I wish I was exaggerating that every single time I order from this location that something is either wrong with my order or that I'm missing something by the time I get back home. This is just absolutely ridiculous that they cannot just follow simple instructions. I'm allergic to red onions and what do they do.. they put red onions on my sandwich. I give this one star (really deserves 0) based on service, value of the food in terms of how much I paid for it and the portion size , and how skimpy they are. I ordered a half modern caprese sandwich. It looked like someone took a half of the sandwich and cut it in half AGAIN and served it. So i got a damn QUARTER sandwich. Worst Panera I've ever been to, and I love Panera food, so it just sucks that this one is the closest one to me. When you go in the evening, they get annoyed and you can sense they're done and ready to go home, so our late 8pm or 9pm orders seem to be just so inconvenient to them. Terrible customer service. I was literally shocked by this cafe today..usually this brand serves amazing fresh food. Not this location it was simply terrible the salad was wilted and absolutely horrible it did not have the ingredients that were suspose to be in such as avacodos. The bakery good I ordered was stale awful. The bathroom was dirty there was no toilet paper in the stall some lady in the next one gave me some. The front entrance coming in was even dirty took a picture on the way out. Talked to the manager who literally could care less. In short, this location is horribly operated and the staff on the evening I went (except for the cashier) were unprofessional and extremely discourteous. They only serve disappointment. Walk in hungry, walk out angry...and still hungry. I visited this recently opened location hoping to get some broccoli cheddar soup and comfort food being a bit under the weather. Soup is always a roll of the dice at any Panera since, for some reason, they always seem to not be offering the one type you are looking for or they always seem to run out, even an hour after opening. Arriving about 25 minutes before closing time, I was absolutely ecstatic that my order, taken by a very friendly and thorough female employee, was good to go. The layout was typical of any other Panera and she directed me to the waiting area for my to go order. I sat down and enjoyed the free Wi-Fi for about 5 minutes. I became a bit puzzled at this point because I was the only customer that had an order rung in and throwing a bread bowl and filling a container of soup and bagging it up should not take very long. I figured I would give it a couple more minutes as I continued to mindlessly browse the internet. A couple more minutes went by and I hear my name. I walk up and become puzzled who even said my name because I can't see anyone in the service area. Suddenly a gentleman pops out and tells me that they ran out of the food I ordered and he forgot to tell the other staff members. I get that they ran out of food. It happens. For some reason, any Panera in the US it happens a LOT. Whether it is 10 til closing or 2 in the afternoon, Panera runs out of stuff. Seems to be a company standard. I can also understand you forgot to tell the other staff. Maybe something happened and you were so busy it slipped your mind. Then again nobody else was in the restaurant ordering food and I'm sure it had run out much earlier in the day. I can get past that. What I can't accept is inconveniencing me by making me wait nearly 10 minutes to tell me you don't have something you know isn't available. What happened when I rang in my order? Where was the staff member in the kitchen what on earth were they doing for 10 minutes that they didn't notice or know they had an order? That's a really long time to wait for a simple statement. He did apologize, as did the manager who had no idea about the situation but also showed no surprise whatsoever. Their apologies were half-hearted and came off robotic and rather insincere. At no point did anyone even try to offer any other options and I was so frustrated I just wanted a refund and to get out. Who knows how good their food handling procedures are if nobody is paying attention to orders being placed or food running out. Meanwhile, every other restaurant is nearing closing time so that small window of opportunity to go somewhere else to pick up some food is pretty much nil. Had they told me off the bat, I could have made it to a different Panera location or one of the dozens of other places within a 10 minute drive and still been able to order 15 minutes before closing. Instead I have to settle for Wawa food since it's the only thing still open. read more

The food is good and the manager is connected with the guests. I eat inside and didn't realize there was a drive through. From the sounds of other reviews the drive through people need training. You just don't give customers cold food that should be warm or hot. Inside the cashier was deer eyed and shy. Maybe this was her first job but hopefully additional training will heighten awareness of how important it is to greet paying clients with a smile and display energy and passion for what you do. The food met my expectations based on other Panera's which is always good. The soups are too salty for me however. I would prefer a lightly salty option and add more salt to taste. I just want to say that this Panera Bread has excellent customer service. Today, I went through the driveway to buy a sandwich that I thought I liked. I received my order, then drove to the side of the building planning to sit and eat in my car. I then unwrapped the sandwich and realized that I selected the wrong sandwich and remembered that this one was a cold sandwich and with bread I didn't like. I decided to walk into the store and attempt to exchange it. I told am employee (or one that appeared to be the Manager) that I realized I brought the wrong sandwich and asked if I could exchange it. He immediately said OK, and had the sandwich I preferred made. I appreciate him handling so well what some may have called an inconvenience, or a loss. That's why is why I love Panera Bread. I love Panera's food but this location really needs to get it together. I waited 35 min on a Tuesday night in the drive thru for a soup and salad, then tonight (Thurs) they told us they have no bread to go with the soup and no avacado for the sandwich. Unfortunately this is not the first time for either of these issues. How can you call yourself a bread company and not have bread and advertise a turkey avacado blt and have no avacado and what's worse is they don't tell you, you find out later when you've already gotten the sandwich or salad. I'm a pilot and normally love Paneras as I eat them all over the nation (so I've been to a wide variety of them). This has got to be the worst one I've ever been to. After I ordered my food the computer broke down and everyone's order was dropped. I can understand computer glitches. At one point one of the workers asked what my order number was. After about 20 minutes of waiting for my soup she took my order again and put it on paper and I watched her give it to the people making the food. I sat patiently for about another 20 minutes. I noticed people that had ordered their food way after me get there food so I went back up to the counter to ask about mine. I tried to explain the situation because I had already reordered my food on paper but was still missed. Who I assume was the manager didn't want to hear it. As I was walking away he made some snide remark. SERIOUSLY this is how you deal with a customer who had been very patient up to this point! I'm at a Panera that screwed up and by this time had been over 40 minutes to scoop soup into a bread bowl. I should had been more livid and the manager just wanted to make snide remarks like it was my fault they screwed up! Don't bother going to this location. There is a A LOT better option for a Panera just down the road off of 17. Go there and save yourself the headache of poor management. I never got an apology from the manager just accusations that I just didn't understand.
