Wow! Did we get more than we bargained for. The pizza was really good, we had pepperoni, cheese, a custom and the Taco Pizza. It was all really good fresh and we will be back while on our short 4 day visit. Out from CA for the Creation Museum and The Ark was great to get some good food that the entire family enjoyed after long day at a wonderful adventure learning more about the magnificence of our creator! The waitresses were so friendly, attentive, helpful and willing to take their time and tell us what the must dos are while in Northern Eastern KY. First, I'll say .... Dewey's should bring their oil and mushroom pizza back. That's a review by itself. I order Dewey's EVERY Friday - live local. I go in to pick up, the lawn is busy but ZERO customers in the restaurant. No greeting, just clear annoyance that I'm there, clearly ignoring me and as multiple employees walk right past me. So, I TOLD the young gal I was there to pick up my pizza. She asked my name .... typed on the computer then checked in the back, immediately stating it would be up soon. Ummm it was to be READY at 8:10 and it was 8:30P. So rather than pick up my paid in full pizza and hand it to me, they let me wait. So I INFORMED the young gal it was to be ready at 8:10 - she gave me some bs and finally brought my pizza .... I get home and yes it's cold (yes I was late) so why make me wait when there are NO customers lol hats off to the chefs tho because it was made excellent with no disappointments. Maybe you should consider them up front .... as they do their job. Does Dewey's even train their people? Literally every employee (there were about 10-12) walking in circles ...... just appeared to be stoned, ignorant or complete idiots. Manager was MIA for the gentlemen that came in looking for keys ..... moral of my rant ... training and supervision that they know how to acknowledge customers, the people that pay their salary. Tried out the new Union Dewey's and I am sadly disappointed. I have always loved Dewey's and was super excited to have one close to home but this location has some improving to do. The pizza was very doughy and lacking overall flavor. Not pictured was my peppercorn ranch salad which was delicious. I will wait several months before trying them again with hopes that they get it right. The servers, location and facility itself was great and very accommodating. read more

We really enjoy Dewey's! I will say this isn't our favorite of their locations just because of the set up inside, but we enjoy having a Dewey's closer to home. We love the meatball pizza, pepperoni and Ryan's inferno! It's one of our faves with lots of ranch on the side. We also love ordering Dewey's at the Braxton next door and enjoying a beer with our pizza. You cannot take your Braxton beer inside Dewey's just fyi. read more

Ok - let's start by saying there is ample parking! Finally a location with tons of parking - great job, Dewey's! The entrance is on the side, and it a dual entrance to Braxton's and Dewey's! The restaurant is clean, has a great vibe, isn't too loud, even on football Saturday. Family friendly GF options Pizza options - menu and make your own Desserts a plenty Full bar - cider option preferred is triple jam (picture included) Staff is very trained and management is around and encourages staff. I was pleasantly surprised. Hearing comments like you did great. You handled that exactly right. Great job was refreshing to see and hear. Staff seemed genuinely confused at all times. The kitchen seemed to have no idea what was going on. And when we left we saw the big pizza dough pans sitting OUTSIDE on the sidewalk out back. We loved Dewey's but now the pizza crust is always very dark brown/blackish on the bottom. They told us they could remake it but it would be exactly the same. Why can't they fix this? Great location 5 minutes from my house, but can't even go before poor quality. read more

Dewey's consistently has great salads and pizza. Love their thin crust and salads that are not drowning in dressing. They offer seasonal salads which are a wonderful starter to the meal. This is a great location with an outdoor area that is perfect for families. read more

Apathetic and/or incompetent staff put my food with someone else's receipt at the counter and he took it even though it did not match what he ordered. They did not ever bring out what he ordered or a ticket to match what I ordered creating confusion and frustration for both customers. I don't think telling a pizza from a calzone is complicated!. They eventually remade my food, and probably his too, but it took me 30 minutes beyond their estimated time to get my calzone. They offered me no compensation for inconvenience and wasted time even though I asked for it when responding to the text message on phone telling me my food was at the counter. If you want some food with your beer, you better have the patience and tolerance of a saint. read more

Servers are friendly, place is uber clean, and the salads are to croak for! Also, the finest pizza south of Giordanos in New Jersey. Some of the nit pickers on here are ridiculous. Tell me about a restaurant that never makes a mistake and it will be the first one that has ever existed. Love the staff all around. Remy, Ruby, Grace and Finn are fabulous servers in Union. Heather, Mattie and Isabel are fab in Crestview Hills location. Our friends from the west coast come to visit us and want dinner there every day they are here! I would give Dewey's pizza 5 stars, even a 10 stars. But the idiotic decision by Dewey's management to not open until 4pm on Sundays is absolutely ridiculous. You are attached to the Braxton Brewery in Union ... you know...Sundays where people want to eat pizza and drink beer while they watch games, hang out with friends... It's not a religious thing because you're open later on. Just venting because this not only affects your business but also Braxton's. Love your pizza. Best in the whole area. Your hours are the problem. Group of 12 just went to Wings and Rings. Probably $200 miss on biz! read more

Always enjoyed Dewey's in the past. Will not be back. Ordered pizzas for pick up and they were horrible. One had no cheese, another had little to no sauce. $50+ worth of pizza in the trash. Best service we've had in a long time. Went there at 5 pm on Friday and had a 5 minute wait. Was greeted promptly. Went to our table and a server explained how Deweys worked. Ordered our drinks and a half and half pizza with two salads. Pizza and salads were fantastic and service was fast and friendly. This place gets really busy so plan on waiting. Pepperoni pineapple had Pizza had no flavor and very dry. Very little pineapple for what you paid for. To see ours today and what our friend had on Saturday night was a complete difference; hers had huge chunks of pineapple and our was little bits just shredded. read more

Waited 1 hr 20min for a togo pizza when they said 20-25 mins. They said someone took your pizza after I asked for three updates on time. Was excited my favorite pizza joint came to town but it missed the mark this time. Gave it a month after opening to work out the kinks but this was the worst deweys experience ive had. Ask three times for a side of ranch that never came . No refills ever offered and the pizza was mostly crust. Not up to par with the deweys experiences of the past. Might revisit and sit on the braxton side and have a pizza over there to see if things are better. read more

Love Dewey pizza the service is always wonderful, the food is always fresh the atmosphere is beautiful and always has good vibes. We love coming in to see Nick ! He is the best and always feel treated like kings and queens when we are at his locations! Our drinks are always topped off they are always good to our kids :) Happy he is at the union ky store !
