I'm not thrilled for 2 reasons. All I wanted was a bagel, mayonnaise, and avocados on both sides, left open-faced. It used to be that I would pay for the bagel and avocado. That's it! Now they make me pay for an entire sandwich. Really? What's worse is that they then made my sandwich, but barely used a quarter of an avocado for both sides. On Friday, September 12, I placed an order for delivery of half a tuna salad sandwich and half strawberry poppyseed salad. I paid $24.50 for these two items to be delivered. When my order arrived I found that the sandwich was only 3 inches wide(at its widest point)... upon calling Panera. I was told there was no way of compensating me because I didn't have an order number and I ordered it through Uber. We are frequent visitors and it has improved dramatically in the past month. Employees seem friendlier the restaurant is cleaner inside and out. It is nice to eat and not look at garbage all over the parking lot like in the past. The positive change is so nice to see. First time trying this Panera Bread location. We went through the drive-thru to order. The drive-thru employee was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Upon entering the drive-thru, we noticed the rather large dining room inside the restaurant. It was packed! Usually a good sign. We decided on the You Pick Two option. I ordered the cup of autumn squash soup and half roasted turkey and avocado BLT. I chose the French baguette as my side. My husband chose the Green Goddess caprese melt and French onion soup. He picked the chips as his side. Our bill came to $35. We thought that was a bit spendy for fast food. The autumn squash soup was very good. I loved the pepitas on top! My half turkey sandwich was quite disappointing. It looked nothing like the picture. Not much meat, and the cooked bacon was cold. They totally forgot the mayonnaise, and the avocado was more like a spread than sliced like the picture. It's definitely not worth the $9 price tag. My husband enjoyed his caprese sandwich. It was large and reasonably priced. His French onion soup was okay. He didn't get any croutons on top and thought it had too much cheese. Overall, the ingredients were fresh, but not presented as advertised and too spendy for what it is. We probably won't be back. Then put in your own pager number and take your own cup ----- but there are no pagers--- and there is no cup... There is no one to help you. Oh, wait! Another sign tells you to go to a pick up counter. There is no one at the pick-up counter. Everyone is busy working already. Finally someone comes. She places the cup upside-down next to her -- like two feet on the other side of the counter. The pager number doesn't matter. The employee has to call out the food. It's not the employees' faults. It is terrible to see that the soda machine that was provided through Pepsi would not service their machines, knowing that mold is growing. Management is horrible knowing that their employees and the public drinks from this machine I ordered my food here. I ordered a water, but I couldn't even drink the water due to having mold growing underneath and inside the machine. I spoke to them management and the manager at the time looked at me and was not surprised, but at the same time said that they can't do much due to them renting a machine. It's not the employees for his. They say they clean the tips of the machine, but the machine itself is outdated. It should be a new machine. I told him due to people passing away from drinking from machines like this. She said she'll speak to the general manager, but really didn't make no knowledge or anything or anybody to clean it here I provide pictures. Hopefully, the restaurant can get this fixed. This is a $33 dollar meal. Total waste of money. One sandwich cut in half...and what they call a bowl of mac and cheese. The bowl was no more than 1/3rd full. We ordered the bowl to share assuming the it was going to be a full bowl. There was enough mac and cheese in the bowl to fill up a toddler. The sides offered with the sandwich were a bag of chip, or an apple or bread. Why would I want a side of bread to go with a sandwich that already has more bread than meat? By the time I got to the last few bites of my sandwich, there wasn't any meat left. The service was INCREDIBLY slow. No way should it take over 15 minutes to make a lack luster sandwich, cut it in half and put a scoop of mac and cheese in a bowl. The thing with Panera is that it's always hit and miss, and this place is definitely the latter. We ordered ahead but ate there, and the food wasn't hot, despite the fact that I had been there at least fifteen minutes before our order was ready. There were a lot of delivery orders taking priority. The little things: I ordered a bowl of soup with bread, and then two sandwiches with bread as a side (to dip into the soup). We got two pieces of bread instead of 3. The order said it would be ready in ten minutes, but it was more like 30, and cold. The big thing: My steak and cheddar sandwich was disgusting. They were out of pickled onions so I chose frizzled instead. I opted out of the horseradish for mayo instead. My sandwich was a piece of days old meat (that's what it tasted like) thrown onto bread with no onions and either a really bad excuse for horseradish, or NASTY Miracle Whip, neither of which I asked for. I expected real mayonnaise and can't stand Miracle Whip. I could only stomach the first half of the sandwich, and only that much because dipping it into the soup helped. I brought the second half home to my husband just in case my sense of taste and smell were off, knowing that he's not nearly as finicky as I am. He's a he'll eat anything kind of guy. I did not mention the miracle whip, and what was his response? The sandwich tasted really old and the spread was horseradish that reminds him of miracle whip. I spent $40, not including tip, on two sandwiches and a bowl of soup. Subway does a better job with their sandwiches, and that's not saying much. I ordered ahead mostly because I wanted my customizations done right (because in a busy lunch time line, it's hard to hear everything people say - nothing against the cashiers), and what I got was a sloppy, nasty sandwich that I probably wouldn't feed a dog. read more

Stopped in this very nice Panera before my hair appointment. This is a large Panera. That was very bright and clean. Nice bathrooms as well. The staff is very friendly and I did not have to wait. Long in line before I ordered. The breads all look fantastic, and the cookies. Wasn't on my menu today :-) I'm trying the green goddess Cobb salad, / chicken. This is all large nice salad. I probably should've gotten the 1/2. Very generous. Nicely seasoned chicken eggs, avocado, tomatoes, thin slices of red onion, bacon, and mixed greens. This include arugula. I like arugula, but I must say, there was too much in the salad. There was also Romain spinach, and some other chopped lettuce is. The dressing was delicious. For me it was overdressed. Next time I will ask for on the side. Very tasty green goddess. Got a piece of baguette with that and some butter. Delicious bread. I've eaten at Panera Bread on and off for at least a decade. I don't think it's this particular location's fault since I've noticed this at multiple locations for the last couple of years or so, but there has been an overall decline in the quality of ingredients while the prices have skyrocketed. My go-to is always the Bacon Turkey Bravo and creamy tomato soup and has been for years. Lately and today, that meal has been significantly flavorless across the board. In the past, it all used to taste very good. Now it's all pretty dang bland. What hurts the most is that I dumped $17 for bland food (and for what *used* to have flavor in the past). I could have paid a little bit more at a nice restaurant that would have delivered in flavor. I don't think I'll be coming back anymore. Panera Bread corporation better invest in quality ingredients because I'm not the only one with these complaints and have noticed the decline in quality. I'd give one star for food, two stars because the service was good--very nice and efficient employees but I doubt they have control over the recipes and quality of ingredients. read more
