    Raisin challah!

On a whim we stopped and purchased chocolate croissant and a raspberry lemon pastry. We also purchased the raisin challah, ALL of which were delicious and I will definitely be back!!

The smell of baked bread carried myself and my kiddos into this establishment. The staff were helpful and friendly. The store ordered the spinach and feta croissant, it was really tasty. I also purchased high fibre bread loaf and now wish that I got more than one. Because my kids both loved it and need it lol. We will definitely be back to try other goodies.

Disclaimer-I love bakeries, especially nut free ones. Places who try to accommodate allergies are always on my radar but Cobs is over an hour away. I was heading to NYC and decided to pick up a few treats and I'm so thankful I did! First, the employee who helped me was so friendly! He confirmed that they are still nut free and told me that at the end of every day they donate the leftovers to local nonprofits (I love that)! I could smell cinnamon from the moment I got out of my car and was torn between the roll and scone but landed on the scone as I stopped by here a couple years ago and had the roll. I also chose a lemon blueberry scone which I was told is a really popular choice and a chocolate croissant. Who knew happiness could come in a little paper bag? I didn't but rest assured I will remember that for the future. Every bite of all three items was fresh, tasty and perfect. Absolutely no room for improvement which is a rare five star from me! My only wish is they would open one further up towards midstate but hopefully one day! If you are in the area or will be traveling through don't hesitate to stop here for a treat, you won't regret it! Im already craving another lemon blueberry scone and planning my next trip down there!

Everything's delicious here and made overnight, while we sleep! It's the American branch of a major Aussie franchise, and every piece of fluffy bread is made without preservatives and baked from 10pm the night before onward. The lemon blueberry scone is so wildly fresh and good, as is the airy challah, seeded bread. I ate two slices in the car alone. The cinnamon scone is also great, like a less messy crumb cake. Would come back for the lemon blueberry, challah, and want to try their sourdough, baked over several days. 5 stars!!!!

Passing through Stamford, we were curious to try some bread and pastries from COBS Bread, which is a Canadian-based bakery with only 2 locations in CT. The smell of the baked goods was noticeable right away and made us so excited to pick out what we wanted! My fiancé and I let several people go ahead of us in line as we were still trying to decide what to order, and while we were deliberating the manager brought us over a white chocolate blueberry scone to enjoy complimentary. It was such a nice gesture and not one that you see too often! Our favorites that we picked up here were the sourdough cob and sea salt and black pepper Turkish bread. The pastries were good too, but I did think my chocolate raspberry croissant was missing the raspberry flavor completely. The store is on the smaller side, so there is zero seating inside and no tables in front of the store outside either. No preservatives are used here, and I was happy to learn that whatever they don't sell at the end of the night is donated to local charities.

Fun buns, frosted pumpkin scones, double chocolate scone, and cinnamon scone.

Best scones, buns, and bread! The pumpkin scone with the cream cheese frosting is amazing. The cheese buns are the bomb! Literally everything here is amazing.

Impressive to be sure. Not to be missed if your just rolling my through and should be supported if your local. NON GMO flour from Canada. Dozens of choices baked fresh in house every morning. Well presented, immaculate cases, bread racks displaying all the beautiful baked goodness. The staff is helpful and well versed on each bread's style, flavor, texture etc. Excellent scones. Decent croissants. Loved the Turkish "flat" bread w sea salt & black pepper, toasting white, and pizza ready bread. Rather inexpensive for the quality & flavor of the final product. A star of a bakery in a sea of Fairfield County mediocrity.

Delicious fresh baked goods. The baguettes are great and the scones are perfect. They have a nice selection of seasonal baked goods too.

Screaming crying kicking begging for you to open a Norwalk location…read more I can't mention Lorca to someone without them saying "it's under new ownership", but I think the new owners have done a good job at sustaining the original quality of the shop. They have some of the best drinks and food items, the atmosphere is great for relaxing or working, and the staff is so nice and helpful.

I've been coming here maybe 2-3 times a season since they opened about 12 years ago, but sometimes even 2-3 times A DAY. This is one of the few cafes I can confidently say is innovative while staying true to their classics. The churros are still going strong many years later, but then they're also coming out with fresh seasonal flavors all the time. Some of the best flavors of coffees I've had are at this place: jasmine matcha, maple black walnut, a proper not-too-sweet autumn spice, pistachio rose cardamom, tres leches, etc. They were doing a horchata cold brew before anyone in the area, and their alfajores cookies remain tasty as ever. I always get the espresso drinks, but their drip is great too. Food is awesome, but I wish there were more savory vegetarian options at every cafe. Still, at least it's not the same boring breakfast burrito here; the sage and manchego egg and cheese on sourdough is pretty solid. The pastries and desserts always look and taste fantastic too. live in MD but visit my parents in Stamford often, and Lorca is the spot I always find myself going to first. Plus, there's plenty of space ever since they expanded years ago, so you can bring a book and people watch the busiest street in Stamford. The service is fast, courteous, and friendly. The past few times I've gone they've been pretty slammed. They were quick but seemed maybe one person down? If they're hiring, please work here! I know their winter drinks are going to be just as good, and the holiday season gets busy. I think I need to get another autumn spice latte before I hit the Amtrak.

I was happy about the place as soon as I laid eyes on it I was drawn to the kawaii all pink very girly aesthetic, the ambiance feels like a well lit all pink "Alice in teddy bear land" experience. I love that all deserts sold here are Brazilian in origin. They taste very good and some of them have the baker`s own twist and interpretation. The staff was very friendly, helpful and provided great assistance displaying very extensive knowledge of the sweets in display and made sure to let us know of their Savory options that are also available at selected times in the bakery. COCONUT CAKE- This is a well sized little to go tin cake. It has plenty of shaved coconut to give the cake the perfect coconut texture to the cake while at the same time having this moist cake with a nice well balanced body, creamy yet firm.
