This time, the water from the upstairs bathtub-jacuzzi leaked to the garage's wall downstairs. This happened when the kids were taking a bath. We suspected it's due to overflowing to the certain limit. (The water did not overflow the bath boundary). NOTE: The bathtub is not used on a regular basis, but only when our grandchildren are visiting and staying. We called Aaron's Plumbing & Rooter and scheduled a diagnostic appointment. We were afraid it would be a major repair. Aaron came on the next day, examined the bathtub and explained what might have happened. He looks very professional, calm and clearly explain the possible options and solutions. He examined the overflow cover on the bathtub. He cleaned and sealed it, asking us to wait for 24 hours before testing. He also explained us the possibility of another solution if this one did not work. The 2nd solution was much more complex and expensive and we were hoping that the 1st solution would work. We followed his suggestion and tested the leak in 2 days. It was the success. I was assured that I'd be called or texted when the technician was on his way. I expected to have to wait the full 2-hour window I was given, but no! I was called about 5 minutes before the window started to see if I was still available. The technician arrived exactly on time, right at the start of the window! After a short explanation of my needs he just said "OK, let's take a look at the space and talk about it." He explained every step of what they'd do to install a tankless water heater, he looked at the whole area to check for pipes, electrical access, spacing inside and out for a condensation line - making feel very comfortable that it would be planned before the installation to avoid last minute issues. A big plus, he told me he'd be part of the installation team. He also told me I should go ahead and get another few quotes. I think these guys are confident they're giving the prices in the sweet spot of costs. Then we spent time just talking about landscaping and plants! I'm not in a hurry to start this project, it's on my list of improvements and I'm just starting to investigate. However, I'm extremely impressed with the service given at this stage, the thorough approach in explaining, and the honestly. I purchased a new dishwasher from the Home Depot and was told I needed to install an air gap. Zeke…read morecame out on New Year's Eve to install a new rubber pipe to accommodate the appliance. When the rubber pipe developed a kink which caused water to run out of the air gap and onto the floor, he immediately came back out and molded the pipe so it would be kink free. He didn't charge me because it was covered by his 30 day guarantee. When the dishwasher installers came a second time and said my valve was frozen, Zeke agreed to come out again on a Saturday to install a new one. Zeke has also come out to solve clogged drains and to install a new toilet. Zeke is great and he doesn't mind getting into tight spaces to solve problems. Also, he doesn't complain about the previous service person's performance (don't you hate it when a plumber comes in and says the previous person you hired didn't know what he was doing and why did you hire him?)

Excalibur seemed honest and helpful and they were able to come out first thing the next morning and get my heater replaced. They did a good job and the new unit looks better installed than the original. They also gave me advice on how to maintain it and what maintenance I could do myself to descale it etc so it doesn't break again.
