Walked here on 8/15/23 after getting my microlocs reties and I can say I was in a rush. Wasn't sure they was open m, but decided to give them a try since Yelp said they was. I went inside there was a slight smell nothing too foul but of like maybe the doors and windows needed to be open...stale air I would say. There was a couple of people behind the sushi bar and 2-other workers walking around the room. Mind you it was completely empty in there but them, me, and someone came to pick up and order. The female waitress took my order while the male sat down and proceeded to watch a show on his phone. I ordered the usual suspects: Philly roll, tuna roll, and I think yellowtail. I quite can't remember because I forgot to take pictures. But I also ordered plum wine. Food came out quickly as it should nobody was in there...and the waitress asked if I wanted to take my wine to go! I didn't even know they still was doing that! So I greatly obliged. Would I say this is the best sushi place I've eaten at...well no. But it definitely wasn't the worst. Just wish they would clean up a little bit and get that old stale smell out her business. I came here because of the awesome looking booths. The service was okay. We ordered a few dishes, but the server gave me the wrong one. It was a minor issue. We had a few simple dishes, but unfortunately, the flavor just was not there. I originally thought this was a Thai restaurant, but it felt more like a sushi bar. That said, the curry chicken rice was actually quite good. We noticed a lot of takeout orders, mostly for sushi. So we decided to try a few sushi rolls, and they were decent but nothing special. Had great service and food last night, the restaurant has always been immaculately clean, service attentive but not intrusive. Servings, including appetizers were more than ample, I had the fried onion soup, california roll with brown rice (have to ask for it, not on the menu), and chicken fried rice. On the way home from an appointment my mom and I decided that we wanted to try something new so we chose Sake and this place did not disappoint. We you come in the tables in the dining area were a bit close together but we came in when they were just opened up so it was spacious enough. Now for the food we started with Bangkok Spring rolls Thai Ribs, and gyoza. They were all delicious however the Thai ribs were so good it was almost disrespectful lol. So for our next round we chose sushi my mom wanted to try octopus so our wonderful waitress suggested that she try the Spicy Squid salad it was so light and refreshing and tasty. For sushi we had the Alaska roll, spider roll and a spicy crab hand roll. When the sushi came out it was the perfect temperature and it tasted so fresh. Next we wanted to try their entrees my mom chose the Ton Katsu and I chose Basil Sauce with and asked for it to be spicy. Needless to say it was delicious and we had leftovers. Me and my friend came here the other day looking for some good pho, We ended up getting the crab rangoon's as an appetizer (which is our go to if it's on the menu) and they were amazing.. our pho came in large portions (which was also a plus) and very very good. The atmosphere/booths are SUPER CUTE for a date! Service was amazing, I wish we would've caught our waitresses name but she was super sweet. I know next time I want Pho I will definitely come here! Had an amazing time here the other night! I moved here recently from Canada and I've been looking for great seafood and sushi places, Sake has been the first sushi restaurant to actually deliver FRESH sashimi. It was melt in your mouth nigiri. Definitely a very chill environment, there no rushed feeling, staff is friendly which has also been rare. Being someone covered in tattoos I've been treated very differently here but finally found a place I was treated fairly and got to enjoy eating.
