Service is friendly, prices are low, especially considering the gargantuan portion sizes, and ingredients are fresh. If you like cilantro, this is your place because they load whatever you order up with it. I'm thankful that I ordered without cilantro because I can't stand the stuff. The overall flavors are nothing noteworthy, and the tortilla for the burrito (you can make any bowl into a burrito for an extra charge) was cold. Were it heated up first, it would have made for a better flavor and allowed it to be rolled without tearing (mine had a tear in it). I also paid extra for chicken to be added, and there was very, very little chicken in the burrito. I really wanted to like Mighty Bowl better than I do based on the outstanding reviews, and perhaps I went on a bad night, but I just wasn't overly impressed. I'll give them another chance the next time I'm in the neighborhood.

I'd walked by this indoor food cart pod for years before someone told me about it, and after I…read morefinally ventured in to check the place out, I was completely sold! There's a decent variety of about a dozen different businesses here, from donuts, to ramen to Indian, Thai, and more, plus a bar at the center. There's also always a line for just about everything, particularly the booze, so come prepared and patient. Seating can be a bit of a musical chairs-esque scramble as well, but that only further attests to the quality and popularity of this place. Don't overlook it as I did...pop in and see for yourself! The noodles at Matsunoki Ramen in particular are not to be missed!

The location is not ideal in terms of access and some of the typical challenges you would expect in downtown Portland. Otherwise, it's a fun experience for an occasional visit and the food options are plentiful. There are about eight food concepts in total on the perimeter of the building with a main bar in the center. I went with a rice bowl from one spot and had a few of the mini donuts from the other location for dessert. I also saw a Thai food concept, a smoothie bar and a ramen spot. There are a lot of different seating options available, but none of them are particularly comfortable. When I went for dinner, the place was only about half full and the trash area was a little bit unkempt. Parking is available on the street or in adjacent lots but everything is paid during typical daytime hours from about 8 AM until about 7 PM. The bathrooms do require an access code but are available on site. Personally, I feel like this place had a bit more clout when it first opened before the pandemic. But, it still has some relevance and it's a great spot for a casual meal just because of the variety of options that are available. If you come with a group, everyone can try what they like. Overall, a good showcase of some under the radar food establishments that conglomerate in a fun shared space. Check it out!

My son and I ordered burrito bowls with beef, and I also tried the birria bowl with chips and salsa from Mi Pueblito Mágico. The staff member was so helpful and patient while helping me--thank you for the excellent service! I also got coffee from Best Coffee, which was a great addition to our meal. We enjoyed trying food from different places, and everything was tasty. We'll definitely be back! A great place to visit and enjoy and very clean inside. Bringing together a bunch of different food styles, and just making a great spot to hang out. This has a great ambiance and atmosphere, with the vendors and some seeting downstairs, and most of the seating located in a loft above, overlooking the floor below. The selections here are also a really cool mix of things. The main restaurants are a Ramen and Izakay spot, a place of Indian curry, and a Mexican food space. And in addition to those, there is a full bar, along with a small coffee counter right near the entrance. We stopped by on a Saturday evening, after a day of exploring, and were glad for such a fun little joint. If you are downtown, you can easily take the street car over, or just walk, but there are precious few parking spaces nearby. Service seems pretty chill, for the most part, through this is a place you bus your own tables and such. And the prices we paid for our meal were decent, on the whole. So yeah, an enjoyable little place, with lots of big choices. Definitely worth coming back to.

Talk about nostalgia! I was in Washington looking for food recommendations when I was led to Smack…read moreTown. It was only after pulling into the mall that I realized it was inside the food court. Normally I would've tried to find something else, but to be honest, I wasn't mad about it. Surprisingly enough, Oregon's capitol city of Salem is smaller than I'd expected before making the move. There are a couple of what used to be thriving malls that have dwindled down to host small, lesser known businesses. I grew up in the 80s when malls were the social hub and all the rage. Walking inside, I could see the adaptation to today's consumers with remnants of days gone by. Poised right by the entrance is a K-Pop store and adjacent Anime Town. The little kids play area was just as obnoxious as I remember, all screams included. Upstairs was a bungee style trampoline for bigger kids wanting a little more thrill. There was a Hot Wheels vending machine and fresh fruit dessert stand featuring the ever popular Dubai chocolate over strawberries for a mere $18 (ouch!). Perhaps it was the season, but the parking lot was packed. It was nice to see some of the favs of my youth; PacSun, Vans, and Hot Topic, and FYE. There were also some cool shops I'd never heard of. We enjoyed our lunch and had to depart with little time to spend browsing, but I really want to come back.
