This Panera is near my kids tutoring place. The kids seem to like their sandwiches, Mac and cheese and soups. It's convenient and tasty so I take them there often. Today was a bad day for Panera as my daughter saw a hair sticking out of her sandwich, gross! Also, the place was so messy, tables were dirty, trash on the floors.. may have to look for another spot if they don't shape up.

I'm a little surprised by the low Yelp rating (2.7 Stars at the time of my review). This location is always busy at lunchtime. Service is friendly and the food is good. They have a self-order kiosk, or you can order in-person at the counter, which is my preference (I like speaking with someone). Grab your pager, find a table, and wait to be buzzed. You do have to pick up your own food, but that's not too bad. I especially love their Broccoli Cheddar Soup, and usually do the half sandwich/cup of soup combo, which comes with a bag of chips or a baguette.

I often come to this place to eat because it's close to my child's school. A lot of people also come here to work on their laptops, and if you're a student at Mt. SAC, chances are you've been here too. They offer unlimited coffee and drinks, which you can help yourself to, and the monthly membership fee is very affordable--I think it's much cheaper than renting a co-working space. The staff here are also very friendly. As for the food, I think it's decent, though during peak mealtimes the wait can be a bit long. Sometimes groups of students also gather here. I usually end up coming several times a month. You know what's really interesting? There's an older gentleman who always comes in with lots of bottles and secretly fills them up with coffee to take home. Every time he comes, he does it in this mysterious way, but he takes a lot of coffee. Even though the drinks are unlimited, it's not really meant for you to take home. I think the staff recognize him, but he's just way too blatant about it. People like that can really ruin the spirit of having "unlimited" drinks.

I've never been the biggest fan of Panera, but my opinions may have changed. Ordered take out and got the Spicy Steak Asiago Bagel Stack and Balsamic Chicken Greens with grains salad! 5/5 for steak bagel 5/5 for the salad Was pleasantly surprised!

This was a good spot for me to go to during lunch, when I was still working at one of the schools that wasn't far from here. They seem to be quite organized with the way they handle their orders, and I don't find myself waiting any longer than 5 minutes. You can help yourself with your own hot coffee and cold beverages, so it's quite convenient. Honesty, I'm not that big of a fan of the menu items, because they never really have anything I like besides the asiago bagel sandwiches. These sandwiches are like my favorite thing here. I prefer the chicken over the spicy steak. There's a good amount of room in this location, and it's overall a nice place.

I've come here several times and the food for the most part had been fine. The employees/customer service at the register and pick up counter had been fine too. They could learn to check the women's restroom on a more regular basis though. There is always trash on the floor and it's always out of something (toilet paper, paper seat covers, or paper towels). I've been to other Panera Bread locations and the restrooms there were always clean and stocked and you can tell because they have a paper on the door that it had been checked every hour. This location can learn a thing or two from other locations.

Is the patio area in the back opened for outdoor dining? Thanks.

It's not--I was wondering myself so when I went there this morning, I asked the manager. But who knows--it may open up eventually since the COVID situation seems to change often. Hope that helps!

Wow -- My Lunch Spot did not disappoint…read more My partner and I travel from LA to Riverside pretty often to visit family, and we're always on the hunt for new food spots along the way. Traffic was brutal as usual, so we decided to stop earlier than planned and came across My Lunch Spot. After checking out their website and seeing the detailed sandwich photos, we were sold immediately. And what better time to write a quick review than when sitting in traffic. We placed a pickup order for two sandwiches: * The Turkey Club with extra provolone * The Bulgogi Beef Sandwich with jalapeños When I walked in, the ladies behind the counter greeted me right away and had my order ready to go. Fast, friendly service -- always appreciated when you're hungry and sitting through SoCal traffic. I also ordered a combo with a large drink and chips, and tried the Lavender Earl Grey iced tea. First thing I noticed: the place was spotless. Seriously clean and well kept, which honestly says a lot about a restaurant. Now the important part -- the sandwiches. As soon as I opened the Bulgogi Beef sandwich and pulled the pre-cut halves apart, the melted cheese stretched perfectly between both sides. At that point I already knew it was going to be good. And it absolutely was. The jalapeños added just the right amount of heat without overpowering the flavor of the beef. The Turkey Club was equally satisfying. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and made with care. Even the pickles stood out -- crisp, flavorful, and surprisingly the perfect addition to each bite. And one more thing: the Lavender Earl Grey iced tea was really refreshing. Just a heads up, it's unsweetened, but after adding a packet of sugar it was perfect. Safe to say we found a new regular stop on our Riverside drives. Big thanks to the ladies working that afternoon. We'll definitely be back.

