My kids requested Panera after grocery shopping for smaller items at our nearby Winco. My kids love their mac anent cheese here. They will ask for it every other visit. They usually order the same half sandwich with a soup or a bowl of Mac and cheese with their baguette. My first mobile app order was fairly easy and the app is user friendly! Two wins for me! I didn't place my order until I picked up my breakfast burritos from Roberto's across the parking lot. The outside of this newer Panera looks like the others. I expect the inside to model the other chain restaurants. The girls working were very bubbly and welcoming. I would use this app again and appreciate the quick and friendly service and my kids hot food.

Had the Italian Market Salad, it was excellent. All the food we had was good and up to the standards we experienced in Virginia. The employee that bussed the table was very nice and informative. It is a very new restaurant. The ambiance is clean and pleasant. They have a very nice indoor playground for kids up to 12. We will definitely come back. Looking forward to soup in the winter.

Love the design of this new Panera in town. It's very open concept where most of the other paneras are so boxy and cut off. My kiddos enjoyed the play place. We used the tablet to order so didn't really have any interactions with the staff. The food was tasty however a little pricey.

I really like this place. They have better options than traditional fast food and the prices are ok. The staff is always friendly.

I went to Panera yesterday about 10am. I've never been to one before and was excited to go because everyone seems to love it. I was impressed with the selection of baked goods. Also, how modern and clean the store was, but I suppose that's because it's only opened the day before. There were lots of staff there and the cashier that took my order was being overseen by someone shadowing her. I did find in interesting that she asked me if I had a phone number on file for rewards. I told her I didn't, but she didn't follow up to suggest that I join to earn rewards. It was hard to decide what to get with all the choices, but I settled on the special Ham Croissant Benny (it was marked as New & Limited Time) and the Four Cheese Souffle. I ordered everything to-go. Overall, the food was good. Tho, my Benny was dry the first couple of bites because the sauce was not evenly spread across the croissant. Once I got to the sauce the sandwich was excellent. My DH liked the souffle but thought for the price it was on the small side. He said the favor was really good but wasn't sure that it was worth almost $8.00. The total order cost $15.79 with tax. The service was good. I had to wait about 7 minutes for my food. There was a cool monitor which showed the progress of my order, which was really nice. I didn't have to worry that I didn't hear my name being called. They have a nice little play structure for the kids. I was a little underwhelmed, but it could be that my expectations were too high based on how much everyone loved Panera. I would go back tho probably not often.

Take twos!! One with chicken bacon rancher and the other with spicy fiesta chicken!

The bread dough arrives frozen. The salads arrives pre made and bagged. The soups are prepared somewhere else.

Good, fresh food. Just a little pricey but nice options and much better than other sandwich options in our area!

Yes that is just one dish. No wonder it tastes so good. Crunchy, spicy, savory in the rich broth is something you should try. Shrimp tempura with a spicy dipping sauce is her favorite. This is an excellent appetizer. Fried rice is my absolute favorite and the chicken version here is fabulous and makes an excellent breakfast the next morning! Traditional Vietnamese or Chinese cuisine IMO, is difficult to find here compared to the Bay Area. But that's not the fault of Reno, it's just the number of asian restaurants are so much fewer here and all the produce is literally imported. My goto when checking out a chinese restaurant is their chow fun noodles. Why? The noodles are perishable and if frozen the texture becomes a bit mushy, not firm. Was the noodle fresh, yes but with the cavet that it was probably imported day or two earlier. There are no local noodle makers in Reno. The dish was prepared in traditionally with a slight twist. Garlic, lots of minced garlic. Not complaining, as this is unusual for chow fun noodles to get amost a fourth of a garlic bulb worth. I ordered the mixed protein version with chicken, pork, and beef. There was a slight sweetness to the dish, which I am atributing it to sugar. Which again is unusual but a welcome addition like the garlic. My last visit was when some relatives visted from the Bay Area and we had lunch. I didn't want to take a chance on the food that they may not be used to, so we choose SK Noodle. Eveyone had their vietnamese Pho and grilled dishes and so far SK did dissapoint any of the Northern CA food snobs! I will be back.

Soup and a sandwich is always a good choice on a winter's day for lunch. Today's soup was a sweet potati lentil. Given it's still summer, I opted for their chipotle bbq pulled pork grilled cheese on Ciabatta bread. While I was not dazzled by its visual appearance, it definitely hit the spot. I initially balked over the half sandwich size, but after eating it, I concluded a full size sandwich with that much meat and cheese would've involved antacids two hours later. The good...The ladies running the truck were quite friendly. The proportion size was perfect for lunch. I didn't feel like I over ate. The price point was reasonable and the menu had some options for the health conscious. The bad...I really would've liked to see some kind of green side (salad, slaw, etc...) to accompany my sandwich. I would even be willing to pay a little more just to balance out the meal. They did have a couple options which would fit this bill but their price point advertised them more as a meal itself rather than a side dish. If these ladies are back during a colder week, I definitely want to try out their soups. The menu has some variety so I'm sure I'll be eating with them again regardless of the time of year.
