It was quite busy @ this Panera. Person who prepped my food was rude & seemed annoyed. I ordered pick 2 broccoli cheddar soup & a salad. My cousin ordered the same. The serving sizes for both was very small. I was still hungry & I get full quick. It was a chill vibe. I liked the music playing on the speakers.

Found a bug in my salad. I'm 38 weeks pregnant. Unacceptable.

Panera Bread ran out of bread, and gave us a turkey sandwich without turkey. Crap service.

Two-fer menu is very good. Coffee is remarkable - between diner-style and Starbucks/NESPRESSO. Each day's highlights is worth trying.

It feels hidden in the sense that you could drive right past it and miss it, but once you find it, it is absolutely worth it. There is parking out front which is a plus. Inside, it is exactly what you would expect from a classic mom and pop Italian deli. Small, warm, welcoming, decently lit, and clean. They also have a huge menu with tons of options, not even counting everything available at the deli counter. I took my time looking over the menu and the staff was patient while I decided. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese with black pepper on a wedge and a bacon, egg, and cheese lightly toasted on white bread. The wedge was the highlight. Big portion, very filling, and everything tasted fresh and high quality. It was cooked and put together really well. My only small critique is that the bread was very soft and the eggs were falling out a bit, but I also did not ask for it toasted so that may be on me. The bacon, egg, and cheese on white bread was good as well. The only downside was that it was very lightly toasted, almost not toasted at all, and it used bacon pieces instead of strips. Overall, this is an excellent local deli with quality food, generous portions, and a welcoming feel. I would definitely recommend stopping by, and I will absolutely be back.

I go there at least once a week and I have my favorites, right now I'm locked in on a chicken Cutlet with cheddar cheese on a buttered wedge. The sandwich is huge and every bite delectable. When walking inside of the establishment, it was relatively quiet. The individual up front greeted us and informed us that there was a menu on the counter which we appreciated. There is a large menu to order from, but we decided to order the Chopped Cheese and Fries. The Chopped Cheese was good. The beef is fresh, juicy, and tender. When combined with the rest of the ingredients it makes a great combination. The fries were salted well and had a slight crunch with each bite. I became full off of one half of the Chopped Cheese. I do not normally become full from eating out, but this was one of the rare occasions where I did and I am thankful for it. Overall, I enjoyed eating here. I became full from the food I ordered, the individual up front was nice and respectful, and I left feeling satisfied. I definitely recommend coming to this location and trying their food options.

I'm so glad I did! I picked up an olive loaf, and since their famous cinnamon rolls were sold out (I've tried them before and they're amazing), I opted for a lemon blueberry scone while my partner chose a berry and white chocolate scone. My daughter was thrilled with a chocolate croissant, and we snagged a shareable apple danish too. Per Tom tastes great warmed up with a scoop of ice cream. They proudly craft their breads and treats from scratch daily, never frozen. Their dedication to quality ingredients and traditional artisan techniques shines through in every crumb. Tom at the counter was outstanding; his warm, welcoming approach and detailed product knowledge made our visit even better. He patiently walked us through their selection and helped us make great choices, all with a genuine smile. There's a great selection with a wide variety: artisan bread loaves, bagels, rolls, and pastries including danish (apple, berry, custard) and crowd‑favorite cinnamon rolls. It's a one‑stop shop for both everyday bread and indulgent treats. I appreciate that unsold baked goods aren't wasted; they're donated daily to local charities through the End of Day Giving program. It's great knowing my purchase is supporting a business that's committed to community and sustainability. COBS Bread in Stamford delivers on freshness, flavor, service, and community values. Whether you're after a hearty loaf, a decadent pastry, or simply a smile from friendly staff like Tom, this bakery hits all the right notes. Highly recommended!

