I like Panera. I think you get more bang for your buck by going inside vs in the drive thru. Portions are def bigger inside. Bakery was running a special of buy with a drink get a 1/2 price pastry. While traveling I stopped here on my way to NJ. The service here is excellent. Each staff member was engaging, pleasant, and welcoming. I ordered a flatbread pepperoni pizza and a coffee. I ordered chipotle chicken flatbread, chicken strawberry poppyseed salad, fontega chicken sandwich with wild rice soup (1/2&1/2). The flatbread hands down the best flatbread I have ever tasted, chipotle aioli sauce on it was like a dream, super delicious. Salad was equally good and chk wild rice soup oh yes that's my for ages. Visiting the area with a friend and we decided to stop in here for a quick and easy breakfast with some coffee. I've always enjoyed Panera Bread, but never had breakfast. This Panera Bread was very clean and quiet with a very friendly staff. I ordered the Oatmeal with quinoa, almonds, and honey with a large coffee. I decided to go with the large coffee because I needed a larger refill for the road. The oatmeal was delivered to my table after a short wait by a smiling server. This is an amazing place! Lotsa places INSIDE to sit & enjoy conversation, coffee & a bagel. Staff are friendly & a shout out to Becca who took our order. For those of you concerned, they do have some tables blocked off for social distancing. I LOVE that you can get your own coffee, water or soda from carafes/dispensers. And keep your own cup! My favorite is their cinnamon crunch bagel & my wife got a whole wheat bagel. Almost felt like normal, though they do still require a mask to enter. Great vibe. Great space & welcoming environment to create connections & community, which we all need as we emerge from the CCP Virus pandemic. It was very easy to find off the interstate and was centrally located near a target, wawa, and bank of america as well as a bunch of other stores and food. I was being indecisive about what i wanted and the gal behind the counter was really friendly and helpful. She let me taste their green tea before I ordered it, because I'm picky, and it was very good. She also helped me pick the cookie I wanted with my soup and salad. I ordered the chicken and rice soup and the house salad with the vinagrette - I always get that because it's soooo good. I've never had any issues with customer service but the restaurant shows obvious signs that it's rarely, if ever, deep cleaned. Dust, dirt, and trash under the garage cabinets, and around the edges of the carpet and tile floor, bathroom stall walls are very dirty, every surface area in the bathroom is dusty and dirty. Grime along the trim between the carpeted and tiled areas. The creases between the seat and backboard of the booths are full of dust and crumbs. I just hope they do a better job with the kitchen. Anytime I'm there I usually see employees doing surface cleaning, but it's obvious the restaurant doesn't do any deep cleaning. read more
