work hours a bit odd (9am-2pm/Monday-Thursday). She only accepts patients after undergoing extensive study of your case and only if you've been referred by another specialist, meaning you will not be able to make an appointment just by calling her office. And even if you are cleared for an appointment by Karen, it will not be right away. They do take their time bringing you in. She specializes in severe eye problems which compromise your neurological functions, so she is not the doctor to call if you need a new prescriptions for eyeglasses, nor will she spend time giving you any referrals for such "trivial things". This was an iconvenience once, since I knew she did my eye exam and must have had my script, but whatever, I went to my local Lens Crafter. Anyway, if you ever have to go to a specialist, I hope you get someone that will care and treat you the same way I have been treated and cared for by Dr. Sedwick.

2.5 stars My lastest order did not go as smoothly as the…read moreprevious one. I went in December, had the exam and had a bit of difficulty when making the payment. It was not taking my payment which they said they would call me for to get the payment issue resolved. A good two plus weeks during the holidays go by and no call back so I called to check on the order. That's when they take the missing payment, telling me the order was not fulfilled due to this and me thinking that perhaps the payment had finally gotten processed, was done. Nope. A delay. Another few weeks go and I call... I get told that insurance denied it due to another customer who has the same name and birthday as me, so they are going to contact them and try it again. More weeks go by and I call yet again. Get told the same thing so I ask of the other person has a middle initial, they do not whereas I do. They try again and it seems that the error has been corrected. Again, I am waiting. I called back several days later and get told that the glasses should be here last week. Nope. It isn't until today, 02-17 that they are finally here. Why did I need to be calling so constantly for updates? Why was this issue with the other person not easily resolved since it's obvious we are not the same person? They have a variance which is easy to see with the middle initial which is displayed in my name. The glasses fit well but this last situation has put a dent in my confidence with the service. I was told the issue was now a delay with VSP, which is my vision caretaker so now I don't know where the error truly lay.