I'm going to start with the good…read more When I called to place an advance order, the guy on the phone was friendly. When I picked up the food, the kid at the counter was friendly and helped bring my order to the car. Now, I have to lay out the facts. This was the first time I've ordered food from A&S. I called to place my order based on the catering menu posted on their website. I wanted to order two stuffed breads, a panzanella salad and chicken scarp. Note that the website indicates, "Pricing of all of our items is subject to change [due] to constant fluctuations in costs..." The guy who took my order informed me that they no longer do stuffed breads. "Okay," I said and ordered a vegetable crudite platter on the fly since I wasn't anticipating that. "Oh yeah," the guy said, it is also $45 (not $30 that it says on the website). Begrudgingly, I said that's fine, as it was for a family Sunday afternoon dinner. Next, I ordered the panzanella salad. "We don't make that anymore." The guy informed me. I sighed and said, "Alright, how about a [small bowl] Caesar salad?" The menu listed it as $25 on the website. Lastly, I ordered the main event, the Chicken Scarpariello. Thankfully, they still made this and the half tray was still $60, like the website said. Fast forward to me picking up the food on Sunday. The kid at the counter shows me all of the items, Caesar salad w/ Caesar dressing, vegetable crudite with blue cheese dip and chicken scarp. "That'll be $148.60," he said. "Would you like a receipt?" YES. It didn't sit right with me how much everything cost (for 6 adults, mind you). I asked my wife to read me the receipt when I drove off. Included was a $4.73 'non-cash adj.' which I assume was me using my credit card (on a $140 ORDER). When I opened the food up, I really got angry. My $30 Caesar salad had zero croutons. It was solely lettuce and parmigiano cheese. Essentially, it was likely a 3-head bag of lettuce with cheese and dressing, for $30. Something I could have done myself for about $7 tops. Next, my $45 vegetable crudite platter had broccoli, red & yellow peppers, celery and cucumber with blue cheese. There was no spinach/artichoke dip as indicated on the website. Neatly presented, but it was $45 for veggies (and one, not two dips). Last, the menu indicates the chicken scarp is served over rice. When I opened the tray; SURPRISE, no rice. The food was tasty (specifically the chicken). But for what I paid (for mostly vegetables), I am so disgusted. Not only with A&S, but myself for agreeing to purchase the food in the first place. I have such disdain for this experience, I'm likely not going back. The guy taking the order admitted the website needed to be updated. But again, mostly I'm pissed at myself because I paid a lot for what I got in kind. The cherry on top was the line item on my receipt for using a credit card. I get that credit card companies charge fees, but it's 2023 and if you're going to nickel and dime someone for using a credit card, do it if it's under $10, not on a $140 order. Lesson learned. The problem with running a business this way, is you only can pull that ruse once, otherwise it's shame on me.

Then someone who was sitting at the bar came to give us menus and said to sit anywhere. We finally sat and a waitress named Gabby came took our orders. I ordered a Steak salad no mushrooms sweet potato fries and the person I was with got a hot oil pizza. Pretty easy. Well waitress brought out the pizza and I waited and waited and waited, no salad no fries. I asked the waitress where my salad was she said she was going to check on it, never happened she then went to tables and started to take orders. I was getting frustrated and my friends pizza was now cold as she was waiting for me. After waiting for about 10 mins I went to the bar and explained to the bartender and she went to check and came out with my food. Not once did the waitress come to check on us. My salad was suppose to have tomatoes which it did not. I flagged down the waitress and asked her and she said she would bring some right out once again I waited and waited by that time my friends pizza was soggy and she said it didn't even taste that great. As I waiting I was eating the sweet potato fries and ate some of the salad but it was literally just lettuce, onion, Gorgonzola and steak, I wanted those tomatoes. I asked her yet again and she said she would get them then attended to other tables so I just started to eat my salad. I was finished had my salad plate empty at the end of the table then FINALLY a gentleman brought out a plate of tomatoes I told him I didn't need them and I finished my food and he replied "she just told me" I told him I asked her for them 20 minutes ago. Very disappointed I did speak to the bartender and leave some feedback not sure if it made its way to whoever but I appreciate her helping
