I ended up joining the zip club on a promotional email. I got this location is 15 minutes from my house so I tried it today. I had the blueberry lemonade which I thought I would really like, but it has a strong vinegar flavor so I changed it in for a regular soda. I also had a bagel with the asiago cheese, toasted with cream cheese, but the bagel looked more like a bread, puff or roll with cheese on top. They didn't have no bagel hole in the middle. I ordered on my phone so I had very limited interactions with the staff but everything seemed good. They have a shared parking lot. They do not have a strive through. They do mobile order contact, kiosk, and regular front desk order. Panera bread is a great place to work remotely. Have a Bible study meet friends or family for lunch or even sign your mortgage. I've about had it with this Panera store. Okay so story-time!! Today counts the FOURTH TIME they have messed up my frontega chicken panini order. A little explanation: I am allergic to dairy and cheese and get hives when I eat anything with that stuff, so I always ask to remove the mozzarella cheese and chipotle aioli that comes on the sandwich. I don't know how the heck they are reading these tickets in the back, but today was the FOURTH TIME I opened my sandwich to find that they had forgotten to get rid of the mozzarella cheese. I'm not a picky person either, if they forgot to leave out something like onions or whatever I don't care but cheese is IMPORTANT for me given my allergy. To make the situation worse, I ordered my sandwich to-go...so yeah imagine my surprise when I opened my sandwich and found mozzarella in it...AGAIN. I called them over the phone and calmly explained to them what happened and that this wasn't the first time. The manager didn't seem to care and never even apologized. I asked them what could they do to remedy the situation and they said that if I came back they would make me another sandwich. At this point I was already tired from my long day and didn't want to go back and explained to her this. ONLY after that did she say that she would personally give me a full refund along with the sandwich if I drove back. I really didn't want to drive back since I was already physically and mentally at home, but your boy was hungry so I decided to drive back...but that's not where the story ends. I got to Panera and I don't know if my face gave it away or not but the worker at the front asked if I was here for the remade sandwich. I said yes and she handed me a bag and apologized for the whole situation. I said thank you and asked if I could speak with the manager I spoke over the phone with so I could get my refund. She said yes and walked to the back to grab her. After about 2 long minutes the manager came out and asked me what else I needed...UMMM maybe my refund?! I obviously didn't say it like that but I was just dumbfounded by the complete lack of sincerity or care from this manager. She forgot about my refund, never apologized for the situation, and honestly didn't seem to have cared just how bad they screwed up. She has a complete disregard for customer service and shouldn't be running the place in all honesty. The silver lining is that the sandwich, when it is made correctly, tastes pretty good! Am I going to play roulette to see if they're gonna make it right the next time? Hell to the no. It's a big place with a lot of seating. Ordering is self serve or at the counter. They call your name when your order is ready. Then you go pick up your food at the pick up counter. When you're done eating you pick up your tray and dispose of your trash. As one can surmise the experience is quite impersonal. As for the food, the broccoli cheddar soup was good. The French Dip was below average with very little beef in it. The Aujous sauce was great. In fact, it was better than the sandwich. read more

Today marks the last day I ever eat at this chain. I've been a die hard panera fan for so many years and their quality at any location has gone downhill so drastically, it makes me angry. Over the pandemic I can't even recall the amount of times they've had such severe staff shortages that their trash bins were overflowing. As for this specific location- this is the last time I get screwed over with paying this much for such bad service and lack of quality in their food. Today I ordered for pickup a standard Cesar salad with the addition of arugula.. and my salad came out as a literal small handful of arugula. Seriously? Furious with my order- I went into the restaurant to ask why they had left out the literal base of the salad.. for an employee to say she will give me the lettuce.. went to the counter and picked up a small handful of lettuce only. Do I care to argue?? What am I going to get out of this? Do I blame lack of customer service training? I have had general problems with this location, where I NEVER get my cup for my drink. I always have to ask and you can't ask the same employee who is working on the food.. you must wait or cut in line at the register to show your receipt to wait to grab a cup.... This is such a small detail which makes me waste so much of my time and energy to grab my food to go. I hate to be rude and cut a large group of other customers who are waiting to order. This locations overall lack of heavy duty cleaning also makes me upset, as this is a heavy traffic location. It's very obvious there hasn't been a heavy cleaning by an external company.. EVER??? There are obvious roof leaks and lack of standard hygienic measures in place. When you have a restaurant, you cannot rely simply on the employees who have just worked for 7 hours and are now asked by their manager to clean the dining chairs- who have no proper training on doing so. This $6 salad will be the end of my service this company and their inability to train employees, maintain employees, as well as lack of creating a clean and easy atmosphere for their customers. No free drink subscription should keep anyone coming back to a business that doesn't care about anything but their profit. This Sanford location and the Millenia location, that I used to frequent are both owned by the Covelli franchise. It's very obvious the lack of quality that these 2 locations share. read more

We've patronized Panera in many areas around Florida and found this location to be just fine. Years ago they removed the Cobb Salad from the menu, which I never understood, but now it's back. Good for them. We did not see any issues while we were there. I do agree that the prices have pushed up as they have everywhere. Not good but what are you going to do? It doesn't matter which Panera Bread we go to, the orders include almost the same thing every time. A strawberry smoothie. My youngest loves the strawberry smoothie from Panera Bread. I really like using the kiosks inside for when I order because it remembers my favorites list. Every Panera looks similar, not a ton of frills. The drink stations are nice because you can refill your drink before leaving. The open kitchen is nice because you can talk to a person in the event you have a question or issue. My food might not always be the best, but as long as the Strawberry Smoothie continues to be made the exact same way at every location, I will continue to give 5 stars because you made my kids day. read more

Panera is known, at least for me, or for their breakfast and baked goods items. I use them frequently to bring in some breakfast when I am conducting breakfast meetings around the southeast. Everyone always likes to be surprised with a nice package of bagels, cream cheese and some hot coffee. I do like their bagels with cream cheese, it is my most common go to at Panera's. This is the case whether I am buying for one of my aforementioned business meetings or if I'm just grabbing something to eat for myself. I have had lunch there a few times and while it is okay, I find it nothing special. I don't understand why rapid pickup is behind the cashier station. It feels like it defeats the purpose to have to stand in line to then ask for your food. This morning we ordered a rapid pick up from this location and were somewhat disappointed by the quality of service. I ordered a sandwich on a soft brioche bun because I am experiencing oral pain. The restaurant called us to inform us that they were out of brioche buns, so I asked for the ingredients to be put in a bowl because the other bread options would be painful to eat. The portions provided seemed kind of weak, maybe throw in an extra scrambled egg if a customer requests their order like this, I paid almost $5 for a sausage patty, two small slices of cheese, and what looked like half a scrambled egg. The food was good, but maybe try to provide value to your guests. The other problem was that my partner ordered an Asiago bagel, sliced and toasted.
