Recently, I was fortunate enough to be spending time in Golden and in need of GOOD Coffee!!!!! After much deliberation and reading reviews like this, except completely different, I set off on my trek to Pangea Coffee Roasters. Well, that trek led me through a local park that was quite delightful to say the least. Flowing stream, changing foliage of the season.... Right, back to the coffee! IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!! Recent travels have led to the exploration of the wide world of espresso after being a long time pour over enthusiast. Utilizing a palate that has been seasoned on multiple continents, I can unequivocally say that Pangea knows what they're doing! I thoroughly enjoyed my espresso and quiche in their outdoor seating with the fresh mountain air chasing each delightful sip and bite. Make yourself happy and go check out Pangea Coffee Roasters!

Quiet and casual neighborhood coffee shop. It smelled absolutely amazing when we walked up the back side of the building; I guess we knew we had found them before even seeing the sign! Workers were pleasant and buzzing away like busy worker bees processing and packaging their coffee beans away. It seemed like most patrons were walking up to grab some beans. I had a simple hot 12oz Honey Latte prepared half sweet, craving the silky smooth texture. Smooth it was and I was able to enjoy it in their serene and shaded outdoor area while sitting at one of their many lounge-y seating options. I wish more coffee shops like this existed, one without the frills but with that simple and friendly neighborhood spirit.

Awesome selection of coffee! They have little jars so you can smell them before deciding. Also, I love that they take the time to do pour over. They weigh the coffee and it's perfectly crafted. This is a great place to chill with a hot beverage with friends indoors or outdoors.

Wow where do I start the pit over here is excellent I recommend a cup of Ecuador the taste was amazing not only are they friendly but the prices in beans were more than fair, this will be my coffee spot while here for work in the golden area.

Good times at Pangea coffee! Their coffee did not really blow us away, but it's worth a visit if you're going through Golden. They are within walking distance of the school of Mines, and they have a nice little outdoor seating area, with some shade to relax in. They roast their own coffee, which is a plus, and they sell different mugs and accessories as well. They had a wide variety of coffee, lattes, and teas as well as a few different pastries and some breakfast burritos. My husband got their black coffee of the day, which he was not super impressed with, but I got a sweet, iced green tea latte that was really good. There is a pretty small amount of room to hang out or work in inside, which may not work for larger groups. They use compostable cups and materials which I really appreciate. There is one small restroom in the back as well.

    Yummy coffee place!

Whenever I am in Golden, I stop at this coffee shop before my leisurely walk to Lions Park. The latte is spot on.

How do I go about this...we were in golden for some sight seeing and lunch and I wanted to explore Golden's coffee scene and came across this place on Yelp which showed 5 stars so I thought we'd check it out. Pangea is tucked away in a building with interesting and appealing interior just off the main drag. As usual for any new coffee place I went straight for an espresso and sadly had possibly one of the very worst espressos I've had, ever, just unbelievably bad with no redeeming qualities, a bitter burned taste with no sweetness or acidity at all, no balance to be found anywhere. I didn't pay attention to the shot preparation or extraction time so I don't know if it's a problem with their beans or the barista but I'd steer clear of this place like the plague if you want an espresso. Honestly I was shocked because I've had fantastic luck with coffee in the Denver/Springs area (Amethyst, Thump, Story, Harbringer, Little Owl)

    Excellent mocha!

I was back in the area and had to stop by. Ok, I had to go a little out of my way, but it is THAT good! Service was excellent and the coffee fantastic. Great to see people really care about their job. They also have breakfast burritos that are some of the best I have ever had. I also had a cinnamon roll. It was not the same as last time, but it was still good. Ask them to warm it up. Not sure where they get their food, but it is good. Atmosphere isn't as plush as the big coffee shops, but it is inviting. You can also watch them roast the coffee. The staff will bend over backwards for you. You can order their coffee online and the price seems reasonable. I have ordered from them a few times in the past. I stocked up when I was there this time.

Great service and coffee! I bought a shirt for my husband that ended up being too small, and they let me return it.

This space was such a cool find, particularly on West Colfax. Way to elevate the neighborhood! The gentleman taking our order was fabulous and helped me to choose dark roast beans for my love and his stocking. Next up, as it was late afternoon, that means no caffeine for me, so he also suggested a lovely seasonal drink with Warsaw in the name. It was lovely and warmed me up. It's my hope that this seasonal drink moves over to the regular offerings! We also shared a slice of their GF zuchinni bread - delish and so moist. I've already got my eye on returning for a yummy eggnog latte and some breakfast!

The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy inside, where seating is plentiful. There is also some outside seating in the morning sun. Troy is the owner and roaster of Brew Culture for 7 years. There were plenty of staff to handle the increasing number of patrons as they came into the café. There were pastries, bars, burritos, cookies, and oatmeal. This is a well-loved neighborhood spot, but it is feeling some pain due to the construction on Colfax. Today we were lucky enough to be there when a guitarist was playing beautiful music, which we enjoyed while drinking our coffee. We were told he comes about once a month. We loved our visit!
