Had a delicious chicken salad panini and detox juice. Happily surprised by the generous portion of crunchy chips a little tomato sized roasted spicy sweet pepper. The detox was good, lots of pulp (which I love) but couldn't get to it without a spoon since the straws are thin. Haha definitely will be coming back! Friendly employees and great food! This feels like a real mom and pop shop. I asked if they could do a decaf iced coffee drink (I know decaf is not always available) and they quickly said yes. It wasn't until after my drink was done that I discovered they brewed decaf especially for me, without a moment of hesitation. This was at lunch time, so not necessarily the most popular coffee time. It's a small thing, but I was impressed! Eggplant panini- so delicious!! And they have jalapeno potato chips! I would have never come here without planning to ahead of time, which is really a shame, because the sandwiches are great. I brought in my mom for a late breakfast/early lunch. I got the pesto chicken panini with avocado and a cinnamon twist, and my mom got a turkey and swiss bolillo special that came with a side salad and drink (my mom got coffee instead) and a raspberry almond pastry. The cinnamon twist was on point. It was sweet, but not too much so, and it was both crispy and soft/gooey. I could probably eat one of these every day if I wasn't worried about gaining a thousand pounds. My mom's was a little dry for my taste, but that's what she wanted, so she was a happy camper. We both enjoyed our sandwiches (I think I love pressed breads...) and wouldn't mind coming back again - for either food or dessert. I do think there should be regular seating inside, though. All the tables and chairs within are counter height (stools, etc.), and not everyone is able to sit on these (my grandmother wouldn't be able to, for example). There are regular sets outside, but I think it would be nice if there was an option for that inside as well. Just a suggestion. read more

It's easy to overlook this place! It's a tiny little place tucked away in Signal Hill on a street that is not so appealing. I came here a few months ago with Josh around lunch time. We ordered from the Bolillo Lunch Special. It includes a choice of a sandwich (Mortadella & provolone, turkey cranberry, Albacore tuna, turkey & swiss, or ham & swiss). It also comes with a small mixed green or Caesar, and a drink. All for $7.99. I got the tuna because it was was a Friday during Lent and wasn't supposed to eat meat. The tuna was good. I felt the sandwiches were a bit small for the price. The salad was perfect. It's what all caesar salads should taste like. I accidentally tried my friend's turkey cranberry panini. Oops. I usually don't like the combination of fruits and meat, but this sandwich changed my mind. Overall a very good panini joint. I want to come back here to try their breakfast sandwiches. read more

Hands down this is the one of the best breakfast spots in Long Beach if not the best. Everything is fresh and always well prepared. I order the turkey breakfast burrito with everything pretty much every other day. It also comes with potatoes and a side of fruit. Staff is always pleasant. I definitely recommend! read more

I came here for the first time on 11/10/22. The person that took my order gave me all of the breakfast options that they had as that's what I came in for. My mom and I opted for the egg bacon and cheese panini served with fruit and chips. The food was very clean tasting and just perfect! The chips look like they are freshly fried daily as they had the perfect crunch! They also have fresh squeezed orange juice available. Had driven by this place a 1000Xs. It finally got my attention on Yelp so I decided to try it for lunch I had the pineapple smoothie & the turkey avocado panini with macaroni salad side. I used the online order system & Im glad I did. It was really good in showing me the ways I could customize my order. I made several changes more to my liking that I would have never done just walking in. When it came to the food I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. The juices in the smoothie tasted like they were fresh squeezed. Both the panini & macaroni salad were fresh & flavorful. The macaroni was cooked just right. Very tender. I definitely will keep this as a "go to place" in the future. read more

The lettuce was looking old and brown. Poor excuse for a salad. Tuna melt special, wasn't exactly that! It was more like old tuna that they wanted to get rid of before the expiration date. Presentation was less than ambitious. Amazingly several people came in to dine and various people came to pick up orders. I hope that others were able to get some value for their money. Best part, we'll never go back. Lesson learned! read more

What a great place if you're looking for a simple hot sandwich. I ordered off Postmates, but I noticed there's a few things not on the Postmates menu that I see on their yelp... I hope they can do something about that soon so I won't feel the need to just go there in person instead. I went in to get some breakfast and this is a nice spot to get some food. I ordered a chicken caeser panini with a side of chips and a hummus veggie panini! The paninis were served warm and toasty, will definitely come back again. They have pastries there, which are delicious as well (I got the blueberry muffin and bread pudding). Pretty much everything here tastes good. My fav is the tuna melt and you can't go wrong ordering panini style or regular. You should never complete your order without adding bread pudding with yummy icing or a chocolate chip cookie (it's just somethin about those cookies!! ) Their green detox drink is a good way to round out the meal! read more

Was so impressed by the food today! I remember I had a bit of a disappointing experience at this place a few years back, but something told me to give it another chance today and boy, was I so impressed! I ordered the Hummus Veggie panini w/ fresh fruit, only I replaced the panini bread for a spinach wrap because I was craving something light. The hummus had such a lovely flavor and the veggies inside were so juicy and fresh! The tomato soup came with two slices of grilled panini bread, and was absolutely heavenly as well. I was happy dancing with every bite I took. At one point I was even dipping my wrap in the soup! Will be back again for sure! :D read more

My husband and I were super hungry and decided to stop by this tiny whole on the wall sandwich place. Their Vampiro Drink is delicious, I would drink one everyday if I could. Their Barbecue Salad is enough to save some for dinner. Clean and nice atmosphere. We're definitely coming back. read more

Great little shop. I came here a couple times before COVID and it was a great place to have lunch dates. During COVID times, I like to come when I'm in the area and I'm craving sandwiches or coffee. They have wonderful blended coffee and delicious sandwiches. A personal favorite of mine is the prosciutto, egg, and cheese and they're kind enough to add hot sauce on it at my request. If you order takeout, the sandwiches come with fruit and roasted potatoes which is nice. Always happy to support small businesses. read more

So bomb. The chicken salad panini and turkey avocado paninis were amazing. Also, they have freshly squeezed orange juice that actually tastes like oranges--none of this Simply Orange nonsense with all the added sugar. There's a small parking lot next door, so no need to circle around for hours for a spot. There's a also outdoor seating if you're looking for a bit of fresh air while you dine. read more

No longer supporting this small business. At least once a week since quarantine started, I have ordered the same salad exactly the same way. No onions, no bread, and (recently) no bacon. I don't mind the price increase for one additional dressing, the delivery fee, the "other" fee, and the service fee. After nearly a year of ordering from Panini's, I didn't enter my order correctly so I was sent the standard salad with everything on it. I went to the restaurant and admitted that my order was not entered correctly and asked if I could exchange it for my usual order. I was adamantly refused. I was told that they would not exchange it because they did not make the mistake. If they got my order wrong, they would take it back and give me a new order, but since I messed up, no compromise or customer courtesy. I was so disappointed and upset, I left the food there. I won't support a place that puts profits above people and loyalty. read more

I'm not on the eastside often, so every time I'm there, I ALWAYS go to paninis. I know a sandwich seems simple but it's so good!! I always get the turkey avocado and a mocha... No regrets. Sometimes they're packed during lunch hour so check the online menu and call ahead! They have cookies, muffins, and the other little pastries that look like little cookie sandwiches, the name escapes me at the moment. I usually grab a dozen for my meetings.... and they're always a success. Also, support local businesses, need I say more? read more

Between the two of us we've tried Tuna Sandwich - Definitely not your typical mayo heavy tuna. It was more herbaceous and light than creamy, which was a nice change of pace.
