Hannah in the drive thru was so nice and helpful today and her service made me update and upgrade this review. Panera's food is fresh but their sandwiches used to be so much better. The sandwiches are thrown together so sloppily with VERY little ingredients especially on condiments and veggies. Great soups, great breakfast. Drive thru can have some challenges getting your order out appropriately...check your order before you drive off! read more

I've always loved coming to Panera bread however this location seems a little run down despite it being fairly new. It smells like dirty dish water when you enter. Also the cashier was not able to provide a list of ingredients for the bakery items when I told him I had a milk allergy. I wish this location was cleaner from the inside so I can come enjoy a cup of coffee and lunch here. read more

If there was no stars I'd select NO STARS! I thought I came to Panera for the quality of the food & the great service I am used to getting in Katy. My husband and I are visiting on this side of town and this is by far the worst experience ever! I have never been disrespected through a speaker.... whoever was working on 12/31/2020 at 4:50 pm at the drive thru was a total bitch. Kept asking me anything else ? And kept telling me my total after everything I order as if I was done. In the end she said "is there anything else I can get you? Probably I bet" like wtf? I am doing a low rating only because the employees here. Every single time I go through the drive thru I am rushed by the person taking my order. They don't give you a second to breathe. They constantly ask if you want anything else and don't let you even think. It's very clear they're trying to rush you through and get you out of line. It's every employee running the window too, not just one in particular. Love Panera's food but please work on this annoying factor. read more

Andy, the manager at this location hung up on me after waiting over an hour for my Uber eats and they STILL got it wrong. I do admit that I cursed but towards the end of the conversation I gave him the opportunity to make it right and apologize for cursing. Just picked up salads and both salads had bad disintegrating lettuce inside. Not just dark color but also slimy!! All you need to do is look at the lettuce to see it's gone very bad! read more

Tried getting a delivery order yesterday, was told it was too late, 10 after 8. Nothing on Yelp showed this. Tried again a few minutes ago never got to a check out point so could pay. Planned to use debit card as at hospital with a family member and have no cash. I like their food and the store in League City is great, but this store or their delivery system needs some serious IT work. Good luck to anyone else. Tried them again and both times the food was good,mother delivery timely. Only problem the ordering app is anything but friendly. Takes multiple tries. Food was worth it. The person who took my order was literally incompetent. I asked for a whole grilled cheese sandwich and a tomato soup. Simple right? Apparently not. She asked if I wanted the combo with the half the sandwich. I said no I would like the whole sandwich and she was like ok. I asked if they had the cranberry muffin and she was like uhh I don't think we make that and I was like yes it's the cranberry muffin w like orange zest and she was like OH the cranberry orange muffin like yes the thing listed on your menu that I just asked for. She confirmed the order saying "ok so I have half a grilled cheese and a tomato soup and a cranberry muffin" and I was like no the whole sandwich and she was like oh I thought you wanted the combo. Nope, the whole sandwich like I stated twice already. Not only did the order take 10 minutes in the drive through with no other cars, but I got home with half a sandwich and a blueberry muffin. Tried to make an online order and pay with a gift card. Didn't work! Then tried to make a call in order and pay with a gift card. Didn't work again! Went to the restaurant and made order again. The gift card worked there, but the order was screwed up. It took an hour to make the order and they got it wrong. Not happy! read more

Used to be a regular and preferred Panera to other spots that sold identical options. They keep changing their menu and it gets worse every time. The location on el dorado has really gone down. Dirty, never any customers dining in, yet every table always has dirty dishes sitting there. The employees just stand around and laugh and talk instead of working and worse, the obvious manager of the place ignores it or joins in. We have not and will not go back. read more

Don't EVER use their online ordering. the first time we ordered with them I ordered an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and it came with bacon all over it, which isn't good for a vegetarian. Also that time I ordered an iced latte and it tasted like they poured salt in it instead of sweetener. We decided to give them a try again and this time they completely left some of our items out of the bag. He got excited and said a girl that used to work there was vegan and he offered a few suggestions. His top pick was the half and half. With the stawberry poppyseed salad and half a veggie salad. When this one first opened I would come about two times a week. But then a couple months ago when I visited it was a bad experience. I decided to give it another try this evening. Meh. I hate complaining because I used to work in the food industry and although difficult, I always did my best to give quality service and products. Firstly, I waited 15 mins for someone to come to the front to take my order. Second, the cobblestone they gave me had to be several days old and she put it in a brown bag instead of a plate. The wait for the food wasn't long, but when she came out with my order it was all wrong! And they forgot to bring me the apple I ordered. I have eaten at Panera for years. When this new location opened, it appears with all new staff that has no idea what they are doing, I realized it would take a bit for everyone to learn the ropes. Unfortunately, Panera has jumped into the gun rights debate on the side of gun control and is asking law-abiding, licensed, citizens to not bring their weapons into your restaurants. Fair enough. I won't, because I will no longer patronize your restaurant. Your food is overpriced, and about half the time you screw up my orders. The last chicken ceasar salad I got had no chicken on it. So rest assured, I won't be carrying my weapon in your restaurant, because I will be somewhere else. read more

I went there yesterday morning to have drive through breakfast for me and my wife. No big deal. Just moved here and loved the idea of a panera bread down the street. Got an Asiago bacon egg and cheese and shortly after that my stomach did flip flops and even at the current time my stomach is still doing flips. I love the baked goods at Panera, but I've experienced rude behavior and saw some questionable sanitary practices that I was not thrilled with in the past! Yesterday morning (around 10ish) I visited to pick up a cranberry muffin() and a gentleman before me had placed a large order with several bagels. Well the cashier, a female, can't remember her name, was filling the order. I watched her take the rack the bagels were in and pull it from the top shelf (for easier access I presume) and she was going to place it on top of the trash can directly in front of the bagel slicer, but saw that the trash was full, so she placed it on the counter. The cashier then took her gloved hands and proceeded to push the trash down into the trash can. Without changing her gloves, she begins taking bagels and slicing them! Ughhhh, I was totally disgusted! No sanitary sense at all! Who does this, even if you are hurried to complete an order, you should be cognizant of ensuring you are sanitary with people's food, especially within public view! It makes me wonder with this and previous experiences what goes on behind the scenes. Train your staff better Panera! I gave a 1 only because I love the the muffins read more

By far the most relaxing lunch at Panera Bread ever! The girl that took our order (sorry I didn't get her name, but she was a petite young lady with short dark hair) was nice, patient and very helpful. The salad my daughter wants is no longer on the menu and the cashier "customized" another salad to make the salad my daughter wanted. Then we sit down and our food is brought out by an incredibly happy, nice young man named Jonathan (I got his name before I left). He stopped by a couple of times to make sure we had what we needed. I'm glad too, because we forgot to get our chocolate croissant. He readily got it, plus extra dressing we needed. Followed by refills on our drinks. Seriously, it's Christmas Eve and they are working and NOT in a bad mood. Very pleasant experience. Kudos to nice people working today! read more
