My friend recommended this spot to me so I hightailed it with my parents to try. My gosh, everything is delicious. Classic, fluffy, fresh, homemade, still-warm cinnamon rolls, oatmeal cookies, baguettes, ciabattas, brownies and more. Great mozzarella sandwich, brie and fig sandwich, sweet potato-carrot soup. Was traveling through the area and had a hankering for some bakery goods. Thanks to Yelp reviews, we found this bakery. There is parking in front, but more parking in the back. Everything looked delicious and hand made. The baker was right in back, finishing with some more goods. Asked if they had rye bread, and they pulled it from the back! They also hand cut the loaf. Purchased a whole lot of other goodies like apple turnovers, cinnamon buns and a blueberry tart, and I think I'm missing something. The point is you can get a lot. Service was good, although I did go in the afternoon. I can easily see them getting mobbed, especially in this area with limited shopping choices. This place is a gem! A bit expensive, but definitely worth it. Would definitely recommend stopping by. I know we will. read more

Remarkable sourdough loaf. One of the very best I've had. A trip to Pound Ridge for their amazing bread is going to be a weekly pilgrimage.

This is a wonderful bakery. I purposely went to visit this bakery after having cookies from it at a friend's dinner party. I bought different cookies and pastries to try and each one was really scrumptious! The bakery had a laid back feel. It would be a nice place to grab a coffee and chocolate croissant with a friend--if you can find a seat. read more

Hard to overstate how good this place is. We come every Sunday having first eaten their baked goods when they sold them out of Booksy. The fruit danishes are delicious and stay tender all day after you buy them. The British style sausage rolls are delicious. I've tried so many things here over the years and have never been disappointed. They also sell a lot of pastries that are hard to find other places (pain au raisin, Bakewell tarts, slices of fruit cake). The store itself is so bright and cheerful it's a wonderful place to start a weekend day. read more

Warning: once you visit you might become a regular! The baked goods are exquisite!! Our favorite was the donut with cream filling (I'm still dreaming of it days later it's that good!). We also enjoyed a tart and cookie and a chai latte - all very good. The ambience is cozy and the space is beautiful and clean. The owners and workers are so friendly you feel right at home. I can't wait to come back in warmer weather and enjoy the plentiful outdoor seating as well as the beautiful indoor seating. We also snagged a fresh loaf of bread for home! This is a great bakery. I often buy here and would do more often if they would use some kind of covering (glass domes is what I see elsewhere) over their cakes. I have been dismayed to find flies in there(of course, they are everywhere), and sometimes people do hover over the items while they're choosing, it's not their fault, but that's not sanitary. Why wouldn't you take steps to protect your customers. It's so simple to do this, and even helps keep the items fresh. I would otherwise happily give a 5 star review for the quality. There is the quaintest trolley cart outside of Booksy Galore in Scott's Corners (Pound Ridge) where you can pick up a variety of baked goods or if you'd like something particular you can place an order beforehand. There were also baguettes and oatmeal cookies that I immediately regretted not getting! The prices are reasonable in comparison to bakeries and everything was incredibly fresh!
