I was in Woburn shopping and wanted a bite to eat. This Panera is very spacious and clean. I had the Greek salad with bread and it was delicious! Tomatoes, Greek olives, feta cheese, onions, sweet peepers, cucumbers and grilled chicken with 2 dressings on the side. I really enjoyed. The man that waited on me was friendly and helpful. It's located in a big shopping center with many restaurants to choose from and stores. It's fast but on the healthy side. I do like their soups too. Now with summer they advertise their lobster roll. Panera Bread has gone down hill so fast. No one welcomes you when you comin in. No one calls your name to tell you when your food is here. I miss old Panera's SOO MUCH. The soup was always put in on time so you could get fresh, great quality soup but now they only worry about broccoli cheddar soup. The rest, they could care less about the quality. I ordered cream of chicken & wild rice just to receive what looked like cold condensed canned soup/ almost like someone put canned chicken pot pie in a bowl and left it there next to a bag of chips. The manager is on the floor trying to maintain some sort of customer service but he seen my bowl of soups quality and still served it. All the seats in the back were taken so I unfortunately had to be in the front by the door but panera is usually quiet and it should be fine. NOPE, I was talking with my partner when suddenly there was an issue because or so I thought because of yelling between employees and customers. As I'm thinking about leaving, another employee yells as he is opening the door to walk outside, this alone makes me jump because I didn't expect that. I tell my partner we need to leave. Honestly the cashier is a lovely, happy, go lucky young woman but her great energy & attentive attitude is not going to save this place. Panera Bread as a company is not what it says it is anymore. During the Xmas season I got several gift cards for Panera Bread in differing amounts. Each visit to Panera I either had my card or forgot it. I got the bright idea to store my cards on their website. The card number and PIN number were recorded and when I saved the information it was ALL visible. I felt secure for my next visit that I would have it all on line. WRONG. My cell shows the card numbers but no PIN. My laptop at home shows only the last 4 of the card number and no PIN. Naturally I wrote to customer service to get MYCARD account updated to show all my card numbers, but FOR SECURITY REASONS once a gift card is stored on your account you will not be able to see the full information. I was under the impression that saved gift cards are intended as a fast and convenient way to pay for online mobile orders; NOT IF YOU CANT RETRIEVE THE INFORMATION. So I suffer a loss of just under $100.00 in gift cards just for trusting the security of their website. My advice from here on in is just to keep the gift cards in your wallet or somewhere on or near your person. DO NOT TRUST THEIR WEBSITE TO KEEP YOUR MYCARD SECURE AND READILY AVAILABLE. read more

What a disappointment! We were on a long drive, we wanted Panera Bread, and I made the huge mistake of choosing this one. Ugh. No good. The BBQ shredded chicken sandwich had no chicken at all on one half, and a solid lump of chicken on the other. Someone forgot to shred. The BLT was tasteless! Not sure how they made a bacon sandwich that didn't taste like bacon - or even tomato or lettuce. The mango smoothies were even sub-par! Drive a bit farther and go to a different Panera Bread. I went to the Woburn location and I thought I would finally try some soup in a bread bowl. Well there was maybe a quarter to at most a half cup of soup in the breAd bowl which had only been slightly hollowed out. I got a flat bread and a drink. Ended up throwing the soup bowl bread ball out after 3 spoonfuls of soup. Literally all it came with. I asked someone there about it and was told that is the way it comes. Is that true? If it is I don't see why people go there. The flat bread pizza thing was flavorless too. I ended going to another restaurant in that area because I was still very hungry and wasn't about to give them more money. I usually give places more than one chance but not here. This is our go-to place for a quick meal. My absolute favorite is a Caesar Salad made with Chipotle Aioli instead of Caesar dressing. (Oh bring back the southwest Caesar Salad please). I used to visit the Panera in the Woburn mall, but this was my first time in this new location. There are several spots to order at a screen, but you can also order at the counter with a person. We all got Pick 2's, which are a great option for lunch. Everything was prepared well, with the broccoli cheddar soup being exceptionally good. There were a lot of options for drinks: soda, lemonade, tea, coffee, pretty much whatever you want. There's no drive-thru, which is the only downside in my opinion. Since I had a frustrating experience doing delivery from this location, I decided to try curbside pickup. Well, it seems they can't do that right either. I arrived, parked in the designated spot, pressed the button in the app that notifies them I've arrived and tells them the make/model of my vehicle, then waited 20 minutes. Nothing. But I do see two employees standing around having a conversation since there aren't any customers in line. I finally call after getting tired of waiting, I see the girl walk over to the rapid pickup shelf to grab my order. If it's CURBSIDE pickup, why is it sitting on a shelf near the dining room for who knows how long? Also, the drink was missing from my order. Didn't realize that until I got home. There's not really any perks to doing curbside pickup here. It usually takes 10 minutes for them to bring the food out and if you're not in one of the three designated curbside pick up spots, which are usually full, they don't even bother looking for your car and you have to go in and get your food anyway. I love the Asian sesame chicken salad. My go to for sure the dressing is tangy and sweet. Love! However when I did a mobile order my cookie was missing. Luckily I like to check my order before leaving and couldn't find it. The girl literally just finished packing my stuff so I asked if my cookie was in there and she said "yes" with confidence. So I had to go through the bag again. No cookie. She went through my bag and then had to go ask another girl to get her one. No sorry, no my mistake, nothing...Really.