I have not been able to check them due to the hours, but recently I had time to stop in. They are located in a business park and parking is a bit limited in the front. You don't see much from the outside because of the tinted windows, but inside they are working efficiently. The staff greated me when I entered, by the vibe of the restaurant its a family owned business. The staff was welcoming throughout my entire time. I asked which hot sandwich was their most popular. The gentlemen said the Beef Bulgogi Sandwich. I opted for that one and the 6in option. You can choose your style of bread as well. The inside has plenty of seating and they will bring the sandwich out to you. I would say this sandwich was as advertised! It was tremendous! The sweet and savory flavors of bulgogi in between bread is a recipe for success! Flavor bombs in every bite! The staff even asked if I wanted jalapeños and of course I couldn't say no. It added perfect amount of heat and elevated the tastes of the sandwich. I would say My Lunch Spot definitely delivered for me on my first visit! If I'm in the area again before closing I would happily try more subs/sandwiches. They're a local favorite and I can see why. Thanks for the great lunch! ( ^_^)b

I'd opt for the 8 in next time because the regular disappeared too quickly. I tried the Zylstra, which I didn't realize was someone's name until I looked at the paper menu and saw "Coach Zylstra" listed under the hot sandwiches. All the ingredients complemented each other well and the bread was very thin but crispy, so it didn't detract from the fillings. My boyfriend loved his pastrami sandwich and regretted getting the regular as well. It's a small family-owned business that seems to have regulars, which is very endearing, but most people take their orders to go. The staff asked which wrap I would like and I went with the spinach. During lunch there was a small flow of customers. My order was ready fast. There had some hot sauces to use by the soda dispenser. This presentation looked amazing! I love Caesar salads and enjoying in a wrap form was new experience for me. Solid option in my opinion. Many textures going on with every bite. Crisp lettuce and crispy croutons gave this soft wrap the crunch it needs. I would order this again on a return visit. Overall, a good experience for my first time. There were plenty of parking as it's in a shared plaza. For the store, it's a moderate size but it was definitely busy at the time we went. For ordering, you'll need to order at the counter before sitting down. After browsing the menu, we decided on the pink vodka pasta and the rich miso pasta (Taiwanese sausage added). American Express is accepted as a payment option. The staff gave us a number to place on the table we sat at but we were free to grab any seat we liked. For seating, there were a few tables for parties of two and limited tables for bigger groups. Keep in mind if you need water or extra napkins, they'll have those near the bar seating. Both the Pink Vodka Pasta and Rich Miso Pasta exceeded our expectations! The miso pasta leans on the creamy side but pairs very well with the pink vodka pasta. The miso pasta didn't come with any protein by default, so we were glad that we added the Taiwanese sausage. Fun fact is that the meatball from the Pink Vodka Pasta is vegan! The portion size was super generous from both dishes and was beyond just two people. I wasn't expecting to discover pasta dishes that I'd consider as one of my favorites from this visit! I'll definitely come back to try other dishes.

Great food, front-of-house needs a bit of work…read more.. We made reservations for Mother's Day brunch a week ahead and thankfully we did as they had booked up at least 1 or 2 days before. Parking is super easy as it's in a plaza and shares a big lot with other businesses. They had a special menu, so I'm not too sure what is and is not part of their usual menu, but this is what we ordered: 1. Baltimore Crab Cakes (comes with 2): we were pleasantly surprised as it came with a side salad; the crab cakes themselves were not dry at all and came with a good amount of crab. Delicious, 5/5 2. Heirloom tomato and stone fruit salad: one of the things they pride themselves on is sourcing their ingredients locally and sustainably. You can really tell with this dish that all of their ingredients are really high-quality and fresh. The stonefruit was super sweet. The price ($18) was a bit high for the portion size, so this was a 4/5 for us. 3. Crab & tonnarelli: really good cook on the pasta; my husband is really picky on pasta that's overcooked, but this came to us perfectly al dente. There was a good amount of crab as well, so we appreciated that they didn't skimp. That said, the taste was a bit one-toned and underseasoned, which is a lot coming from us since we typically complain about food being too salty. If it came with a bit more salt, it would've been one of our favorites. 3.5 (maybe 4)/5 4. Pork sisig and garlic rice: we love sisig, so we had to order it. While it was super flavorful and delicious, we couldn't finish it on the spot since it was pretty salty and we were getting full. We did take it home and cook some more vegetables into it to dilute the salt a bit. 4/5 5. Ricotta cheese pancakes: super fluffy and airy, you can tell why they need 20 minutes to prep them. Again, the fruit they used was super fresh and sweet. Loved, no notes. 5/5 Service-wise, there were some hiccups with our orders. Our salad came to us without the burrata and when we asked them about it, it took about 3-4 people double-checking their menu to confirm it actually came with burrata, then a handful more minutes to rectify it. It seemed strange to me that they were unfamiliar with their own menu. Our pork sisig dish came out much later than every other dish and our waiter had to check up on it a few times, so it may have just gotten missed. There seemed to be a lot of people working in the front, but somehow hard to flag them down and get helped when we needed it. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as it was Mother's Day and I'm sure it was busier than usual. Our waiter was also gracious in comping a drink as a result of the long wait for the sisig. Overall, we'll still come back as we want to try other dishes and we do appreciate the freshness of the ingredients and their integration of vegetables with dishes, which can sometimes be hard to come by. Just wanted to provide some feedback on service in hopes they'll take it constructively.

I was craving a wrap so why not come give em a try. The parking lot has plenty of spaces as it located on the long strip mall in this part of West Covina. The location is pretty chill and quiet outside of the TV playing soccer. The staff who took my order was friendly and allowed me to try sample some smoothies.
