    Caesar salad
    Rachel H.

Today marks the last day I ever eat at this chain. I've been a die hard panera fan for so many years and their quality at any location has gone downhill so drastically, it makes me angry. Over the pandemic I can't even recall the amount of times they've had such severe staff shortages that their trash bins were overflowing. As for this specific location- this is the last time I get screwed over with paying this much for such bad service and lack of quality in their food. Today I ordered for pickup a standard Cesar salad with the addition of arugula.. and my salad came out as a literal small handful of arugula. Seriously? Furious with my order- I went into the restaurant to ask why they had left out the literal base of the salad.. for an employee to say she will give me the lettuce.. went to the counter and picked up a small handful of lettuce only. Do I care to argue?? What am I going to get out of this? Do I blame lack of customer service training? I have had general problems with this location, where I NEVER get my cup for my drink. I always have to ask and you can't ask the same employee who is working on the food.. you must wait or cut in line at the register to show your receipt to wait to grab a cup.... This is such a small detail which makes me waste so much of my time and energy to grab my food to go. I hate to be rude and cut a large group of other customers who are waiting to order. This locations overall lack of heavy duty cleaning also makes me upset, as this is a heavy traffic location. It's very obvious there hasn't been a heavy cleaning by an external company.. EVER??? There are obvious roof leaks and lack of standard hygienic measures in place. When you have a restaurant, you cannot rely simply on the employees who have just worked for 7 hours and are now asked by their manager to clean the dining chairs- who have no proper training on doing so. This $6 salad will be the end of my service this company and their inability to train employees, maintain employees, as well as lack of creating a clean and easy atmosphere for their customers. No free drink subscription should keep anyone coming back to a business that doesn't care about anything but their profit. This Sanford location and the Millenia location, that I used to frequent are both owned by the Covelli franchise. It's very obvious the lack of quality that these 2 locations share.

We came and ordered soup and a drink. While the prices have gone up considerably, the soup was steaming hot. The bread was delicious as always. We were a bit hesitant given the reviews, but we really enjoyed our meal. We will come back.

    Very good Cobb

We've patronized Panera in many areas around Florida and found this location to be just fine. Years ago they removed the Cobb Salad from the menu, which I never understood, but now it's back. Good for them. We did not see any issues while we were there. I do agree that the prices have pushed up as they have everywhere. Not good but what are you going to do? The Cobb Salad was very good as was the Southwest Chicken Salad. The bread is always good. Enjoy!

Wow! I naturally have a negative opinion of Panera, so I was a little skeptical going in and honestly already had a negative opinion. However, this past experience has entirely turned that around! I had the Baja bowl and the baguette and both were excellent! Super tasty and fresh! I will definitely be back! They use Greek yogurt as a dressing, which I know seems odd, but honestly I was pleasantly surprise, it was a super good option, tasty, and healthy.

Great coffee, sandwiches, salads, bagels and pastries. Panera has it going on! It was a super cold day in Florida (yeah, you heard me) and I was in the mood for something warm in my belly. I headed in for a quick late lunch and I ordered the "pick two". I asked for half of the Green Goddess salad and some cheddar broccoli soup. My buzzer went off in record time. I grabbed my meal and sat down in a booth. My salad was fresh and oh so tasty! This was my first time ordering the Green Goddess. Usually, I'll opt for a Greek salad. The only downfall was it seemed liked the hard boiled eggs were extra chilled as I felt I it was a tad bit "frosty" when I bit into it. The cheddar broccoli soup was so satisfying. The temperature was just right. Not too hot- so I was able to get right into it! I left feeling good and not hating myself. That in itself shows that the meal was perfect.

Ordered a cup of fruit and I got this nasty old fruits. I wish I would've checked my bag before leaving the building.

Ordered a cup of fruits. The fruits are old and I ended up throwing it out a waste of money. Mushy grapes mushy pineapples. Absolutely disgusting I lost my taste for going to Panera bread at this location.

This location does a great job with their curbside option. I've never been waiting for longer than 5 minutes even when there is a large group of cars using the same service. The food also tastes great and is warm when handed to me. Pros with Curbside: * Quick Service * Don't have to leave your vehicle * Friendly Customer Service Cons: * Runs out of bagels occasionally around lunch time

My family likes Panera. But this particular one, all of the food is still good, it's not a very clean looking restaurant. It's still Panera so it's not bad good but the tables were not bussed, not at all we was there. It was very crowded and none of the tables were wiped once. Gross.

The entire space is outdoors, with picnic tables, beautiful oak trees, and plenty of room to play on faux grass. We were especially excited for the swing for our kids, but unfortunately the swing was down during our visit. That said, there were still plenty of activities to keep them entertained, including life-size Connect 4, giant Jenga, ping pong, and cornhole. There was also a great DJ, which added to the overall lively atmosphere. The food was another highlight. They serve classic All-American favorites, the kind of dishes you'd typically grill in your own backyard, but elevated and even more delicious. Portions are generous, and everything tasted fresh. The wings were some of the best I've had, my husband really enjoyed his burger and fries, and my aunt loved the fish tacos. They also offer a kids' menu. Our son was a big fan of his burger. The biggest downside was the bugs. There were quite a few wasps and even some poisonous caterpillars (tussock moths) around. I understand the outdoor, "yard" concept, especially in Florida, but it would be great to see some added pest control measures. A few fans around the seating areas would also make a big difference. Overall, it's a super cute and unique spot. We'd definitely consider coming back, especially in the evening.

