But overall not so happy when something that is simple is overdone with sugar, poke has more vegetables than fake poke and miso soup, dam add some miso paste, it should not taste like slightly flavored water. So change the dish of poke and call it a bento bowl because that is what i t is.

It's located in the same shopping center as Korean Wings (formerly Bonchon), Five Below and Melting Pot. As you walked in: it's clean, plenty of seats, and modern chic atmosphere. There was a variety of selections off their menu in which I wasn't able to decide so I create a mini buffet. There were 9 items ordered: 1) Chicken Ramen 2) Vegetables and Shrimp Tempura 3) Kimchi Ramen 4) Sushi A La Carte 5) Japanese Spring Roll 6) Regular Sashimi 7) Potato Cheese Mochi 8) Jasmine Green Tea 9) Yellowtail Nigri. Surprisingly everything that was ordered didn't disappoint. They all had great flavors, great quality especially the sashimi, ramens was filled with umami and you don't want to miss out. We had excellent service by servers Karina and Alyssa. They were both friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and great teamwork. I will definitely make another visit to try other items on their menu.

I made a huge order which required me to pay over the phone so FYI. Papaya salad - 1/5 - it lacked so much flavor, it was almost like it didn't have enough fish sauce. Beef drunken noodles - 3/5 - this was ok, kinda bland in flavor, noodles were a bit over cooked. Chicken Pad Thai - 4/5 - this had a little flavor to it, pretty decent out of all the things we ordered. Chicken red curry - 1/5 - this was a little disappointing since I was craving for some curry. The flavor was ok, they didn't put enough sauce in the container, I barely had enough for my rice. It looks very cheap and cheesy to put it in a shallow container. Thai fried rice - 3/5 - this was decent, very basic. Mixed vegetables - 4/5 - u really can't mess up stir fried vegetables, can u? Plain vanilla, something like you get out of a Chinese dish. Nothing special, it was decent. Overall we spent too much and it didn't meet my expectations. Location is placed in a sus area, tuck in the corner, careful going at night.

It was decent, sauce was on the side so that helped a lot from being super soggy. This was probably the only decent thing at a reasonable price. Hunan style combination was salty, the walnut shrimp was soggy as well, I guess i could have reheated this up as well since it was fried in batter. Shrimp was big and plumpy, there was no sauce that came with it on the side, only this yumyum sauce. Not sure if it was for that, if it was, very meh since the sauce is salty and not sweet. My favorite thing to get at other asian places is the Gway Tiow aka Chow Fun, but it was super soggy. The noodles were over cooked, it was also a tad salty, the lo mein was salty too, and the pad thai was meh, noodles were over cooked. I picked it up and the noodles would fall off the chopsticks and tasted mushy. It didn't have much flavor to it anyways. Kinda disappointing since of all the high ratings and the pics look tasty.

The spring rolls were hot! and tasty served with hot mustard and duck(?) sauce. The lo mein was also served hot and included shrimp, chicken, pork, fresh scallions, fresh mushrooms, fresh onions, and a mild sauce. Full marks for fresh veggies. Ambience is subdued with plenty of table and booth space available. It seems apparent a large portion of their business is take out or delivery. Glad to have found this place. I'll definitely be coming back and trying something else on the menu.

They have decent Chinese-American fare, not very authentic food, just what satisfies the masses. My two go-to dishes here are chicken & broccoli and egg fu young. One reason I enjoy dining in is they have a nicely made chili pepper oil sauce, which I put in my egg drop soup and all over whatever entrée I get. Their house hot mustard us also very good, it's great to dip the left over fried crispy noodles for the soup into. Service is always adequate, but not very friendly. The lady here is rather curt and abrupt. But the venue actually is decorated nicely and when I went yesterday I noticed fresh flowers on all the tables.

I placed the order a few hours before we were ready to eat and it arrived on time. They have a huge menu here and it bothered me that they're Thai while offering other items, like Korean, but we figured we'd give them a try, even though I'm not into Pan-Asian joints, as I find their flavors too watered down and Americanized. But the flavors here were nice, not the best, but better than I expected. I tried their Spicy Basil entrée with chicken and the pic looked like the ground meat style, which was what I was in the mood for, but what I got was a typical stir fry with lots of sauce and larger pieces of chicken. Flavors were good in it and heat level was what I wanted. Their Pad Prik Khing was nice too. Definitely will return to try more food here in the future.

The interior was clean and well-maintained with about 5 tables and a couple of counter stools at the window. It wasn't busy during the supper hour - we were the only people there, however there were several people coming and going for takeout orders. To us, that usually says that the place isn't going to be great. That wasn't the case with our experience here. My son loved his Masaman with chicken, I had the spicy eggplant, and my husband had the crispy chicken fried rice. The flavors were fantastic and the medium spice was just perfect for me. The food came out hot and fresh, and the presentation was great. Portions were very generous and a person could easily get 2 meals out of one dish. The thing that made it even better was the service. The owner and her husband were working, and the lady was our server. She was very kind and patient answering our questions while we were trying to figure out what to order. When we were finished, we talked with her about the Pokémon we noticed on some shelves. Her husband is a Pokémon collector and they have a thing they do with kids that they let you draw a sleeve with two cards back-to-back in it. If the cards match, you win something. Ours didn't match, but they let my son keep the cards from the sleeve he drew. It was a very sweet touch, and totally unexpected. The location isn't ideal as it's not in a main dining area of Stafford, so I don't imagine it gets a ton of traffic. The only thing that kept this review from being 5 stars (wish I could select 4.5) is that the prices seem pretty high. It was about $70 for three of us. We would definitely eat here more frequently if we could afford to. Will definitely go back when we can.
