Caesar salad
Rachel H.

Today marks the last day I ever eat at this chain. I've been a die hard panera fan for so many years and their quality at any location has gone downhill so drastically, it makes me angry. Over the pandemic I can't even recall the amount of times they've had such severe staff shortages that their trash bins were overflowing. As for this specific location- this is the last time I get screwed over with paying this much for such bad service and lack of quality in their food. Today I ordered for pickup a standard Cesar salad with the addition of arugula.. and my salad came out as a literal small handful of arugula. Seriously? Furious with my order- I went into the restaurant to ask why they had left out the literal base of the salad.. for an employee to say she will give me the lettuce.. went to the counter and picked up a small handful of lettuce only. Do I care to argue?? What am I going to get out of this? Do I blame lack of customer service training? I have had general problems with this location, where I NEVER get my cup for my drink. I always have to ask and you can't ask the same employee who is working on the food.. you must wait or cut in line at the register to show your receipt to wait to grab a cup.... This is such a small detail which makes me waste so much of my time and energy to grab my food to go. I hate to be rude and cut a large group of other customers who are waiting to order. This locations overall lack of heavy duty cleaning also makes me upset, as this is a heavy traffic location. It's very obvious there hasn't been a heavy cleaning by an external company.. EVER??? There are obvious roof leaks and lack of standard hygienic measures in place. When you have a restaurant, you cannot rely simply on the employees who have just worked for 7 hours and are now asked by their manager to clean the dining chairs- who have no proper training on doing so. This $6 salad will be the end of my service this company and their inability to train employees, maintain employees, as well as lack of creating a clean and easy atmosphere for their customers. No free drink subscription should keep anyone coming back to a business that doesn't care about anything but their profit. This Sanford location and the Millenia location, that I used to frequent are both owned by the Covelli franchise. It's very obvious the lack of quality that these 2 locations share.

Very good Cobb

We've patronized Panera in many areas around Florida and found this location to be just fine. Years ago they removed the Cobb Salad from the menu, which I never understood, but now it's back. Good for them. We did not see any issues while we were there. I do agree that the prices have pushed up as they have everywhere. Not good but what are you going to do? The Cobb Salad was very good as was the Southwest Chicken Salad. The bread is always good. Enjoy!

We came and ordered soup and a drink. While the prices have gone up considerably, the soup was steaming hot. The bread was delicious as always. We were a bit hesitant given the reviews, but we really enjoyed our meal. We will come back.

Baja Bowl & Baguette

Wow! I naturally have a negative opinion of Panera, so I was a little skeptical going in and honestly already had a negative opinion. However, this past experience has entirely turned that around! I had the Baja bowl and the baguette and both were excellent! Super tasty and fresh! I will definitely be back! They use Greek yogurt as a dressing, which I know seems odd, but honestly I was pleasantly surprise, it was a super good option, tasty, and healthy.

Great coffee, sandwiches, salads, bagels and pastries. Panera has it going on! It was a super cold day in Florida (yeah, you heard me) and I was in the mood for something warm in my belly. I headed in for a quick late lunch and I ordered the "pick two". I asked for half of the Green Goddess salad and some cheddar broccoli soup. My buzzer went off in record time. I grabbed my meal and sat down in a booth. My salad was fresh and oh so tasty! This was my first time ordering the Green Goddess. Usually, I'll opt for a Greek salad. The only downfall was it seemed liked the hard boiled eggs were extra chilled as I felt I it was a tad bit "frosty" when I bit into it. The cheddar broccoli soup was so satisfying. The temperature was just right. Not too hot- so I was able to get right into it! I left feeling good and not hating myself. That in itself shows that the meal was perfect.

Ordered a cup of fruit and I got this nasty old fruits. I wish I would've checked my bag before leaving the building.

Ordered a cup of fruits. The fruits are old and I ended up throwing it out a waste of money. Mushy grapes mushy pineapples. Absolutely disgusting I lost my taste for going to Panera bread at this location.

