My impression was that he was not suppose to be aware during surgery or be able to remember, but he was. Even when we mentioned this between surgeries, it was the same issue for the second one. As I am a complete chicken, this would terrify me. He, however, has no qualms so was fine. He still needs glasses as he didn't get the $1600 per eye laser correction too. We are back to get the glasses prescription. The lady who did the eye exam was super nice. My dad suffers from anxiety and gets nervous. She was extremely patient with him. This location has a large lobby with a TV. There is a gender neutral restroom inside the lobby. There are also women and men restrooms with located next to the elevators off the hall, outside the office. The office also has a small frame selection. The person helping with frame selection was also very nice.

They told my wife that she coukd get free contacts and she took them up on it. The contacts came in and my wife called to see if she could pick up and they told her she had to come in for a fitting first, this was never mentioned during her last visit! Yes a fitting for contacts. My wife said she didn't need a fitting as she has had contacts before. They told her the fittings were mandatory and the cost was $125. So much for the "free" contacts...my wife verified with them again they refused giving her the free contacts without the fitting. Very shady business practices. We won't ever go back there.
