    Hair baked into cookie
    Nichole B.

I am, quite literally, the most disgusted I have ever been in my life. I came to this Panera location with a friend for lunch today. I ordered a cookie with my food to bring home for later. There is a significantly sized hair in baked into this cookie. I only saw it from the inside of the package when I was about to eat it. I am so upset, disappointed and grossed out. Things happen, but I promise someone wouldn't miss this if they paid attention to the food they packaged for customers. The service was also very cold. I ordered a drink and was treated with annoyance as Panera removed self-serve cups. Do better guys. Last time I ever do business here.

Ordered lunch for myself, my wife and a counter part of mine to go. They forgot a whole entire sandwich order and the attached picture is what the lettuce looked like. Very disappointing.

My son loves the Fuji apple salads and caramel frozen coffees! It's pricy but delicious.

We chose Panera, because we were looking for an option that was fast, filling and a little nicer than fast food. There is the option to order at the counter, or at one of the self serve kiosks. As there was someone at the counter, we opted for one of the self serve kiosks. When clicking on each item there are options for more information about it. One of the drink options was listed as unavailable, but after we ordered, when we went to fill our cups it was in fact available, and in working order. Food was in the pickup window quickly. As we were in aa hurry, that was great. I immediately started eating my squash soup. Soup was barely warm. It is a sweet squash soup. Tosted Frontega Chicken sandwich was kind of there. They went light on most of the fillings. One of my companions ordered a salad. That looked amazing. They went heavy on those toppings. The bread served with the soup was my favorite part of the meal. If looking for a quite place to work this seems to be a popular one. More than half of the patrons during our visit had either laptops open, or had papers spread across their tables. There is a fireplace in the dining area that creates a nice warmth on cold days.

This must be an acquired taste. It wasn't for me. They had their grand opening and had $2.99…read moreoriginal sandwich. The bread is funky - tastes a bit like rye, but it's white (or wheat), the "sauce" is horrid, and the entire thing has kind of a dense quality that doesn't quite hit the mark. Again, probably an acquired taste, something some people like, but I suspect it's a select few. It's WORK to get through this thing, and you regret eating any of it finished, or in my case, given up and tossed the remainder you didn't eat. Thankfully, I wasn't a winner of a free sandwich every week for 52 weeks as part of the grand opening celebration. Nothing about this is a celebration. It is a shame really, because the surrounding area shows promise in development, you should pick another restaurant nearby if Schlotzky's is not your thing. Now I know why the one in Florence closed years ago.

We ordered 2 sandwich meals and a kids pizza meal. Our food was good despite the negative reviews…read moreon here. The pizza was definitely more tomato tasting than we prefer. Not wrong, but different than we are used to. Employees were kind. The time it took to prepare our food was reasonable, especially on a Sunday afternoon. Now the only reason I am giving a 4 star instead of 5: this location has Cinnabon. The counter appears to have Cinnabon items under a warmer but this was misleading. My churros were hard, stale, and cold. Based on the menu pictures, I expected it to come with icing dip. We left and I realized I did not receive icing. I should have went back in to complain about the taste but didn't. My husband got a cookie sandwich with icing in the middle. Assuming this was also a Cinnabon product, he said this was very good. Conclusion: I will definitely return for the sandwiches.

The Fat Man tries to find hidden gems, holes in the walls, or any small mom-and-pop establishment…read morewith good food. While traveling in northern Kentucky, he stumbled upon one of these places, The Farmstand Market & Cafe. Farmstand offers comfort food with a farm-to-table focus served in a cozy space with a bar and attached market. We started with the Goetta Hanky Panky Dip. This was made with cheesy goetta, bagel chips, pumpernickel bread, and light rye served in a cast iron skillet. The dip had a good sausage flavor with salt and some light spice while being cheesy, creamy, and full of flavor. The bagel chips were very crispy but were not served warm. The pumpernickel and rye were dry. Each complimented the dip, adding texture to the bite. My wife had the Reuben Sandwich. This sandwich came with sliced corned beef, homemade Thousand Island, pickled pig sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on light rye with bacon ranch pasta salad. The pasta salad was cooked spot on while also being creamy. The bacon added crunch and saltiness to the salad. The rye had a great toast, and the Thousand Island was tangy and creamy. The pastrami was dry but had a good salty flavor. The sauerkraut was crunchy and had a good sour flavor cutting through the salty meat and the sweet dressing. The cheese was gooey and nutty and added flavor to each bite. I sampled the French dip sandwich and Mulligatawny soup. This was prepared with a sliced top round with provolone on a French roll. The soup was prepared with rice, chicken, carrots, onions, celery, lentils and spices. The chicken was very tender, the rice was cooked well, and the vegetables added texture to the rice. The soup was flavorful, had a wonderful aroma, and had a good salt content. The top round was thin and offered good flavor and chew. The roll was fresh and had a good chew paired with the ooey and gooey cheese with an excellent buttery flavor. The au jus had good flavor but was slightly salty, which overpowered it. Farmstand offers grilled cheeses, hot sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, soups and main entrees. They also serve beer and have a full bar. The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. The Fat Man says that The Farmstand Market & Cafe is Fat Man Approved with 1 chin.