This location does a great job with their curbside option. I've never been waiting for longer than 5 minutes even when there is a large group of cars using the same service. The food also tastes great and is warm when handed to me. Pros with Curbside: * Quick Service * Don't have to leave your vehicle * Friendly Customer Service Cons: * Runs out of bagels occasionally around lunch time

I like the selection of sandwiches and soups as well as the pastries. Ordering on the app is easy and food is ready quickly.

Don't eat the ice.....I saw a worker start mining the ice box with a mop and then proceeding to sit in the ice box.

Why did it took me so long to try the ramen from Yugiri Ramen Project?…read more This is hands down one of the best ramen in Central Florida. This is located inside Henry's Depot in Sanford. Which a food hall with various food options and a bar. It is an cool spot. You place your order on a self-serve kiosk ( just like in Japan) and then you will get a text when your food is ready. I ordered the miso ramen and the broth was delicious. The pork will melt in your mouth and the egg was cooked to perfection. We also ordered the Karage chicken bites. They were delicious. Sometimes during peak hours or weekends can be hard to find indoor seating so keep that in mind. You can also find tables outside. I'm 100% coming back here soon!

I'm really disappointed to be writing this because I've had good experiences here before, but my…read morelast two visits have been consistently poor. The food also tasted old not fresh. On my most recent visit I ordered the Addictive Cabbage, which is supposed to come with Yugiri spice-seasoned cabbage, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and nori komi furikake. This time it was extremely dry and bland unfortunately, the Addictive Cabbage did not live up to its name-it lacked flavor and was quite dry. The past two times it fell short of expectations, especially compared to how enjoyable it has been in the past. The edamame was another letdown. It came out ice cold and was overly seasoned to the point where it was hard to enjoy. My first time trying it. For my main, I ordered spicy ramen. The noodles were clumped together and tasted undercooked. There was very little broth, and what remained had mostly been absorbed by the noodles. On top of that, both the noodles and broth were extremely salty-honestly one of the saltiest bowls of ramen I've ever had. Some ingredients also seemed to be missing. The last two times this one was disappointing. It's usually well balanced and delicious. Especially at what they charge for a bowl. The veggie dumplings were underwhelming and lacked flavor. I only tried them once so don't know if that is how they normally are. Service was just as frustrating. No one was at the counter for long stretches of time, and when I tried calling to see if I could bring the food back for a remake, there was no answer or callback. I even reached out online a few weeks ago before posting this review and still haven't received any response. I kept my receipt as well. This is now the second visit in a row where both the food and service have been disappointing. It really feels like things are declining, which is unfortunate because this place used to be reliable-especially for ramen and appetizers. I genuinely hope they turn things around, but based on my recent experiences, I can't recommend it right now.

What an absolutely fantastic, surprising find in the heart of downtown old historic Sanford. " Make…read more2nd your 1st choice," is the perfect slogan! In town on a work trip, my husband, and I decided to try this place out! What a wonderful surprise! From the moment you walked in the eclectic, industrial, modernized, warm, cozy feel welcomes you in. Our server was friendly and attentive, and we knew right away that this place was a find! A wonderful happy hour menu, led us to a full menu of what felt like a farm to table experience. I sadly didn't get to snap a photo of the excellent appetizer buratta, but it was a perfect blend of balsamic tomato and creamy cheese! I am a true foodie, and this was hands-down the best burger I've ever eaten. My husband absolutely loved his shrimp and grits, perfectly cooked and well balanced flavor. Well, I know everyone recommends the chocolate cake, I can't rave enough about the crème brûlée. Do yourself a favor and go out of your way to enjoy a " private chef experience" meal! You will be glad you did!

My husband had the Bean, kale soup which he said is probably the best soup he's ever eaten! Everything was Amazing 5+ stars on the food. The service was pretty good. The restaurant is nicely decorated but the acoustics were horrible. It WAS SO LOUD that it made the dining experience suffer greatly. We sat upfront to avoid the noise but could barely hear one another across the table. But again the food was wonderful. Not a single dish disappointed. Many, many complements to the chef and his staff.
