First time visiting this Panera. In general, I like Panera. Typically clean, well lit, decent coffee and hardworking Staff. Yes, I am a Sip Club member and enjoy the unlimited coffee/soft drink feature. (My doctor would likely be appalled by how much money I "save" each year at Paneras with all the coffee I drink!) This location checks all my boxes. I got the avo egg sandwich for breakfast with modifications (no cheese, add arugula). The sandwich was prepared correctly and was fresh and delicious. It even looked a little more packed with avocado than my usual Panera. The restaurant is clean and someone is vacuuming as I speak to you. Made a mobile order for dine-in on a weekday. The indoor seatings were less than half taken. The dishes were called at the time of promise. I wish I hadn't spent $20 for the worst grilled-cheese sandwich I've ever eaten and cup of tomato soup. How can something that simple and classic go so wrong? Is this the right country? I wanted tomato soup and a sandwich and they gave me a terrible sandwich, a cup of soup with a mountain of croutons in it so I couldn't dip my sandwich in it, and two ripped off pieces of a bread loaf extra. It was disgusting! The sandwich was like a wad of yellow paste, barely toasted. It was so bad! The service was also callous and egregiously inconsiderate; no one cared about me. I ordered takeout last night. The baja bowl was a good size, and it was packed well. I ordered extra tomatoes and I obviously got them. Overall, the bowl was very delicious, but I think the black beans were slightly undercooked. I will order it again. I also ordered a cookie. The cookie was good, but it's not a cookie I'd go out of my way for. There are 2 other sub places I tend to visit that have better cookies. My daughter liked her grilled cheese. When I ordered it for her, I was actually surprised how many add-on options there are for grilled cheese. I may even try it some day. I ordered a pumpkin muffin, but they were out. I found that out after I arrived, which is a little annoying. I'm not sure how you fix that in your app, but the manager offered a replacement. The problem was that they didn't have any more muffins and my daughter really didn't want any of the other stuff. She was willing to get a bagel instead, but those are much less expensive, and she wasn't thrilled about a bagel like she was the muffin. I got the brownie. It's a very minor thing, but I also found it interesting that I got the text notification that my order was ready about 5 minutes before requested. That's perfectly fine, but when I walked in at the time my order was to be ready, it wasn't actually there. The manager came over shortly, though, and asked for my name. Again, this is not a huge deal, but the notification is obviously inaccurate. I am happy the order was accurate (minus the muffin). read more

The stars are for visiting as long as we wanted and the creative sandwiches. The restaurant was mostly empty. There wasn't an excuse for not wiping all the tables clean (or having Lysol wipes nearby if customers are supposed to bus their own table). I couldn't hear the cashier through her mask. Even leaning in and straining to hear, I wasn't sure what my two options were. I heard "apple" so I took it. I ordered a Mediterranean sandwich. It was beautiful. It was advertised "with" a pickle, which translated to little pickle slices & not an actual whole pickle. The apple was not sliced. I asked the employee to slice it. They are slicing sandwiches and other toppings, what's the difference? The employee handed me a butter knife. I don't have a cooking show, but cutting apples with a dull knife is messy, especially in a restaurant minus the cutting board . So I didn't eat the apple. When I looked at it later, it was bruised and not pretty underneath. If you are handing out apples at a restaurant, be more discerning. The tomato soup was good. The croutons were overkill, but looked nice. The sandwich was huge. The half a sandwich choice with another entree item is really an entire sandwich. I have visited this establishment over the years. Most of the time, the experience is good, but occasionally, the wait is a little long to grab lunch. When possible, I would recommend ordering ahead. My neighborhood Panera! I've been coming here for years!! I think ever since they opened up. This year due to Covid, things haven't been the same but I must commend this Panera for their efficiency. Every time I visit, I observe all the staff wearing masks, they have hand sanitizer in place, and they have one way markings! I've utilized curbside pickup many times and I've never had any issues. I participate in the coffee subscription - I think it's totally worth it! For $9/month and you get as much coffee and/or as you wish! I'm yet to try their flatbread pizzas. read more

