I would recommend calling ahead if you're coming for lunch, or just allowing a little extra time. This is a small business and it does get busy for lunch. Wow. What a find! I was here visiting a local friend from Boston, looking for a new bagel spot. Luckily we were not disappointed when we stumbled across FreshCo before taking the train to the city. The owner is super nice and welcoming, we loved her Justin Timberlake greatest hits playlist. She informed us that while she gets her bagels from village bakery (not a downside, they are always great) everything else is home made. Coffee was great from BonJo's and we each ordered a breakfast sandwich. Size was great, 2 eggs are included and the price was fair (~$5 for a sandwich). On our way out, the owner even gave us some jalapeño cheddar bagels to try for tomorrow! Definitely don't miss this spot. read more

I came in for the first time because Village Bagels was closed and I desperately wanted a bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. I typed "bagels" in to Yelp, and FreshCo came up; it was close to my house so I thought I would give it a try. OH BOY, I AM SO GLAD I DID! At first I felt the service was a little slow, but when I got home I realized why. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS! The owner is Persian they cook everything to order fresh, you can taste and tell the difference. I ended up ordering a breakfast burrito with feta cheese (they were out of bagels by the time I got there) and it was nothing short of superb. As I said, I could taste the difference. The prices are about $1-2 dollars higher than you would expect, but after coming, here I can see why, and it's absolutely worth it. FreshCo has secured a spot on my list, and next time I am craving a breakfast burrito, I take solace in knowing a San Diego style one is only 4 minutes away from me :) read more

She told us that she makes her own coffee & iced tea ice cubes so that her homemade drinks don't get watered down! No other place goes the extra mile like that! The bagels didn't take long to come out. I got an onion bagel with egg whites, cheese, & hash brown! The first thing I noticed was the texture as I bit in. It has more of a bread-y texture! Still really good- not a bad thing at all! It's on the softer side! The bagel was packed with onion flavor & I want to try the jalapeño cheese bagel next! (Which means I'll definitely be back!!!!!) Found this place on yelp while traveling. The locally sourced fresh food made me want to go and the friendly vibe, delicious homemade food and service makes me want to return. Our daughter and her friend loved the NY style bagel and the egg salad sandwich was so good I thought my own mother made it. My husband says the Tuscan chicken sandwich was delicious and very unique. I've ordered delivery from here on a few occasions, but as of today will not ever order from here again. 2 out of 3 of my omelets came without home fries. Why offer and include in the cost if you're not going to deliver them? My recent order included avocado which was brown and inedible.
