First time here and I was very pleasantly surprised. I'm originally from NYC so it is quite difficult for me to find decent Asian based food here in Virginia. I decided to give this place a chance and I am very glad that I did. The fried rice was actually brown and not yellow like most places claim that is fried rice and the rice is just yellow rice. They don't have a very large menu and that is perfect because that just means that the items that they do have they do well. I especially loved their salmon teriyaki. Such friendly owners and staff. We are always warmly welcomed and given quick service. Tried a new dish and it was wonderful. The honey shrimp was hot and perfectly cooked. We finally was this way and was able to stop in for lunch. I ordered chicken and broccoli with fried rice and my son ordered veggie fried rice with tofu and my daughter ordered the Singapore stir fry. The staff is nice and they took our order quickly. It was crowded so it took awhile to get our food but it always worth the wait. It is called Table 9 because they have 9 tables inside to sit at. The presentation of the plates is fancy here. So tasty! I discovered a new favorite dish: honey shrimp! The rest of what we got was great to, but honey shrimp really hit the spot.

Ok, I've really tried to like this place, but every order has been wrong. I like the noodle salad, ordered that today with beef, got home and just had noodles with no protien, no sauce, no seasoning, nothing. Just noodles. Wtf. Finally got the opportunity to try this place. We came in on Valentine's Day and of course it was packed. It's a small place so maybe around 10 tables for dine in. My wife and I were on the area so we try this place for date night. This small restaurant is in a strip mall along with other businesses and parking is limited but manageable. Once inside, this cozy place has limited seatings. We ordered 5 items: 1) Pan-fried dumplings 2) Coconut shrimp 3) Bulgogi noodles 4) Braised ramen bowl 5) Kimchi banh mi. The pan fried dumplings were mediocre. The coconut shrimp was fabulous, very tasty and no sauce needed. But only if you eat it as a one biter. If eaten with two bites then the outer crust will fall apart and separate from the entire shrimp. The braised ramen was delicious, tender meat and the broth was full of flavor. The kimchi banh mi was amazing full umami. Our server Amy C informed us that the bulgogi bowl is cold noodle bowl and if we would still want it. Surprisingly this dish turned out to be our highlight of our trip. The contrast and flavors combination makes this dish a unique and a must get when you make a visit. It arrives to the table in a bowl with chilled noodles on the bottom, marinated bulgogi on top, drizzle with gochujang, sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with sprigs of cilantro. You won't be able just to take just one bite and you might have to order another to satisfy your palate. Our server Amy C was very friendly, genuine, attentive and knowledgeable. Great food overall. Table 9 is one of those neighborhood gems. I don't mind picking up my food, but sometimes I wish they would offer delivery...but not at the expense of food quality. Right now, they have good clean food that is delicious, and I hope it stays that way. This establishment is small, but comfortable to dine in. They are super friendly, and they even have an app where you can order takeout. They have bottled beverages. I had orange, my wife had tea. We had a four piece order of veggie spring rolls. Very tasty. My wife asked the server what he suggested. He was very polite and knowledgeable about his menu. He suggested Lu Rou Fan, which is beef or pork with vegetables in a very uniquely wonderful sauce. My wife chose beef. The beef was very much the consistency of pot roast. Very tender. The brown sauce had a note of sweetness. I had Pineapple Chicken. The chicken pieces were very tender and had a nice light breading. I almost did not put in my order as I called the number three times with no answer. I found the online order menu and ordered this way. Their menu is simple which is nice. Definitely a fusion on Asian food. Ordered the Braised Pork Ramen bowl. The pork has loads fat on it which was not pleasing but the meat was nice and tender. The bok choy was bitter so I had to move that to the side. Overall good and not loaded down with salt. Wife got the crispy chicken noodle. It was a cold dish and refreshing. The chicken was moist and crunchy outside. We had the wontons which were thin on the dough and creamy on the crab filling. Very tasty. The inside is clean and functional. The one drawback is that the place is small and there's no vestibule/foyer to keep the cold air out. They try not to seat you by the door, but seating is limited. A small Asian cuisine restaurant that offers a mix of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese items on the menu. Ordered the mandarin chicken with fried rice and extra portion, and my total came out to $17. The dish alone is $13 with $2 extra for the fried rice and $2 extra for the larger portion. I thought the dish was fairly priced with the exception of the $2 fried rice which was criminally under-seasoned. It was still tasty with a bit of salt. Service was very friendly, attentive, and the food came out within a reasonable time. The restaurant is a bit tight for space, with only about 10-15 tables, so if the place is packed, I'm sure it might feel crowded with not a lot of privacy. The lady working there is very friendly and helpful with the menu. Their menu seems to have some Asian fusion items, as well as some Vietnamese and Thai. We tried their pan fried dumplings and they were really tasty. Their side of pickled cucumbers was really good too. Their garlic stir fry was flavorful and their three pepper chicken was OK, but seemed like a messy mix of basic stir fry with no specific flavor to it. Very much enjoyed the food there. The serving sizes were very hardy and the rice and pickled cukes were delicious! I took advice from the rest of the reviews and got crispy chicken, pork fried dumplings and general Tao for the hubby.