The food here is yummy...the customer service is not so hot. I recently was introduced to their bbq chicken sandwich (in Dec) and it was amaziiinng. I go here when I need to get food quickly and I want my meal to be kind of healthy. If your eating at the restaurant the food is definitely better if you get it to go they seem to rush and miss ingredients or not give you your money's worth. They charge 85 cents for avocado and they gave me less than a quarter of avocado (pictured). In the past they forgot to put chicken in my salad, forgot to put dressing in the box for my salad on more than one occasion. Definitely one of the better Panera locations in Montgomery County. My only issue with this location is that it's NOT a good place to get work done. There's generally a lot of noisy kids and people having loud conversations. Parking: Decent sized parking lot free of charge but it gets pretty crowded during lunch time. Location: It's wedged in between TGIF and chick-fila in a small strip of restaurants. It's literally just on the other side of Cherry Hill shopping center. Definitely a good option if you want to eat a "healthier" lunch compared to the other fast-food establishments in the area. Interior/Exterior: Overall it's fairly clean restaurant. If it gets really busy during the lunch hours you may find some tables that haven't been cleaned off, but other than that I trust how the employees regularly clean and handle food. There's also a nice fireplace indoors during the colder seasons! The restaurant size is pretty standard to any other Panera location. I appreciate that they have a few booths for outdoor seating. My friends and I usually sit outside during the summer time and they have umbrellas to block out some of the sunlight while you eat. Menu: Standard to any other Panera location, but they rarely run out of food or drink items (I appreciate that!) My go-to is their pick-2 and I usually get the Turkey bacon bravo sandwich with a Southwest Chile Lime Ranch salad with chips and a pickle on the side. I'll occasionally order a smoothie alone to-go and I'm pretty sure I've tried all their flavors. The peach and blueberry with almond milk has the lowest amount of calories and is still really tasty. The consistency is perfect and the combination of flavors is delicious! Service: The employees are fast and friendly. They're always welcoming and on top of their jobs. Not once have I ever forgotten to punch my phone number for my rewards because they're always reminding me so I don't forget. Most importantly, food comes out fast! Yes, it's a chain but it was convenient and a known quantity. The line to place orders was a few deep but it was clear that this was a sharp crew. It moved quickly, my order was taken fast and a few moments later, my number was called. Easy pleasy. The sandwich was on good bread with plenty of chicken and a huge piece of lettuce. I probably should have has something other than chips, but when the guy said "Would you like chips with that?" I answered yes by default. Even at 1:00, the place was quite busy. I felt a little guilty taking a four-top for me and my computer, but I was happy to share if someone else wanted the spot. Their Internet shut down after a half hour, but Friday's is next door. I don't generally leave reviews for chains because I think for the most part the food is pretty standard (as it should be). I can say that that is true of this Panera-- the food is generally good and if you like it at another location you'll like it here too. They have good salads, sandwiches, and soups, and even better Mac and cheese. My issue is with the service. Every time I ask for a modification to my meal, I've noticed that they aren't made correctly when I receive my order. I also have been given several meals missing side orders and sauces that I've requested on the side. I expect to receive what I paid for -- otherwise don't offer modifications if you can't follow through. This is just frustrating and lacks professionalism. Placed an online rapid pickup order for something simple...a cookie. Upon arrival the rapid pickup area was empty but the shelf behind the register had orders waiting. I was a few minutes early so I decided to wait. While waiting for my order I noticed that the store was clean with Social Distancing materials placed nearby. The manager then came over to the entrance to check if there were any pickup orders in line and took our names. Both myself and the other customer waiting a were delivered our orders promptly. The one piece of advice I can give, if you order through the app for in store pickup, open and check the bag. We placed an order last night and two food items were missing, which were didn't realize until we were home and in for the night. Getting a refund is proving difficult as well.
