Was looking forward to trying this place for a coffee and a bagel. So first off I liked the strong brew coffee. I also like the cinnamon raisin bagel. I've had better in both categories, but both were ok. Here's what I didn't like: 1. Coffee is self service. 2. At first, i wanted to order a cinnamon roll and asked if that could be warmed up. I was told I could do it over by the coffee station where there was a microwave. I was caught off guard by that and changed my order to a bagel because I confirmed that they would toast that....hmmmm? 3. My bagel was toasted as requested. My bagel was mishapen. My bagel came with a small container of cream cheese that I would have to apply. Needed more cream cheese. 4. Tables were not wiped down and for the whole hour I was there, I did not see anyone going around to wipe tables. This was a turn off for me. Conclusion: There are better options available that are less work and hopefully cleaner.

A bug was found in my Fuji Apple salad with chicken. So disgusting.

A bug was found in my Fuji Apple salad with chicken. Giving me free extra protein? I'm speechless. I wish I could give 0 or -1 star.

Panera in Wilmington

Slowest internet ever. Stopped in for a coffee and some wifi before having dinner but couldn't even get their Internet to complete a speed test. And the coffee wasn't all that either. Parking lot is narrow and folks zip through here a bit too fast. Watch out.

Asian chicken salad to go

Asian chicken Salad was ridiculous and just think I paid $12.00 for a cup of lettuce made by someone who had their hair wild with no net and no gloves on. I will not return again.

Came over here after spending most of the morning at Bed Bath & Beyond and Lowe's home supply store. Which of course, got us extremely hungry. The place was a Grand Central Station of activity. Still, this staff was able to keep up with the demand and we had a really great chicken Cobb salad with avocado and my partner had a great chicken sandwich with a salad. Despite being a wonderfully sunny day, they don't have al fresco seating, just crowded air conditioning seats... Oh yes, I'm in suburbia... As other Panera Bread locations have undergone a noticeable decrease in quality, this one seems to be holding up well. The two things that I cannot understand about the Panera Bread business model, is number one, egg dishes stop being served between 1030 and 1100, even on weekends. The other one is that the two cash register locations tend to confuse customers and create mayhem among the staff.

I don't know what took me so long to give this location the review they deserve but better late than never, i had an outstanding experience with the staff about a week ago. and i mean THE ENTIRE staff from start to finish was the 'gold team' 1. the guy who held the door open 2. the young man who took my order, after stopping me from using the kiosk "hey i'm not busy, come on over here." 3. the taller lady who was not only cleaning but also checking on a nice busy dad who was feeding his kid mac and cheese. She was basically giving the dad all the tips she could on cleaning up his child besides taking the kid herself! 4. the two guys in the back who addressed me by name, asked if i wanted a nutritional guide and checked if i was okay with both tomato basil bread AND a bag of chips 5. this same taller girl who slid me a cup for some tea 'cuz she saw me just looking confused from all the joy i had then she proceeded to help this elderly couple at their table enjoy their meal too! 6. this guy who brought me my meal. bagged to perfection and served with a smile i swear to you this could have been a disaster but i am guessing this particular night crew was the gold team or something. I went so far to call corporate that night to tell them how fantastic they all were. as for the food it was panera. just that. fresh, and normal food. but if it wasn't for the gold team, i don't think i would have had such a wondrous experience.

By far the worst customer service I had at any panera. They're unfriendly, in a rush & sloppy.

Great cheesesteak. My son and I went halfsies on an Italian Hoagie and a cheesesteak…read more He said it was one of the top twi cheesesteaks he ever had. I liked it but he asked for Cooper cheese. I prefer provolone and I actually like my cheesesteak with lettuce, tomato, onions, abs hot peppers so it's not fair for me to judge. It was really good. The Italian Hoagie was Da Bomb!!! Oh my!

If you're looking for a sandwich that truly represents the "Delco" name on its home turf, Delco's…read moreOriginal Steaks & Hoagies in Chadds Ford is a mandatory stop. Tucked away in the Painters Crossing shopping center, it's a place where the portion sizes are legendary and the authentic flavor of the region is built into every bite. While the "Delco" name is found elsewhere, this specific Chadds Ford location opened in 2006 and has spent nearly two decades perfecting the art of the massive sandwich. It's a classic, no-nonsense counter-service joint where the focus is entirely on the quality of the build--starting with the bread. They don't just win local popularity contests; they are consistently ranked among the top tier in the entire Delaware Valley, earning "Best of" accolades for their commitment to traditional techniques. The Cheesesteaks: These are frequently cited as the largest cheesesteaks in Delaware County. They use a mountain of finely chopped, high-quality ribeye and, most importantly, they serve them on seeded rolls (often sourced from legendary South Philly bakeries like Sarcone's). The combination of the crispy, sesame-studded crust and the gooey Cooper Sharp cheese is widely considered a "best-in-class" experience. The Hoagies: Their hoagies are built with the same reverence for tradition. The Italian hoagie is a standout, featuring thin-sliced premium meats and fresh produce. The "Large" is essentially the size of a human forearm--definitely enough for two meals (or one very ambitious lunch). If you're in the Brandywine Valley and want an authentic, award-winning meal, this is the place to go.

Some of the best food we've had! A hidden gem that seems a bit overlooked? Our family had pizza…read more(the crust was perfect), penna Al la vodka (perfect), lasagna (the best), Gorgonzola gnocchi (balsamic drizzle- genius, and chicken limoncello (delicious). Every single thing tasted so good! Happily took home left overs. The service was great and friendly. It was a bit warm in the restaurant so it would have been nicer if the air was down a notch but it didn't ruin a good meal. We loved it!

After reading the reviews, we decided to give this place a try…read more Upon entering, the restaurant is small and casual, with plush black booths lining the leftmost wall and tables seating up to 2-4 people sitting by the window. The walls are red with a black wainscoting paneling and framed pictures, sconces, and a small wine rack can be found on the red part of the wall. The ordering counter is also nearby and has a display case with pizza pies in it. We were immediately seated after arriving and ordered the following: Medium holiday veggie pizza, which has mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, ricotta, green peppers, and diced tomatoes. We didn't realize that the pizza didn't have red sauce but we still liked it. Hubs said that he needs to read the menu closer next time when ordering pizza. This wasn't the first time we accidentally got a no sauce pizza. LOL. Daughter and I shared Vongole, which is linguini tossed with 12-15 little neck clams with your choice of white or red sauce. She chose red sauce. We also got a choice of soup and she chose pasta fagioli. She liked the clams and said that the entree was nice and saucy. I prefer white clam sauce, though. So, I will try that next time. Fried calamari- calamari golden fried squid with side of homemade sauce. I liked that the calamari wasn't breaded. This is my favorite type of calamari. We should've ordered linguini on the side and this was Hubs' favorite dish of the night. The place filled up quickly after we arrived. Hubs had been wanting to try Italian food in Delaware. This place is located in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking. We were expecting it to be a fancy restaurant when we saw the exterior and were pleasantly surprised that it was a pizzeria. The place felt very homey and we loved it. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely return when in the area to try other items on the menu!