I arrived without ceremony, took a seat at the bar, and expected little more than a drink and a quiet escape from the predictable machinery of an ordinary evening. Yet sometimes, in the most unassuming places, simplicity proves far more satisfying than spectacle. The service was remarkably quick, but never felt hurried. There is a subtle difference between efficiency and impatience, and the staff understood it well. I was acknowledged promptly, served without unnecessary delay, and left to enjoy the evening at my own pace. This may sound like a modest accomplishment, but anyone who has spent enough time waiting invisibly at a crowded bar knows that attentive service is becoming something of a lost art. The atmosphere possessed an easy, lively rhythm. There was plenty of entertainment, enough to hold one's attention without demanding it, and the room carried the pleasant energy of people who had temporarily set aside the obligations waiting for them elsewhere. Nothing felt overly manufactured. The experience was not desperate to impress, and perhaps that was precisely why it succeeded. 4th Street Bar & Grill did not attempt to transform an ordinary evening into some grand theatrical production. It simply provided quick service, genuine entertainment, and a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the passing hours. In doing so, it reminded me that a memorable night does not always arrive beneath chandeliers or behind velvet ropes. Sometimes, it begins with an open seat at the bar.

They offer deli sandwiches and baked goods in a counter service fashion, different than the sit down meals at their restaurant. There's also a lovely wine and beer area that is well stocked ! Get the crème puff. It's light and airy and perfect to be shared. There are so many candies, cookies, sweets and essential German products that you'll want to take one of everything home. Our party ended up being 20 of us and we were able to share a unique link for purchasing tickets so our party was all linked together as one party. When we first boarded, there really wasn't any direction as to what to do or what we could do so we just sat down at our table and waited for someone. We weren't sure if we could or should go to the bar to order drinks or if we could walk around before dinner. It took a while (10+ minutes) for anyone to approach our table.) Once someone approached our table we ordered drinks and then walked around the boat. We went to the top deck to take some photos and watch the sunset before dinner started. Once dinner started we were able to go the buffet as munch as we wished. Since it was Italian night they had all Italian dishes, none of the dishes really stood out but nothing was bad. It was good, but not like wow! While eating they started pouring our wine samples. We got two red and two white samples and a sommelier talked us through each sample. After the first two samples they gave us a break to walk around, go to the bathroom, etc. I would have preferred a shorter break in the middle of dinner and more time in the beginning so that we could spend more time on the deck while the sun set. Tickets for this event were $65 and in my opinion it was worth it. We had a great time and it was something I could check of my bucket list!

Plus I appreciate that a company in the Sanford area was willing to host the show! From a river ship standpoint...the ship is showing its age and I'm not sure I heard or saw any safety protocols or briefings. I have to believe there were some because I would think that's a requirement but I must have missed it. The goldfish on the tables were a nice touch but a bit stale. Our drinks weren't weak so that was nice too. The server who came to the table was nice and able to get us what we asked for in a timely manner. Someone at our table had the pretzel and it looked decent, but I didn't try it myself.

Had to get bloodwork done at 6:30am, so afterwards we were close to here and craving breakfast, so it was a no-brainer to stop in here. Having been born and raised in Mississippi, I am always on the hunt for some good southern homestyle cooking and I for sure found it here. First, everything about the outside and inside of the restaurant reminded me of all the lil mom and pop restaurants I was raised going to. Great nostalgia for me. Now was the food going to live up to what the place looked like?? YES! So I went in craving breakfast and then what did my little eye spy on the menu? An open-faced roast beef sandwich and they service breakfast and lunch all day? Well, yes, please and thank you! Forget brekkie, I went straight for that open-faced roast beef with fried and all of it covered in gravy. OH MY! I'm talking this is the kinda food that (as we say in the Deep South) makes you wanna slap your momma! The bread was piled high with fresh roast beef. The fries were steak fries which are my favorite. The gravy topping everything was just the chef's kiss to set everything off! So many things I want to try on the menu, but I think it's going to be a while before I order anything other than that open-faced roast beef! Hubby had scrambled eggs, toast, hash (his fav brekkie food and he asked for it crispy - they delivered), and breakfast potatoes. He said everything was great and that it's the best hash he's had. I have never been a fan of hash, but I always try it. This has I would definitely eat. It was good. Can't say I'd order it myself because I'm just not a fan, but if this is the breakfast that was served to me, I definitely wouldn't turn my nose up at it. Anyway, two big thumbs up from hubby. Wheelchair friendly. Clean restrooms. Great service from our attentive and sweet server. Food came out very fast. I also much mention the Diet Coke. You know how some are just better from certain fountains? Yes, this was one of those cold fountain Coke's that was just so good. It really hit different. I ordered water as per usual because I try to not drink soda too much, especially while I eat, but hubby mentioned how good it was so, of course I had to try it. He was right. Very good indeed. If you are in the area, don't miss out on this lil restaurant. You will not be disappointed! The only negative thing I can say is they are only open until 3pm on weekdays and only until 2pm on the weekends. Guess that's a good complaint though. LOL Sure wish they were open for dinner too b/c we'd really be eating here a lot!!
